【Chapter Fifteen 】

🀢 🀣 🀥

Ariel wasn't big on exercise. She was always healthy and never opposed the idea of working out; she just didn't see the need for it. Gymnastics was the only athletic thing the brunette girl enjoyed, and even that didn't hold her attention for long. Nevertheless, the petit Martin was shocked when she scaled the entire rock climbing wall less than the average time.

The pale-eyed girl beamed as she lightly kicked herself off the wall as her sister began to do the same. Both girls had displayed a remarkable recovery from the entire incident, and most students had managed to forget it even happened.

Ariel stood in her black running shorts and a sports bra with a burgundy jacket covering her shoulders as she undid her harness, moving to stand next to her boyfriend, who greeted her with a small peck.

"McCall! Argent!" Finstock yelled, handing a clipboard to Ariel as he helped Allison with her harness.

The young girl watched Allison and Scott begin to scale the rock wall, lightly flirting with each other along the way. She stood next to Lydia and Stiles, both of who were looking up at the cute couple as well, as they playfully tried to race each other to the top.

The brunette frowned as she turned to Stiles, "Too bad we didn't get to go together," she said, turning to her boyfriend with a grin. Stiles had not already gone up the wall, but since Ariel just went, she would have to help Coach track the times of all the students for the rest of the class.

Coach Finstock and Ariel had a strange bond in the fact that Coach liked Ariel, and Ariel didn't hate Coach. Therefore at the beginning of class, Coach had designated Ariel to help him keep track of all the student's times for the activity today.

Stiles wrapped his arms around her waist, gently resting his head on her own as he said, "Yeah, but that meant I got to watch my hot girlfriend scale the wall." Stiles reminded her, causing her to roll her eyes, trying her hardest to hide her blush.

Ariel's eyes moved back to the wall just in time to see Allison kick her leg out and twist Scott's ankle causing him to lose his grip. The tanned boy fell from the wall in record time, gasping as the harness stopped him from hitting the ground by a few inches before giving up altogether and causing him to land on the mat with a small thump.

Ariel raised her hand to her lips to hide the light giggles that escaped as Stiles laughed into her shoulder. Coach Finstock chuckled along with the students, bending down to the embarrassed teen's level, "Ah, McCall," he chuckled. "I don't know why, but your pain gives me a special kind of joy. Right?"

Scott just remained on the floor as he breathed deeply in and out, waiting for his breathing to return to normal before standing up. Finstock didn't seem to notice, however, as he stood from his crouched position and pointed towards the group of students huddled near the bleachers.

As Allison undid her harness, Ariel began to look through the list for anyone who hadn't gone yet, "All right, the next two are Stiles and Erica," Ariel shouted, turning to look for the shy blonde girl in the crowd.

Finstock found her first as he pointed her out, "Let's go."

Stiles seemed to rise to the occasion as she wore a childish grin before rushing to the wall, barely looking back at Ariel as he skipped over to his harness. Erica didn't seem as happy as she slowly walked up to the wall and hesitated to put on her harness.

Ariel noticed her hesitation and placed the clipboard on the floor before kindly walking up to her classmate, "Let me help you," the brunette kindly smiled, taking the harness clips from Erica and hastening them in the correct areas making sure they were tight before she let them go.

Erica shyly offered the sweet Martin a smile, too nervous to say anything to the girl believing that she would react like her sister. Ariel wasn't fazed, however, as she hooked the harness to the wire and stood back, "There you go."

Erica solemnly smiled. He anxiously began to climb the wall. "You got it," Ariel cheered, noticing how anxious she was.

Erica pushed herself further, trying to make it up the wall. She had only made it a few inches up, with a considerable amount of strain before the girl stopped. Everyone began to crowd around her trying to make sure she was okay.

It wasn't until Ariel noticed Stiles kicking himself off the wall that she realized how long Erica had been clinging to the wall. Moving to stand right under the shaking blonde, the short girl tried to reach out her hand to help stabilize her cord. The brunette didn't know how else to help the poor girl as she was hyperventilating on the wall.

"Erica!" Coach exclaimed, noticing that the other students had begun to murmur amongst themselves about the girl. "Dizzy? Is it vertigo?"

Ariel shook her head, looking closely at the Reyes girl, "Vertigo is a dysfunction of the vestibular system of the inner ear," the petit Martin murmured, distracted by Erica's swaying from left to right.

Lydia just rolled her eyes, wishing to leave the class as soon as possible. "Basically, she's just freaking out."

"Erica," Ariel called, worriedly pulling her bottom lip into her mouth.

Stiles sighed, watching his girlfriend's anxiety begin to match that of the girl she was concerned about, running a hand through his hair. "Coach, maybe you should make her come down."

"She's epileptic," Allison nodded her head, looking up at the girl as she began to freeze up a bit.

"Why does nobody tell me this stuff?" Coach groaned before walking up to stand near Ariel. "Erica, y-you're fine. Just- Just kick off from the wall. There's a mat to catch you. Come on."

Ariel frantically nodded her head, "I am right here, Erica. You are fine," she called out, watching as Erica slowly loosened her grip on the wall. The short girl began to back away as the blond girl kicked herself off the wall until her trembling body finally hit the floor. Ariel was the first one to reach her as she soothingly rubbed her hand on the girl's shoulder, helping her back to the girl's locker room.

Once the girls had made it to the lockerroom, Ariel joined Allison and Lydia in changing back into their regular school clothes. Ariel was glad that she chose to wear a skirt today as she didn't have to struggle to put on her clothes and get freshened up before exiting the washroom to return the clipboard to Coach.

The brunette let out a small huff, knowing that she would have no choice but to go into the boy's locker room to reach Coaches' office, which happened to be inconveniently situated in the middle. 'At least they will be dressed,' Ariel hopefully thought to herself as she opened the door to enter the sweat room.

Before the Martin girl could even pass the first set of lockers to reach Finstock's room, Ariel heard the voices of Scott and Stiles speaking near her. Deciding to talk to them first, Ariel made her way towards the boys who stood on the other side of the lockers.

As she approached the boys, she heard Stiles speak to Scott about the double date they had planned for the night, "You know who else wants to have a good time? Stiles! Stiles wants to have a great time, many, many times, several times in a row. In many different positions," Stiles mocked before rubbing his face with a sigh, "You know I love this girl, right? I can't just cancel on her again, Scott."

Ariel froze as her cheeks burned a bright rouge, which seemed to slowly cover her entire face. The embarrassed teen girl began to slowly back away from the two boys until she had successfully made it out of the locker room and into the gym.

The doll-like girl could not understand why she felt so weird. She liked Stiles a lot, so much that it hurt her, but it was a foreign feeling to know that Stiles wanted her in more than just an emotional way but a physical way as well. Not that she hadn't thought about it, since the girl had spent many nights sleeplessly dreaming of what it would be like to give herself to the boy in every way possible. The brunette wouldn't object to wanting the same, but she knew that she wasn't ready for that, not just yet.

If Ariel were honest, though, she could care less about Stiles being a horny teenage boy. She was more upset over what he had mentioned after. Did he really mean it when he said he loved her? Or was he just joking? The whiskey-eyed boy surely couldn't love her, not so early into their relationship. The brunette had never loved anyone before, but she had seen and heard enough to know that it just wasn't possible.

The thing that scared her the most, however, was the fact that his words didn't scare her at all. Instead, they only brought a feeling of warmth throughout her body that causing a grin to etch itself onto her face.

Just as the Martin girl was about to return to look for her sister and Allison, she looked up at the rock climbing wall and noticed a small figure. Peering her eyes further, she realized that it was Erica, trying to continue her scale of the wall. Forgetting about all her won problems, for now, Ariel ran over, "Erica, what are you doing?"

Erica just ignored her, however, as she continued to try and move up the wall. Ariel began to frantically look around the gym for anyone who would be able to help her, "Please just get down, and I can help you with your harness," Ariel practically begged as she watched the girl struggle to remain stable.

It felt like everything I that moment was in slow motion as Erica's hands slipped from the colorful rocks they had been gripping. The blond Reyes fell towards the ground, her body coiling in to brace for the ground as Ariel watched in horror, not knowing how she could help. Just as Erica was about to hit the floor, Ariel felt herself being moved out the way as Scott caught her in a split second.

More students began to rush to the scene as Ariel blinked away her fear induces state, feeling Stiles pull her into a hug. Pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead, he began to whisper soft words in her ear, wiping away the tears that Ariel didn't even know she had.

"How did you know," Stiles asked once he pulled away to look at his girlfriend.

Ariel shook her head as she watched Erica seize on the floor, her body spatially lurching, "I just walked in the gym. I don't know why."

🀢 🀣 🀥

Ariel sat next to Scott as she bit into the red apple that she had bought for lunch. The two were watching as Stiles pitifully failed at trying to convince Boyle to lower his price for the keys to the skating rink. The petit brunette had offered to ask Boyle herself since they had spoken a few times in history class, but Stiles refused.

"So has Stiles convinced you to watch Star Wars yet?" Scott smirked at the girl who sat across from him, knowing that they had spent the afternoon at her house. He had a bet with Allison over who would be able to convince the other to watch their favorite series; Allison thought that Stiles would be way more willing to watch Harry Potter with Ariel before Ariel would watch Star Wars; Scott disagreed.

Ariel pursed her lips at the boy, wondering how he knew about Stiles asking to watch the newest Star Wars movie, "No, we decided to watch Harry Potter instead," the brunette smirked, knowing that the couple had devised a bet against them. Allison had agreed to share half the profits with Ariel if she lied.

In all honesty, neither teen had watched television the previous day.

Scott shook his head with a dismal sigh, "He really likes you," the boy spoke in earnest.

Ariel nervously laughed, thinking back to the last hour where she had learned Stiles loved her. She wanted to believe that he didn't truly mean it but knew that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, the girl didn't know how to act around her boyfriend now that she knew, "I like him too."

Scott sighed as he looked over at Stiles, who had finally given up and handed Boyle the fifty, "I am sorry he is an idiot."

Ariel laughed, watching as Stiles walked up to the table in victory, slamming the keys down before sitting next to her. Lightly pecking her lips, he pointed to the keys, "Date night is on."

Ariel grinned, moving her hand to cup Stiles cheek as she moved to kiss him, "Great," just as her lips were about to press against the buzzcut boy, a gasp from the table near her caused her to pull away.

Her pale eyes immediatly travel over to the cafeteria doors where a girl stood, dressed in a short black skirt and matching leather jacket. Ariel couldn't believe her eyes as she realized that the girl was Erica Reyes, the shy girl she was friends with in middle school. She had completely changed from the last time she saw her in pe class.

Ariel couldn't help but watch as she seductively walked over to a table full of guys and wink at them before turning over to the table where the three teens sat. The Martin girl was infuriated, to say the least, she was never one to go against a good makeover, but nobody stole Ariel, Allison, and Lydia's iconic middle part. Clenching her fists tightly, Ariel gritted out, "What the holy hell-"

"Is that," Lydia finished, slamming her hands on the table as she glared at the girl standing in front of her.

"Erica freaking Reyes," Stiles breathed out, causing Ariel to scoff in disbelief, moving from her seat as she walked away from the boys. Both of which were taken by the girl's new look. Ariel looked over her shoulder to see both of them running after her while she just rolled her eyes.

Turning to the strawberry blond next to her, Ariel noticed the red rims under her sister's eyes. Squinting her eyes, the chocolate haired girl whispered, "Have you been crying?"

Lydia looked over to Ariel with a cautious look, obviously trying to make sure nobody heard the two of them before she grinned, spitting out the words, "Jackson is an asshole, who blames me for some weird-ass masculinity crisis he is having. Nothing to worry about."

Ariel frowned as she stopped walking to look at her sister, who seemed to be struggling to keep her tears at bay, "Screw him, Lyds," the girl scoffed, "He wasn't worth you then and isn't now."

The older Martin nodded her head stiffly, obviously trying to believe in the words spoken to her but struggling. Ariel hated seeing her sister like this: broken and lost. She couldn't handle it.

"Why don't you join us on our double date tonight," Ariel suggested with a soft smile, "Allison won't' mind, and Stiles doesn't care," the sister convincingly said, knowing it may be a lie, "Please. I won't take no for an answer."

It turned out to be easier than Ariel thought to convince Stiles to allow Lydia to join them. All it took was a bit of coercion on her part and the promise over the phone that the minute they got there, she would vow that he was the sexiest man she had ever seen. She would have done more if it meant getting a smile back on her older sister's face.

The two Martins had been through a lot together, and they couldn't leave each other to fight their battles alone.

🀢 🀣 🀥

"And right when I approached him, he blurted out that he loved me. And now I don't know how to act because I am not sure if I feel the same way," Ariel explained why she had been so awkward with Stiles after school to Lydia and Allison. She had originally planned on leaving school with Stiles, but she rushed to join the girls last minute.

Allison and Lydia seemed to look at each other in consideration before they both burst into a fit of giggles causing Ariel to furrow her eyebrows in confusion, "What is so funny? This is serious."

Allison sat up from her reclined position on her bed, stopping the pillow between her arms as she looked at the petit brunette in disbelief, "You are upset because Stiles loves you. That is literally something girls dream of."

"But I don't know-"

Lydia interrupted her sister, "Ariel, you love Stiles."

Ariel was taken aback by her sister's blatant statement about her feelings. How could she knew something Ariel didn't. "I don't know what love is, so I can't possibly-"

"You love him," Allison groaned, interrupting the girl for the second time, earning a sour expression from Ariel in return, "God, Ari. Have you seen the way you act around him. Always smiling and laughing at his weirdness. Constantly talking about him-"

"I do not," Ariel defended, earning bored looks from both girls before Allison continued.

"You look at Stiles like he is the only guy in the world," Allison smiled as she thought about her own boyfriend before she shook her head and looked back to the brunette standing next to her, "I know it is scary, but you have to trust your heart."

Lydia nodded, moving to join the girls on the bed, "I have never seen you happier, sister," the strawberry blonde smiled, "talk to Stiles about it."

Ariel sighed before nodding her head, "Fine," the brunette spoke, knowing that in her heart: she loved Stiles. Looking back at the two girls, she couldn't help but pull them into a group hug as causing them all to giggle, "You two are the best."

Lydia and Allison both giggled, shaking their heads at the sweet girl just as a knock came from the door making the three turn their heads and see Chris Argent standing in the doorway with a small smile on his face at the adorable sight.

"Headed out?" Chris asked, pointing to the door.

"Studying." Allison lied as the twins moved their legs to hide the skating outfit they had packed. "Just studying, dad."

Chris nodded with a small smile before he pointed for Allison to join him outside the bedroom door. Allison looked back at the twins, one of which who was trying to flirt with Chris, before nodding her head and leaving to speak with her father.

"What do you think they are talking about," Lydia spoke in a low whisper as she leaned towards Ariel, who was listening to know just that. "Probably how we are the social pariahs of the town."

Ariel shook her head. She had grown quite close with the Argent family due to her numerous sleepovers at Allison's house and would hate to believe they would isolate her from the family due to some silly suspicion that she was a werewolf. "They wouldn't."

Lydia shrugged before pulling out her phone, "Well, if the entire town is going to shun us with pitchforks, might as well document it," she pursed her lips as she held out her cell for a picture.

Ariel laughed in disbelief that her sister was so calm about everything before making a silly face at the camera, causing Lydia to do the same. The girls began snapping numerous photos like that until one of their faces was too funny for them to remain composed as Lydia fell on top of her sister in a fit of giggles.

"Please post that one," Ariel gasped, a huge smile on her face.

The twins didn't even notice that Allison had been saying at the two girls from her doorway after speaking to her father, a grin painted on her lips as she thought to herself how lucky she was to have the best friends in the world.

🀢 🀣 🀥

Ariel giggled, along with the girls, as they entered the skating rink. Boyd had kept the end of his deal and unlocked the main gate for them, so all they had to use was the key to access the main area. The twins both walked next to each other as Ariel still didn't know exactly how to talk to Stiles about her feelings. Therefore it was extremely awkward when she just passed him at the door and headed straight for the bleachers to put on her shoes.

The girl flattened out her plaid skirt and jacket as she took off her gloves to put on her skates. Although Ariel wouldn't consider herself the best skater, her family would go every Christmas when they traveled to Colorado, so she had certain clothes for skating as well as her own skates in a clean white.

Just as Ariel began tying her skates, she felt another presence move to sit next to her. The brunette sighed as she knew that Stiles could tell there was something wrong with her by the way he hadn't spoken a word since he sat down next to her, just tied his skates in silence. Moving up from her position to tie her skates, Ariel mustered all the courage she had before she blurted, "You love me."

The moment the words fell out of Ariel's lips, her hand went over her mouth in shock. She had meant to sound more inquisitive and cool than she did. Instead, she sounded like a scared criminal in interrogation.

Stiles wore a perplexed expression before he nodded, "Y-Yeah," he began before shaking his head, "Why do you ask me that?"

"How," Ariel frowned, calming down from her hyperactive state, "How can you know that?"

Stiles sighed before looking up at Ariell in understanding, "That is why you were acting so weird? Because you freaked out when I said that? I thought it was because of Erica..." Stiles trailed off when he noticed the scowl that grew on his girlfriend's face at the mention of the she-wolf.

Moving to hold her face in his hands, Stiles began, "Ariel, I have loved you since the fourth grade," the lanky teen smiled, thinking back to their younger selves, "I don't know if you remember this day, but during recess one day, I was forced to stay inside because I had broken my leg. Everyone was about to leave and play some game. Still, I remember you managed to convince the entire grade that it would be more fun to stay inside and act like we had a rainy day," Stiles grinned, "That was when I knew I loved you."

Ariel grinned, remembering the day as Stiles described it to her; she had completely forgotten about that. The brunette had felt so bad for the poor boy that she spoke to Lydia about telling the teachers that she saw a hornet nest outside so they could stay in.

"We were ten, Stiles," Ariel spoke, a small grin on her face as she looked at the adorable boy whose eyes were solely focused on her without a care in the world.

Stiles nodded his head, gently caressing her cheek, "I knew at that moment."

Before Stiles could say another word, Ariel had pulled herself towards him, pressing her cold lips on his. Both teens held each other tightly as their lips moved together, trying to turn to share their love with each other. The teen boy could barely think as he tasted the strawberry flavor of the brunette's lip gloss. Pulling him closer, Ariel gasped into the kiss in surprise to the overwhelming surge of feelings running through her body as she looked at the boy in front of her.

"I love you, too," Ariel spoke in his arms, moving away slightly so her eyes could meet his, relishing in the sense of relief and joy that washed over her as she said the words, causing her to say it again, "I love you, Stiles Stilinksi."

Stiles grinned as he lightly pecked her lips, "Good, because "I love you, Ariel Martin, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon."

Ariel giggled, enjoying just looking into Stiles's eyes as she sat in his arms. The brunette didn't even think about ice skating as she was sure that this had already been her best date ever, "You're shaking," Stiles remarked, causing the girl to look down at her cold fingers with a slight frown as she began to look around for her gloves.

"Yeah, it's freezing in here."

Stiles' face lit up as if he had an idea, and he turned to his backpack, pulling out an orange pair of gloves and handing them to her, causing the girl to slightly wrinkle her nose, "Sorry, but Lydia would kill me if I mixed blue plaid with orange."

The hazel-eyed boy looked at her with a slight sense of betrayal and hurt as he protested, "But it's the colors of the Mets."

🀢 🀣 🀥

Ariel expertly glided across the frozen ice, carefully created a figure eight before she kicked off with her right foot. Feeling her body begin to lift into the air, the petite brunette felt her arms close to her chest as she spun herself, creating a clean double lutz before landing perfectly on the edge of her skate and spinning back on the ground to stabilize her land. With a satisfied smile, the small girl let her legs take control as she skated lightly over the ice in another circle before turning to look over at Stiles, who was staring in awe.

Wearing a small grin, Ariel reached out her hand as she skated over to her boyfriend, who now looked to the ice hesitantly, "Come on," she airily laughed, grabbing his hand and pulling him with her.

Stiles lightly grabbed her waist as they began to skate over the ice. He chuckled as they both began to skate around the rink in perfect sync, unlike Scott, who had just run into the glass.

Ariel looked over her shoulder to see her sister gracefully skating along the ice, doing jumps and turns all along the floor. She noticed a small picture booth behind her sister near the concessions stand. Turning to look back at Stiles, she got an idea as she pulled him towards the exit, "Let's take a photo."

Stiles laughed, following the girl towards the booth. He couldn't help but watch the beautiful girl in front of him as she pulled him towards the picture booth. Never in a million years would he have thought that e would get her to date him, let alone love him. But there he stood in the photo booth with his girlfriend, watching as she adorably began pressing buttons to set up the machine.

"Okay, what should we do," Ariel giggled up at him, causing butterflies to erupt in his stomach.

Trying to remember how to speak, Stiles pointed towards the screen, "We could do one where we just smile and maybe another where we do goofy faces."

Ariel nodded, turning to the camera before she smiled at the screen along with Stiles. Then for the second shot, they changed positions so that the petit girl sat behind her boyfriend and wrapped her arms around him, making funny faces together. For the next photo, neither knew what to do, so they both ended up laughing at each other, as Ariel hooked her arm around Stiles to stop herself from falling back. For the next one, Ariel shocked Stiles by moving to straddle on his lap, causing him to wrap his arms around her as she moved their faces for them to kiss in front of the camera.

Ariel moved away from the kiss to look for the photo strip, but before she could move off of Stiles's lap, the boy had pulled her back towards him and slammed his lips on hers. Ariel gasped, allowing the boy to slip his tongue in her mouth as they deepened the kiss, causing Ariel to grin as she angled her head to deepen the kiss. Ariel let out a slight moan, unable to contain herself as shivers began to run down her spine, as she felt Stiles's hands begin to travel under her shirt, moving up to the right below her bra line.

Just as Ariel moved her hands to remove Stiles's jacket, a loud scream cut the teens off. The flustered girl was the first one to move away, as she practically leaped out of the booth, "Lydia?!?"

The brunette quickly ran to the ice, looking at her sister's frantic figure as she clawed at the ice. Ariel is the fastest skater, reached her before Allison's feet managed to touch the floor, falling to her knees.

"Lydia, what's wrong," Ariel worriedly asked, before looking down at what had caused her sister to freak out in the first place, only to have a sense of panic rush over her body as well. There trapped beneath the ice and the lavender flower petals was Peter Hale with his teeth bared, clawing at the ice as he tried to reach her.

Ariel began to understand her sister's fear as she herself began wailing, as she moved to pull her sister away from the ice. The worst part of it all was the fact that Scott, Allison, and even Stiles just watched the two girls in confusion. She felt Stiles's arm wrap themselves around her to calm her down, but she only began to feel worse as she began to fight him off so she could escape.

Nobody knew what the hell was going on.

🀢 🀣 🀥

The next day, at school, Ariel had joined Scott in interrogating Erica. They had been walking over to their first class together when they noticed that the Reyes girl seemed to be waiting for them near the lockers. They both knew that Derek would try to get one more beta for his pack and just had to figure out who it was.

"Two's not enough for Derek; I know he needs at least three," Scott said straightforwardly as he leaned himself near the blonde girl's locker. "So who's next?"

Erica scoffed, before closing her locker to face Ariel, who stood with her arms, crossed looking at her, "Who?"

"Why does there have to be a next when we've already got you?" Erica purred as she flirtatiously walked closer to Scott.

"Who's next?" Scott repeated, not amused by her skanky new attitude.

Erica lightly raised her eyebrow before turning to look at both teens, "You know, I never knew what I looked like during a seizure until someone took a video of me once and put it online."

Scott shook his head, "I don't care," as Ariel nodded her head, trying her hardest to not show how sad she was for the little detail. Erica had always been a nice girl before all this happened, and the Martin twin knew she was wrongly bullied. If she didn't know the consequences that may come if it, she would not have blamed the once epileptic teen for accepting the bite.

"It happened during class," Erica continued, sensing the pity Ariel was developing, "I started seizing up in my desk, and everyone was saying how they should put something in my mouth until some genius reads the card on my key ring which not to cause it could break my teeth."

"Erica," Ariel softly spoke, her tough persona wavering as she thought of how upset the blond must have been.

Erica's eyes began to water as she added, "you know what happens next? I piss myself. And they start laughing."

Just as the brunette girl was about to forgive the blonde werewolf, the girl walked up with an air of confidence, "You know, the only good thing about seizures was that I never remembered them. Until some brilliant jerkoff..." She slammed Scott and Ariel into the lockers behind them. "Had to go and put cameras in everybody's phone."

All remorse Ariel had felt for the Reyes girl had gone away at that moment as she rolled her eyes, "It's the twenty-first century," the girl spoke, shoving her arm away, "And just so you know," the Martin girl spoke, obviously more angry than she thought, "You were more likable when you weren't a whore."

And with that, the brunette lightly flipped her perfectly curled hair and walked away, lightly swaying her hips. She sorta felt bad for leaving Scott to deal with the girl by himself, but he knew that he was more than capable of keeping her at bay. Plus, Ariel felt that she may actually try to fight the she-wolf, which would not have been a good idea.

🀢 🀣 🀥

Ariel had been walking around the halls looking for Stiles so they could eat lunch together. The angelic Martin was truly looking forward to spending time with him due to the poor morning she had. She had to nervously present her entire presentation on history by herself since her partner wasn't present to class today, and if anyone knew Ariel. They knew the girl hated speaking in front of an audience.

The pale-eyed girl immediately caught Stiles near his lockers, switching out his books for classes. Walking as fast as she could in her heels, she leaned on the locker next to his, immediately reaching on her toes to give him a small kiss, "Hey."

Stiles's expression immediatly changed as a huge grin broke out on his face at the sight of his girlfriend smiling near him, "Hey, I'm about to put this book away, and then we can head to lunch."

"Great," Ariel smiled, before her eyes began to trail down to the book in his hand, the same textbook she had in her accelerated history class, "Hey do you know what happened to Boyd today," the fair-skinned girl asked, her eyes moving from the book to meet the bourbon colored eyes of her boyfriend.

Stiles's forehead scrunched together as he thought about if he had seen Boyd in any of his classes. The quiet student was not known for skipping school days and could usually be expected to arrive on the yellow school bus a few minutes before school began, "No," Stiles began before he trailed off, causing Ariel to continue.

"Well, he wasn't in my history class, so I had to do the entire presentation by myself," Ariel huffed before thinking back to how anxious she was, "I swear I looked so nervous up there."

Stiles frowned at the girl's words but couldn't help but allow himself to be preoccupied with the strange disappearance of Boyd. The chocolate brunette didn't seem to care as she was too preoccupied with her own thoughts, "Honestly, I am not upset with him. I just missed having a buddy to talk to...Stiles?"

Ariel stopped speaking once she noticed that Stiles had grabbed her hand in his own and begun pulling them down the hall as he sped walked down to the cafeteria, "What is wrong," the shirt girl gasped as she tried to match the pace of Stiles's long strides.

"Boyd was missing today, and Erica left school early," Stiles began to say before Ariel put all the pieces together in her head.

"He is the beta."

"Hey, Boyd? It's Ariel!" The small girl yelled as she knocked on the door of his house. Stiles stood next to her, his arm tightly wrapped around her waist as he looked around the neighborhood Boyd lived in. It became apparent to the teens why Boyd had accepted the bite once they arrived at his home, which seemed to be empty.

Ariel frowned, knocking on his door one last time before she gave up, "I don't think he is here," the brunette hummed as she turned to look at her boyfriend only to see that Erica the Skank was smirking behind them.

"What are you doing here?" Erica lightly giggled, trying to mock Ariel's usual innocent attitude, causing the brunette to frown.

Leaning closer to Stiles, she whispered, "I do not sound like that."

"Looking for Boyd?" Erica flashed an evil grin, knowing that she had gained Stiles's attention. Ariel also noticed the boy's dreamy gaze as he looked like an idiot with his mouth hung open and eyes focused right at her forehead.

"Yes," Ariel spoke, crossing her arms, as she glared at the blond wolf in front of her, "But you know that already," she added, squinting her eyes at her in a threatening glower.

"You know what you're doing now that's kind of funny, Stiles?" Erica flirtatiously winked at the boy, ignoring his girlfriend completely. Ariel just scoffed as she looked at Stiles in disbelief. She could not believe that he was attracted to Erica.

"You're only looking in my eyes," Erica pointed out, lightly moving her head from left to right to test her theory, her own eyes flickering to Ariel with a proud smirk.

"That's funny?" Ariel rolled her eyes before jabbing Stiles with her elbow, so she could move out of his arms, causing the boy to loosen his grip.

Erica nodded her head before twisting a lock of her hair with her finger as she flirtatiously sighed, "Because it's that kind of look where you're trying hard not to look anywhere but my eyes. But you want to, don't you?"

Stiles seemed to snap out of his trance at that moment, noticing how much his stupidity had hurt Ariel, "not really, no," the boy muttered, moving to bring his hand to Ariel's back to help them leave.

"Oh. So it's just my eyes?"

Ariel rolled her eyes as she moved to walk around the girl so she and Stiles could leave, "Yep. You have very beautiful eyes."

Erica's hand popped in front of the petit brunette just before she managed to leave the porch, leaning in to spit, "I have beautiful everything."

"And a newfound self-confidence," Ariel boasted with a fake smile, "Congratulations, Erica. We should get going."

Erica laughed as she looked at the couple, "You're not going anywhere."

"Why not?" Stiles challenged, tired of her games.

Erica grinned as she brought the Jeep's muffler up to Ariel's sight, causing her to groan in disbelief. She didn't understand why Erica hated her so much when she had been nothing but nice to the girl, but she was beginning to really hate her.

"You're having car trouble."

Ariel woke up with a slew of cuss words that one would have thought foreign to the small girl who radiated innocence and grace. At the moment, the girl had opened her eyes to be greeted by the sight of a huge black rodent and the stench of what she could only hope was spoiled food; she had gone on a rant, "That is the last time I help that slut from swallowing her damn tongue ever again. She can choke and die for all I care."

"Bitch," Stiles groaned, causing a motion near the girl's feet, as he woke up with immense pain in his head. Ariel had the same bruise on her own forehead but had been too preoccupied with her own anger to realize it was there. Slowly opening his eyes, he looked up at his girlfriend, who was still plotting the death of their offender, before getting up, "You don't mean that," he honestly spoke, "I wish you did, but you don't."

Ariel's entire body whipped around in the trash bin they shared, her face resembling that of an angry bear as she slapped the Stilinksi teenager in the face, "And you with that not staring at her chest thing, what the hell, Stiles?"

The tall boy winced as his eyes adjusted to the dark setting of the day, revealing they had been out for a good three hours, "What?"

"Don't act like you didn't want to look at her chest," Ariel spat.

"I," Stiles began before he trailed off, "It doesn't matter because I already picked you. In the end, no girl matters because I love you, so who cares about Erica fucking Reyes."

Ariel scoffed, "Ha, I am lucky then," the brunette rolled her eyes before jumping out of the dumpster with ease and walking away from her boyfriend. She would forgive him tomorrow, but right now, all she could focus on was her killer headache.
