Taylor

"Where do you think they put him?" Prince asks as I peek around the corner and smack my back against the wall again when I saw an Agent. There were thousands of them. This place disgusted me. Taking people from messed up lives and promising a productive one. But in reality... putting us in even more hell than we in were before. Division has made us all into killers. Psychopaths. I was gazing off at the stainless white floor as I felt eyes starring at me. Looking up my eyes met Prince's and he gave me a awkward smile. I mumbled a small "Sorry" before glancing back down the hall and speaking. "The only reason they'd want Birkhoff is for Intel. So the only place he'd be, is in one of the many interrogation rooms in D.H." "D.H is at the total other side of the building. We won't be able to walk past recruits and Agents. Especially you, Taylor. Everyone knows who you are." Demi mentions. I roll my eyes at the last comment. "Well... what if we look like recruits again?" I ask, eyeing the set of recruit lockers across the hall. "What?" She asks, following my gaze.

I bite my lip and  sprint across the hall. I walk to the lockers and open one of them. Thankfully it was a males locker. I take out the recruit uniform and throw it across the hall to Princeton, watching him catch it piece by piece hurriedly. I look in the other one and take every piece of clothing I could find and run back to them. I put the clothes down and search through them. I find a pleated tan skirt and suck my teeth. "Yours." I immediately say, throwing it to Demi. I hand her a white polo shirt and then I take the Khaki pants and white button down. I slipped them over my skinny jeans and Demi slipped her skirt on over her jeans then pulled them down. As we both put our shirts on Prince starred at his clothes like they had eyes and were starring back at him. "What's wrong?" Demi asked him. laughing a little. He didn't say anything. He simply looked at me and blushed. I held in a laugh. "He doesn't want me to see his lovely body." I whisper to her, loud enough for him to hear before we both turn around.

"You've never seen his..." Demi asked into my ear as I tapped my foot and waited for him to change. I tried to hold a laugh, only for it to come out sounding like a fart. "Of course not!" I whisper. "We've only been going out a day Demi. And most of that day I was unconscious." She nods in agreement. "Is he a good kisser?" She asks giving me an encouraging smile. "What's up with the questions?" I ask. "Eh, well. So much things have been happening, we haven't had much time to fangirl about your new relationship." She says, shrugging. That's why I love Demi. She's such a material girl. She helps me get away from the terrible thought of reality and just fantasize a bit. "Trust me. We'll have all the time we want. As soon as we get Birkhoff then leave this hell h-" "Done." Prince said from behind us. I turned around and smiled, tucking my hair behind my ear. I almost forgot how good he looked in a uniform. "Okay, Taylor-Taylor stop drooling and tell us what to do next." Demi said, nudging me. I snapped out of it and pretended to wipe drool from my lip. "Oh, oh sorry..." I laugh, fixing Prince's tie. "Anyways. We'll have to sneak past the security and get to around where the gym is and work our way from there." "Ray and Prodigy." Prince says quietly. He was starring at the ground, thinking-- probably. "What about them?" I ask. "Can we bring them with us? I can't just leave them here." He says looking at me, with suddenly intense, pleading eyes. I stayed silent for a second, then Demi spoke. "What if we don't find them? Who knows where-"

"I'm going to check down Corridor 6. I thought I heard sounds there earlier."

Demi's mouth shut and her eyes widened. Suddenly I heard a gun load behind me and Prince and Demi in front of me raised their hands in surrender. "Who are you three?" A firm voice said from behind me. I quickly turned around and elbowed who ever was behind me. He aimed his gun towards my face but I grabbed it and pushed it away. He was stronger than me. By now the gun was pointing at my shoulder. I quickly let go and smacked his arm, flipping my leg over I hopped on top of him. "Help me." I said, looking up between my already messed up bangs at Prince and Demi just standing there. Prince immediately grabbed the gun out the guys hand and pointed it at him as Demi gave him a quick blow to the face making him tumble over. I got up and panted. "Thanks alot." I mumble. "We didn't think you needed help." Demi said laughing. "We didn't think you needed help," I mimicked her in a annoying, girly tone. "We can't shoot him. It'll echoe through out the entire building, thousands of them will be here in seconds." Demi said. "Then what are we gona do," Prince said lowering the gun. I rolled my eyes and lifted my leg. Bashing my foot against his neck I heard a snap right before he flew to the floor. "Agent... Agent 46... you there? Agent 46. Are. You. There?" I heard his earpiece sound. "I'm on my way."

I sigh, grab both their hands and run. I stop when I hear different footsteps. He came from behind a wall and grabbed me by my neck. "Taylorina Montgomary?" He asked with wide eyes. I only coughed as his scarred look turn into a look of cold hatred and his grip on my neck grew tighter. Suddenly he slammed me into the wall and punched me in the stomach. I gasped for air repeatedly as he began to choke me again. My hands were  wrapped around his but I couldn't manage to brake his grasp. Demi was fighting off another guard and another had Princeton pinned down. All of a sudden I heard a blatant gun shot...

The blood in my face froze and my heart dropped. Princeton... I held my breath long enough to reach my head over to see he wasn't the one shot. Prince had shot the guy fighting him. He pushed the limp body off of his and shot the guy dead smack the head that was choking me. My throat throbbed and I sunk to my knees as he fell beside me. He shot the guy fighting Demi and wiped the blood that was dripping from his bruised cheek. "Taylor a-are you okay?" He asked running toward me. There was already a black and purple ring around my neck and I was now hyperventilating. "They're gona be coming. We gotta go. Now." Demi breathed walking over to us. I coughed up some blood as they starred at me. "Oh my god..." Demi said covering her mouth. "We gotta get away from here." Prince mumbled picking me up and turning down the hall. I closed my eyes and coughed again. "A room. Come on, we could hide in here." I opened my eyes as Prince sat me down in the dimly lit room. My throat stung as my heart beat sped rapidly in my chest. I think he shattered my lungs or something. Prince starred at me, biting his lip worriedly. I only looked away. He suddenly hugged my softly, being extra careful not to hurt me. Every time I was hurt it seemed like he'd go into a slight depression and the only way he felt he'd slightly help is with a hug. Which, was mostly true. Everytime he'd hug me I'd develop a tingly feeling in my stomach or chest that I only feel with certain people. Specifically people I love. He quickly got up and paced around pulling his hair nervously. "Prince she's gona be okay." Demi said to calm him down before scooting over to me. "Can you speak?" Demi asked me softly. I swallowed a huge lump in my throat and nodded. I then slowly got up and wiped my chin. "I-" I breath but the sharp pain in my lungs increased. "I'm o-okay." He really must have wanted me dead. And if Prince didn't save me when he did... I probably would have been. "Are you s-" "Yes." I said trying to sound like a normal person but ending up sounding like a tortured frog. I held my throat softly and bent over as blood dripped from between my teeth. "T-Taylor are you sure your okay?" Prince asked, starring at me. I took a deep breath as Demi walked to the door and looked through the shades. "Yes. I'm okay. We have to hurry..."

I knew Prince had known I was trying to draw less attention to myself because I didn't want him to worry. But that seemed to worry him more. Every now and then blood would seep back up my throat and I'd make a weird noise. And I bet the ring around my neck wasn't looking any hotter either. "Let's split up." Demi suggested but I immediately denied the request. "No. We're not splitting up." "Taylor, that's the only way all three of us are gona sneak past the agents out there." She said looking at me. "No."

"Princeton?" She asked looking at Prince, hoping he'd agree. He just let out a distant sigh and kicked some dust on the floorboards. "Then I'll do it, all alone." She said folding  her arms. I rolled my eyes and stopped her from turning the doorknob. "No. What if one of you gets hurt? What if an agent shoots one of you or something?" "We're just as much of a good fighter as you Taylor!" "Yeah, and I almost just got CHOKED to death. And I would have been dead if Prince didn't save me! These aren't recruits, these are Agents. They are stronger than us. We need to stay together!" I almost scream. "We can't! Taylor it's okay! We don't need you protecting us all the time!" She yelled before Prince shot up and covered both our mouths. "Stay quiet! Geez!" He whispered. "Taylor-" Demi began but I cut her off. "Okay! We'll split up Demi!" I whispered loudly. Suddenly her every emotion changed from mad and defiant to happy and glad. "Yay. Babe, who'll go first?" She asked. I bite my lip and shrug as I wrap my hand around the doorknob. "I guess me. We all meet at Division Headquarters. Got it?" I ask. They both nod and watch me intensely. "Be safe..." I add turning around. If any of them were ever hurt, I'd die.

Birkhoff

"TELL ME WHERE SHE IS!" Amanda yelled for the 100th time before the Agent punched me again. I was sweating through my shirt and jeans and my eyes were probably bloodshot. "No..." I mumble before spiting out blood onto the floor in front of me. "What did she do? Huh?" She finally asked after composing herself. I gave her a confused look, surprisingly, because right now, all I felt was rage. "Did she bribe you, threaten you... seduce you? What is it?" She nearly yelled, raising her hand to the soaked hairs on my forehead and jerking them quickly, bringing me closer to her face. The Agent beside me raised his fist again before being stopped by my smug voice. "No need to continue, Sir." I say before turning to her again and raising an eyebrow. "You need me. You do remember the millions of Morse codes I still have to figure out to get Percy's little ol' black box back? Or the whole entire technology field of Division that's controlled by... Me? Or did you forget?" I ask as the side of my swollen face throbbed. She starred back at me with cold, black eyes. After a few seconds passed she slowly approached me again. "I can kill you... if I want." She said slowly through gritted teeth. Her pale eyes nearly broke me. She smiled a bit before backing up. She pulled a small black machine towards me and walked to her table which held the white gloves she slipped on. "This cranial needle is designed to remove brain tumors. Untold patients love it. Instead of taking solitary risks it's simply inserted from the nose, of course those patients were unconscious during the procedure..." She smiles, before continuing. "I'll be puncturing the ceral vinyl membrane to access your frontal lobe where I'll administer the paralytic, soon after your most prized possession; your mind, will whither and die." She says, bringing the machine closer to me and griping the lever on the contraption. I shook my head as I stared at the ground. "Your a psychopath."

I bit my lip and tossed my head back as she walked away, picking  up some tape. "You used to be such a selfish creature. You've mutated into something entirely different. Your a puzzle Seymore and I'm going to solve it." She mumbled before smashing my head to the back of the black steel chair and taping it several times, squishing the sores and bruises on my forehead and skull.

Taylor

Where the hell are they? I'm so not playing if they aren't here in- "Taylor!" I heard Prince's voice yell, but I didn't see him. "Prince? Where are you?" I whisper, "There's recruits down Hall Extension B4. Don't come from there." I say hoping he hadn't already. "We didn't." He said as his head fell upside down before me. I stared at his caramel face as it dangled from who knows where and his curls did a little dance below him. I followed his body up, all the way up to a vent above as Demi's head popped up also. He smacked his lips across my cheek before reaching himself back up and dropping his legs, then the rest of his body, then Demi did the same. "How'd you- Why did you- Wha- But- Huh?" I ask. "There were Agents everywhere when it was my turn, then we found a vent. And yeah, we're here." Demi explained. I stared at her for a sec before turning my attention to the D.H door before us. "Help me open this?" I ask, shoving my fingers in between and pulling as hard as I can. They had turned off all the electricity besides the lights it seemed because all of the automatic doors where closed shut, far from budging. Demi pushed her fingers in between and helped me as Prince walked off. I hadn't noticed until I hear a loud bang. "What the fuck?" I almost yelled turning towards him. The sound wasn't a gun shot, or a punch, it was just annoying and repetitive. He had taken an announcement board off the wall and was kneeing it in half. Why? Don't ask me. "What... are... you doing?" Demi asked as she continued to pull the doors open. "This'll help us," He said, bringing the skinny piece of wood over to us. I looked at him weirdly but soon caught on to what he was doing. Pretty smart.

He pushed it in between both doors and handed it to me before getting behind me and gripping it also. Demi held in front of me and all three of us pulled like our lives deepened on it. The doors opened slightly and we all let go. The doors quickly clapped shut. "Fuck, those doors are... heavy." Demi mumbled panting as she blew the crease in her palm. I looked at the shirt wrapped around mine and winced  just looking at it, the blood now soaked the whole piece of clothing, the white T-Shirt was now dark red.

Once again we all took our places and pulled again.

Birkhoff

"Please, please, please, PLEASE don't do this! Please, I can help you, there are other black boxes that you need me to decrypt. I'm the engineer." I plead. "Tell me her location." She said, pulling the pointed object closer to me. My breathing hitched and I starred at it. "What is it about Taylor huh? Why are you so taken with her?" She spat. "Please, don't do this."

"I mean you must know Jacob is first in line." My pleads began to turn into cries as the needle pointed at the shaft of my nose. "She'd never see you that way." She murmured, her hot breath coating my bloody face with unwanted warmth. The device began to enter my nose, pinching the upper skin as my body twiched. "STOP! STOP! STOP! STOP!" I shrieked.

Taylor

"We're in!" I speak gladly as the doors fully opened by our force. I ran in and picked up the nearest phone, knowing the other door; to the interrogation rooms was locked. "What are you doing?" Prince asked me, placing his hand on mine. "Both of you, go back up that vent. I'm about to broadcast something." "What? No your not. If you do that the whole building will know your in here." He explained. "I know... Prince, I have to do this quick. Go, in the vent, now. Go!" "No, Taylor. They'll kill you if they get in here. I'm not leaving and your not touching this phone." He said, picking it up and slamming it down just before hopping on the desk and sitting on it. "Prince! Stop!" I scream. "Taylor, he's right. We're not leaving you." Demi chimes in. "Yeah. Says the one who wanted to split up anyways." I spit, rolling my eyes and walking towards the black door blocking the way to where Birkhoff was. I kicked, screamed, punched, pushed, and nearly cried trying to slam the door down but none of the above worked. Prince walked up to me and wrapped his arms around my body before holding me in place, preventing me from any movement. "Prince. Let me do it. Please. Birkhoff can't die. It'll be all my fault. I promise. Nothing will happen to me, I just have to do it." By now he had let me free and I stared at him before laying my head on his chest. He stayed quiet for a while. I was soon about to brake down when he finally spoke. "I'm staying then. We're all staying." He mumbled.

I sighed and nodded before quickly picking up the phone. "What do I say?" I mouth to Demi, starring at the walls and playing with her nails. She smiled and took the phone from my hands, before pressing 'broadcast'.

Birkoff

I was falling in and out of consciousness when a huge screech filled the room.

"Hey, everyone. It's Demetria. Birkhoff, if your alive I know your being tourchured and tell that son of a bitch to stop and open the door to the interrogation rooms so they can get a piece of me. And by the way, Taylor and Prince are with me."

I'm assuming, Demi said; in a preppy girly voice. I rolled my eyes as she giggled at the end. They couldn't have done that QUICKER? Amanda immediately jumped off of me and screamed to the top of her lungs making the machinery in her hands shake and coil. "SHE'S HERE!?!?" Amanda screamed. No matter how much pain I was, this was slightly amusing to me, but the fact that I was loosing blood like a wild maniac was sort of distracting me. "Bandage him the fuck up," She screamed at the Agent beside me before kicking my chair and turning around, strutting through the door.

Taylor

The doors behind me slowly opened I stepped toward them, expecting little ol' Birkhoff to fly out of them but something totally different did.

My smile immediately faded and fists clenched. That is not who I think it is...

"Your not the only one who survives things."

My face probably displayed about five emotions within the one second it took to realize who it was. Sadness, depression, anger, shock, and revenge.

She stepped one foot on the black lining of D.H and I tackled her down. Bashing her face in with my fists I nearly pulled her eyes out their sockets. I immediately felt Prince's hands around my arms, pulling me back but there was no use. "YOU FUCKING BITCH!" I scream in her face as I elbow her face, agian and again. She grabs me, flipping me over; slamming my head into the floor. "That's right. I killed your dumb family... What? Gona kill me? Gona kill me like you killed Elenor? Like you killed all those guards? Like you killed hundreds of more people?! Your the killer! NOT ME!" She shrieked before pinning my hands down beside me. I hadn't noticed the tears pouring so quickly from my eyes. All I wanted to do was kill. Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill her. Kill Percy. Kill every recruit, Agent, anyone that was in my way. I threw her off me and slammed my fist into her stomach. Grabbing a scissor off the tech desk beside me I stabbed her. In her arms, legs, face, and stomach.

I had gone insane. "YOU KILLED MY FAMILY, YOU STUPID BITCH!" I yelled in her face. Blood was everywhere. Demi was holding Prince back from stopping me and I was crying and yelling. Prince finally got out of Demi's grasp and ran towards me. "TAYLOR STOP!" He screamed. He pulled me off her and into his chest. "It's okay, shh, it's okay." He tried to comfort me, but at this point it was stupid. I wanted revenge. I just wanted her dead. "S-S-S-SHE K-KILLED TH-TH-THEM!" I cry. He slowly took the scissors out of my shaking hands and placed them down next to him. "Taylor calm down. Just calm down. I understand."

I closed my eyes and bawled. I cried uncontrollably into Prince's chest.

Minutes past and I was still crying, probably more than before.

Suddenly I heard a muffled sound from Amanda. I slowly looked up and she wasn't there. Looking quickly around the room I saw her limping slowly to Demi. She was facing the other direction, looking at the collection of guns on the shelves that was behind her. I stared at Amanda through the blurry tears blocking my view and noticed the scissors in her hands. "DEMI!!" I scream before Amanda jabs it into her back. I fly to my feet and run to her. "NOOO!" I shriek. Amanda moved, backing up with a small laugh before collapsing. I catch Demi before she fell. I dropped to my knees as Prince ran over. "NO. NO. NO. NO." I mumble lowly to myself. "NO!" I cry leaning forward into her chest. "Oh my god, no," Prince whispered, as blood gushed from her center and the scissor plunged deeper into her as she layed on it, facing us. "D-D-Demi, no, no, no," I cry leaning my head back. "No...." I breath before entirely braking down. I fell forward and cried, just cried. I shook uncontrollably covered my face with my hands. "No, no, no, no, no, no," I mumble over and over. No... She can't be. No... She can't be. "Oh my god, oh my fucking god," I whisper looking up, hoping it was all just a dream and I was just knocked in the head really hard. But this was real. My family was dead, Birkhoff probably was also, and now... Demi is. I get up and run towards the door.

I'm done. "Taylor!" Prince yelled running after me, preventing me from opening it. "What are you doing!"

"I'm leaving. I'm fighting. I can't do it anymore Prince. I c-can't." He starred at me. I didn't have time to try and figure out what he was thinking but I know he knew what I meant. If I set foot out there I'd be dead within seconds. And that's just what I want. "You don't want that." He barely whispered. "Yes, I do Prince. I... I can't take it anymore. I'm s-sorry..." I cry, looking down. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and pulled me into his chest. "Taylor, it's okay. Everything's all gona be okay. Just-Just... Don't leave me... Please..."
