Todd's POV
"Mate, have you pranked your girlfriend yet?" Max asks me as I frown, "What? Of course not." I say making all the guys roll their eyes. "Bro! You need too. It's hilarious. We've all done it mate, you also need too." Max says making me roll my eyes, "But why? I don't exactly see the point." I say making all of them laugh, "Its funny and it starts a prank war which makes the relationship that much make fun." Ben says.
I nod, "Alight then, what should I do?" I ask them as they sit still and in silence, thinking if a perfect prank. "Oh I know! Classic flour in the hair drier." Ben says but everyone shakes their head, "Boring! Do something that will shock her." Max says as they continue to think. "Mate, prank her by breaking up with her." Max says as everyone nods except for me, "Don't you think that's pushing it?" I question but they all shake their head.
"She knows how much you love her so it will be a shock and then you just say it's a joke and then you all laugh." Ben says as I nod, "Fine. I'll see what I can do." I say making all of them clap, "You have to video it." Max says as I nod, "Will do so." I say as we hear our names being called for training.
Y/N POV
I arrive home seeing all the lights on, indicating Todd was home. I sigh and take my shoes off, just wanting to cuddle with Todd in the couch after such a bad day at work. Not only did I get absolutely shat on by my boss but I was threatened with my position, almost getting fired for not doing something good enough although their good enough wasn't achievable.
I walk upstairs and see Todd sitting with his head in his hands. Maybe he had as bad of a day as me. "Hey babe. You alright?" I ask as I go to sit next to him. But him standing up makes me stop as I stare into his emotionless eyes, "We need to talk." He says making my heart drop. "Ab-about what?" I stutter, scared of what he has to say. "We need to break up." He says plainly making my heart shatter into a million pieces.
"Why?" I ask, feeling tears well up in my eyes. "I don't know. I'm just not happy." He says with a simple shrug. "Seriously? You're gonna end things like this?" I question as he nods, "Well, I guess so." He says making me roll my eyes. "Guess my days gotten worse, huh?" I say as I turn on my heels and walk down the stairs.
I ignore my name being caked as I slip my shoes on and walk straight out of the house, not wanting to be near him. "Baby! Wait! It's a prank!" He shouts but I ignore him, not believing a word his says. I eventually feel his hand on my shoulder, spinning me around to look him in the eyes, "It's a prank. It's a prank. Please don't go." He begs me as he pulls me into a tight hug.
"A prank?" I question as he nods his head. I scoff, "That's not a prank Todd! A prank is scaring me behind the shower curtains or putting hair dye in my shampoo bottle, not breaking up with me!" I shout at him in front of all our neighbors. "I'm so sorry. I didn't think it would end up like this." He says, tears welling up in his eyes. I decided to use this to my advantage and get him back.
I shake my head, "You know what, maybe it's best we do end things." I say as I see his facial expressions drop, "No, baby please." He says as tears start falling down his face. I look down and shake my head, trying my hardest not to laugh but to no success. I look up at him whilst laughing, "See it's not that funny, huh?" I question him with a raised eyebrow. He lets out a sigh of relief as he pulls me into a tight hug.
I wrap my arms around his waist as I hear him cry in the crook of my neck, "That really wasn't nice." He says after a few seconds of silence making me scoff, "You started it!" I exclaim making him chuckle. "True but that was heartless." He says making me roll my eyes. "Let's go inside and cuddle. I had a shit day and then my boyfriend tries to break up with me. You're so considerate." I say making him shake his head, "I didn't know you had a shit day." He says as we walked back inside.
We both sit down on the couch as he pulls me close to him, "You're lucky I love you. I would've dumped your ass if you were another guy who did that too me." I say making him chuckle. "Guess I'm the luckiest man in this world." He says as he looks down at me. I smile and kiss his lips, "Oh, by the way. It's on." I say with a smirk as he chuckles at me, pulling me closer so we can cuddle and watch random shows on TV.
