Jacob P.O.V.
Its been a week. Ever since we made our speech, school has been way better. Well I can't take the credit because Mya talked and I wimped out but people have been respecting us both lately. I haven't seem Justin or Jade around. I guess the speech had a bad impact on them. Mya's words really impacted me as well.
"I didn't know you wrote a speech.", I told her during that day.
"I didn't.", she responded.
Anyways it was the weekend and Mya invited me over to her house since her mom was gone. I was ecstatic because well I kind of liked her. At first I considered her as a friend but that speech just made my feelings grow. And I just couldn't help but admire her curves when she walked.
'Snap out of it Jacob!', I muttered to myself.
I dressed in my Adidas, jeans, and short with pins on it. I love pins.
"Bye mom!", I shouted.
"Bye baby!", she replied.
I walked out of the door into the cool morning.
Mya P.O.V.
I couldn't wait for Jacob to come. Every since my speech school has been amazing. I even have friends but none can compare to Jacob. Tomorrow I would go back and I didn't have a feeling of dread. My grades have improved slowly but I know I will improve. I frequently checked the window for an Afro. I was so apprehensive. Is it me or has Jacob become so much more attractive since the assembly? I guess it's just me. There was a knock at the door. Just to double check, I peeped in the peep-hole and the his Afro. I gradually opened the door.
"Hey Afro puff.", I said smiling. I hugged him and he hugged back.
"Someone's smilie today.", he said laughing.
I laughed too and gestured for him to come in.
We went to my room and sat down.
Jacob P.O.V.
As we walked up the stairs I couldn't help but admire Mya's body as she moved. We walked into her room and sat on her bed.
"It's unbelievable.", she said.
"What?", I asked even though I had an idea of what she was talking about.
"What's happened Jacob. It's unbelievable.", she said cheesing.
"Mya that was a week ago. Every time we get together that's all you talk about.", I said laughing.
"Ok Mr. Bossy. So where do you think Jade and Justin are?", she asked.
"I don't know. Probably sulking at how horrible they looked. You were amazing though.", I said scooting closer.
"What do you mean?", she asked.
"The speech.....your speech. I was afraid of what I wanted to do and you took over. You are truly amazing.", I said.
"Thanks Jacob but this was your plan.", she said.
"Oh don't be so modest Mya.", I said scooting even closer.
"I'm not but I mean come on Jacob. Life has been so much better and that's all that matters.", she said smiling.
I did everything in my power not to kiss her lips. I had to restrain myself from biting her lips off.
"So Mya listen. Uh I didn't wanna be stuck inside all day so I wanted to take you somewhere."
"Really. Jacob that's so sweet.", she said blushing.
"Yea well. You know how I do.", I said popping his imaginary collar.
"Your so stupid.", she said laughing.
"Well I need to get dressed.", she said.
"Ok.", I said.
She just stood there.
"I said okay. Go get dressed.", I said.
"Jacob are you stupid or something?", she said laughing.
"What?", I asked dumbfounded.
"Well let me spell it out for you. This....is MY room. My closet is in my room. I'm in my room. Therefore I need to change in my room. And your in my room. I repeat I need to change in my room.", she said.
"Uh Mya you didn't spell that out for me.", I said laughing.
"Jacob.....OUT!", she said firmly.
"Fine. Fine Miss Hostile. I was hoping you'd put on a show for me but fine.", and with that I left the room leaving her dumbstruck.
Mya P.O.V.
As I got dressed in my shorts, Hello-Kitty tank top, and Vans, I thought of what Jacob said.
'Put on a show for him?'
He doesn't think I'm a slut right? I decided to ask him about it later and didn't think about it much. I mean, a lot of guys are freaks so it should be normal I guess. I don't know. This is all so new to me. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs.
"Ready chicka?", he asked.
"Jacob. What the hell is wrong with you?", I said laughing but a lot creeped out.
"What do you mean?", he asked.
"Ok first of all you said for me to put on a show for you. Now your calling me chicka. What's gotten into you.", I said laughing. I didn't say I didn't like it but I just didn't want to be creeped out by him.
"Nothing.", he said nonchalantly.
I decided to drop the subject.
"So where are we going?", I asked.
"Shopping.", he said casually.
"Sorry I don't know what men wear.", I said.
"Not for me. For you!"
"Really?! Oh Jacob that's so sweet. But I don't have money.", I said disappointed.
"I'm already going to pay for you.", he said.
"Oh Jacob. Your making me feel guilty. I need to pay you back some how."
"Don't worry about it. It's alright."
I hugged him.
"Thanks Jake."
"No problem. It would be an improvement anyways to what your wearing.", he said laughing.
I raised my eyebrows at him.
"Excuse you!", I said laughing.
"I kid. I kid. You look gorgeous."
"Thanks.", I said.
Jacob took me to Forever 21. It was only a block way so we walked. He bought me a lot and I don't know where he got all that money. After shopping, he took me out for some ice cream.
"Thanks Jacob. I appreciate this.", I said.
"It's no problem Mya."
We continued to talk when in the middle of my sentence, Jacob stopped me abruptly.
"Is that who I think it is?", he asked.
I looked in the direction he was pointing at.
"Jade?"
