Louis's point of view:
Winter came quick in Hogwarts and the first snow of course. Me and Y'n got closer and closer every day. I just want to let it out if myself and tell her, but I can't admit it to myself. How am I supposed to admit it to Y'n then?
"Didn't scream for me to get up?"- Y'n said as she walked towards me.
"Forgot."- I said smirking.
"Even Issie is annoyed by your smirk."- Y'n said.
(writer: I'm going to put Y'n instead of pronouns because I don't want to say "your pronouns" every time!!)
"They would say every part of me is annoying if you asked them."- I said.
"Today Gryffindors and Slytherins are playing."- Y'n said.
"Everybody is talking about it for a week Y'n."- I said.
"Just informing you."- Y'n said as she pushed my back to walk.
We sat down in Great Hall and saw Hermione, Harry and Ron talking about something quietly.
"What are they talking about?"
We came towards them as they continued talking.
"You can't do that Harry!"- Hermione said.
"Professor said I can use it however I want to."- Harry said.
"Why use it on something dumb like this?"- Hermione asked.
"It's not dumb."- Harry said.
"What is this all about?"- Y'n asked.
"Why would we tell you two if you are in Slytherin."- Ron said.
"Like you 3 met us yesterday."- Louis said.
"Harry wants to put potion he earned in Ron's drink so he can do well on a game today."- Hermione said.
"Well he can technically do whatever he wants with it."- I said.
"Right."- Harry said.
"Louis."- Y'n turned around to me. "It's cheating."
"Your not the one to talk."- I said. "Staying up after hours, hiding in Snape's potion closet-"
"All that because of you."- Y'n cut me off.
"You could always say no."- I said.
"Like that works on you."- Y'n smiled and turned back to them.
"Harry you could use luck charm on Y'n and Louis so they can finally be together."- Hermione said.
"Be more useful if you use it on Ron and Hermione."- Y'n said while I slightly laughed.
I hated when I say hated to admit to myself, but Y'n was never just a friend to me. I wanted to admit it so many times. Like when Bellatrix and others were fighting, every time when we were stuck somewhere, when we were drunk.
"What do you say Louis?"- Ron asked.
"Mhm."- I said trying not to zone out again.
"So you agree."- Hermione said. "Great!"
"No he doesn't."- Y'n said.
"What was the question even?"- I asked.
"We asked if we should make you two drink truth serum potion and ask a few questions."- Ron said.
"That isn't that scary."- I said.
"They wouldn't ask questions like how are you Louis."- Y'n said.
"Ooooh."- I said.
"Why are you scared then if you don't like each other?"- Hermione asked.
"Why are you two scared too?"- Y'n asked.
"We aren't."- Ron said.
"So we aren't."- I said.
Bell rang and me and Y'n had potions today together. Today we had just one class because of the game afternoon.
"Have you seen Draco?"- I asked.
"I haven't seen him in days."- Y'n said.
"Today we are making truth-telling potion."- Professor said.
"Called it."- Ron said.
"Open your books and start."- Professor said.
I opened my book and started with potion. Y'n told me Harry poured lucky charm in Ron's drink. I was fine with it. I mean Ron had to have some skill to play.
"Where are you zoning out every 2 minutes?"- Y'n asked.
"Nowhere."- I said. "How are we gonna even know if we made the potion correct?"
"You will probably have to try it."- Y'n said. "I'm planning not to poison myself."
"Your saying that to me."- I said as we started laughing.
About hour later we were done with our potions.
"Okay students now it's time for you to try your potions and ask partner your sitting with a question."- Professor said.
"What if I die when I drink this?"- I asked.
"Pray you don't I guess."- Y'n said.
I drank the sip of potion and felt dizzy.
"Did you drink it?"- Y'n asked.
"This feels weird."- I said.
"Let me ask you a question."- Y'n said. "What did you write in that notebook that was on your table in your room?"
"I just wrote there big moments that happened in 4th year. That's pretty much it."- I said avoiding the explaining.
I wrote in that notebook how I met Y'n and how (your pronouns) beautiful and funny, but that was just when we met so I had a little crush on her. I don't know if there's any left. I really hope there isn't. I hate to admit it, but I think she doesn't feel the same and it would ruin everything. And Issie and Millie would probably burn me alive if I ruined everything.
"Me next."- Ron said as I turned around. "Do you like Y'n?"
"Potion only works for one question and no"- I said.
"Too bad."- He said.
Y'n drank little sip of the potion and waited for me to ask something.
"Do you like Louis?"- Ron asked before I could ask anything.
"Did you like Tom Riddle?"- I asked.
Y'n looked at us both and looked back to me.
"I just bring him up to annoy you."- Y'n said completely ignoring Ron.
"Didn't answer his question."- Hermione said.
"No I don't."- Y'n said.
"It only works for one question."- Hermione said.
"Why would you first answer his question to avoid mine?"- Ron asked.
"It would be the same answer both ways."- Y'n said.
But why didn't she wanted to answer Ron's question first when he asked her first?
After some short time class ended and we had lunch. Lunch went by fast. We wished Ron and Harry luck for the game and after one hour we went to go sit and watch them.
"I don't know how no one doesn't die in this game."- Y'n said.
"Couldn't agree more."- I said.
Game started and Ron was saving every point Slytherins could score. Of course I wanted Slytherins to win. It was my house after all.
"Do you think Ron likes Lavender?"- Y'n asked.
"That was random."- I said.
"Do you?"
"I don't know honestly, but she likes Ron for sure."- I said.
"I feel bad for Hermione now."- Y'n said as she rested her head on my shoulder.
"Why?"- I asked.
"Well she clearly likes Ron while Ron gets all the attention from Lavender and they will probably be together."
"Did you felt like this when Kendall kissed me awh."- I said.
"Hermione likes Ron."- Y'n said looking at me. "Big difference."
"I was kidding."- I said.
"I know."- Y'n said.
It was last moments of the game and they announced that Gryffindors won. How wouldn't they when Ron saved every point. Gryffindors were running to celebrate.
"Come."- Y'n pulled me up as we were walking towards the room where they were celebrating.
"We weren't supposed to be here."- I said.
"I know."
We looked over and saw them celebrating. Some moments later we saw Lavender kissing Ron. Hermione runned away and Harry runned away after her. Y'n was going togo after them.
"Don't."- I said taking her hand. "Let her be alone now."
"But Harry is with her."- Y'n said.
"Us two would just make the scene more dramatic."- I said. "Your gonna talk to her tomorrow."
"Fine."- Y'n said. "Poor Hermione."
"Is Ron blind?"- I asked as we got our of the room and were walking towards the room.
"Exactly."
"I mean he sees the way she looks at him and how they were best friends and now everything is awkward."- I said.
"Right."- Y'n said wondering off.
After 2 minutes I have realized I have just described our relationship. I'm so dumb I swear.
We entered common room and talked for the rest of the evening.
"Y'n."- I said as we got up.
"Yeah?"
"Don't forget to talk to Hermione tomorrow."- I said.
"You don't forget to do predictions homework."- Y'n said.
"Can I copy off you?"- I asked making begging hands.
"Later."- Y'n smiled.
We left to our dorms and I layed down on my bed.
I have completely messed up. I let myself overthink too much.
