JOE POV
I couldn't wait to get home. I missed my kids so much, missed my infant and especially my wife. I was thankful to have video calls but it still wasn't the same as physically being there. I got home but knew aside from Ayasha none of the kids were home between school and preschool. Unlocking the door I could distinctly hear Derek, I walked into the living room seeing him as he gently laid my sleeping daughter down, his eyes meeting mine.
"Whats up Joe."
"Sup, she just go to sleep?"
"Yeah."
"Where's Jayla?"
"Gym." I placed my bags down walking up and looking at my sleeping daughter.
"I really wanna hold her, but-"
"You better not wake her up." I chuckled turning to G, who walked in.
"If you had let me finish ms thang I was saying but I'm not going to. I'm gonna check on my wife." I walked out going to our gym. As I walked in I stopped, there was a new piece of equipment but that didn't bother me, it was the sight of seeing my wife hanging upside down doing the splits.

I pulled out my phone snapping a picture of her, fuckng perfection. After a few minutes she flipped back over dropping down and finally realizing me
"Ulilohi." As she walked up to me I grabbed her kissing her. "Wow." She said blushing as she pulled back from me.
"I missed you."
"I can tell."
"Sorry." I said readjusting myself. "Walking in and seeing you like that was pretty fucking hot."
"Thank you, did it look okay, I don't feel as flexible."
"Jayla, baby you had a kid 7 weeks ago, it's going to take a little bit. Besides not as flexible my ass you were just in a full fucking split upside down. If that ain't flexible I don't know what is."
JAYLA POV
I knew I was blushing but I wasn't expecting him to react how he had. It was pretty flattering, I had to admit though I was kind of sore, it wasn't as easy as it should have been. I had got the machine to help me stretch, Nikki had gotten me into pilates honestly, that and barre.
"What is this anyway?"
"It's a pilates machine."
""Wasn't aware you were into that?"
"Nikki got me into it a few years ago, if I worked out with her on the road we did that or barre."
"I'll take your word for it, speaking of, when were you going to tell me you could fight."
"What?" I asked kind of shocked he had hit me with that.
"You heard me. Chaske let it slip when he gave me a ride home a while back."
"I just fool around and I didn't really get to fight. I had two, my mom found out and flipped out."
"I just didn't expect that."
"I'll spare with Alex sometime so you can watch me, it didn't do me any good."
"What makes you say that?" He asked softly. I sighed. I had been doing so well, all the bad shit out of my head and at the drop of a dime it came back. "Aulelei."
"I." I sighed sitting down, Joe dropping to his knees in front of me, his hands gently grasping my face. "I just, I know how to fight, defend myself but I couldn't defend myself from him or stop him. What good did it do that when I needed it I was helpless."
"First you aren't helpless, you are one of the strongest women I know, secondly you were in love Jayla, you loved him. There's a saying love makes you do stupid things for a reason, I am not by any means calling you stupid but you were young, in love, holding on to who he used to be hoping and wishing that person was still there somewhere. Thirdly even grown men can get their asses kicked if they get a hit they don't expect, he caught you off guard and you didn't get the chance to recover and defend yourself. Don't look down on yourself." He said kissing my hands.
"Thank you." I hugged him as he rubbed my back. Always my rock, always knowing what to say. "Um, I got cleared to come back."
"Are you going to?"
"I really want to but how can I leave, we just had her, the boys are barely over one I feel selfish."
"Your not selfish, you have dreams you want to realize, a career you are amazing at that provides for them. I know sometimes its hard not being here as much as both of us want but we are working to provide a better life for them."
"I just feel bad we aren't around and that I feel like a burden to our families who are having to watch them for us while we are gone so much, our parents hell even Lina. She's raising her ex husbands kids, its kinda fucked up."
"I love you, you always think about everyone else. You know I have talked with her before, felt bad myself honestly that she was helping watch our kids but you know what she said?"
"What?"
"Shut the fuck up. She understands and doesn't look at it negatively, we lucked out and she adores them, maybe you should talk with her, tell her how you feel and get her thoughts from her. But Jayla she'll tell you the same. G just like all our parents know we are trying to provide the best life we can for the family, they don't hold that against us."
Walking back in I walked to our room and got in the shower. I was a sweaty mess, the hot water easing my muscles. I was sore but it felt good, it was nice getting back into things. I wonder if they had told him I had been in the gym three hours. Monday I was actually getting back in the ring at the PC. I had already spoken to dad and Paul, While I wasn't participating in an actual match I was leading an invasion with NXT. They were going to partake this year in the series and what better way than to lead with my family a war, that and it made for a good story Seth was Raw, Roman Smackdown and now the last remaining member of the Shield in WWE, Roman's wife was going to lead NXT, surprising everyone. After that the plan was for me to win the Rumble I had already asked to fight Becky for the title, yeah it was the Raw championship and my husband and I were supposed to be Smackdon but it was the match I wanted and I was getting it. I was so happy for her and Colby, they had just let it be known he had proposed to her, something we had known for a few weeks. They went to Hawaii and he asked while they were hiking on the beach. She had called me a bit later both of them happily smiling. I got changed jumping as Lina walked in.
"You scared the fuck out of me." I said laughing.
"Sorry, damn for a woman who just gave birth 7 weeks ago your body is fire."
"You really think so, I feel fat."
"You aren't, I'd tap it." She said as we both started laughing. "So big head said I should talk to you."
"About what."
"You feeling guilty about the kids, bad I'm watching them. Sit." She said, hitting the spot on the edge of the bed next to her. I tossed my shirt on and sat down. "Jayla, I don't want you to feel bad about the fact that I am watching them. I feel so blessed and appreciative that Joe and you trust me enough to help out Maria, Lisa and Rebecca. I'm glad we are close enough of a family that Jojo can be around her sibling whenever she'd like. There are so many families that kids only see each other on occasion because there is some unnecessary beef. I have no issue watching them for you and I never will, as far as I'm concerned it takes a village, you and Joe are providing an amazing life full of opportunity for each of them and the family as a whole, myself included and I thank you for that. I thank you for not being crazy and hostile, for taking care of my daughter like she's your own and letting me do the same, you have easily become one of my best friends. Don't ever feel bad about the situation we have. But when you get some down time lets take a trip, just us girls, me you Trin, Kecia, Sarona."
"Deal, and thank you."
"Babygirl." I looked up as Derek walked in, his head bending as he kissed Lina. "I'm gonna head to the store and get dinner then Joe and I are getting the kids, anything you ladies want?"
"Wine." Lina said. Derek looked over at me
"What's for dinner?"
"I got some chicken and shrimp marinating now I just need to go grab some veggies and salad, get me and my boy some beer."
"Be safe."
"Always, you ladies have fun"
