it's the end of lunch, and we all get up to throw away our trash. as i get up to throw mine away, noah throws may's trash away along with his. they were talking the entire lunch, about theater, scenes, and other random stuff they had in common. apparently may has a twin brother! just like noah has a twin sister.
after lunch we all leave the cafeteria. i'm the first up to leave, because i don't want to see may and noah hanging out and talking together.
"y/n! wait up!"
i turn around and noah's running up to me.
"y/n, hey why were you so silent at lunch? he asks me
"oh i'm just tired. didn't really sleep well last night" i lie
"oh alright! what class do you have next?"
"stupid math. you?" i say
"same." he says looking at me
i ignore his stare and keep walking. he comes up to my locker, while i grab my stuff out.
"see you at class?" he says
"yeah. see ya" i try to say in a happy tone

"alright class, pull out paper and pen, we're going to be taking notes"
"hey, y/n, can i borrow a pencil?"
i turn around, and noahs sitting right behind me.
"i though you were sitting next to cali?" i ask
"yeah, i wanted to move. so i switched with mckenna" he then winks at me
"you're such a flirt schnapp." i say
"i know" he says pridefully
i give him the pencil
"thanks" he says with a smile
"you're very welcome" i trade a smile back to him.
the rest of the class i was thinking of that conversation. "oh god" i think to myself. "i like noah"
the bell rings and i run out of class to get to my locker.
noah follows up behind me, and hands me my pencil.
"oh, you can keep it." i say
"oh really, thanks!" he says smiling
"yeah, no problem!" i say smiling
he walks off to his locker, but continues to yell,
"see you later y/n!" i laugh, considering how loud he is being.
"see ya!" i yell back.
i walk to my locker, and look at my schedule to see what i have next.
"ugh spanish." i talk to myself.
"heyyyy" mya comes up behind me, scaring me.
"OH MY GOSH YOU SCARED ME" i say a little too loudly.
i look around and see people look at us, but i really don't care.
"sorry" she says
"so... how was math?" she asks
"boring. how was your class?" i ask
"the usual sucky history." she says in an exaggerated tone.
the bell rings.
"comon we gotta to spanish, walk with me?" i ask
"yep!" she says
it's spanish, and me and mya sit next to each other.
"hey, so why were you so quiet at lunch?" she asks me
"i was just tired" i lie again.
"y/n, don't lie to me. seriously what's up? you've been acting weird since noah and may sat with us at lunch."
"i dunno, i felt kinda upset when may and noah were talking." i say
"why? they're just friends."
"i dunno. i also felt a little jealous when may and noah got the main roles in the play. not because i didn't get the roles, cause they have to kiss." i say and feel relieved to let my feelings out
"oh y/n... it's alright. it's just acting, remember? they don't actually like each other."
"i know. thanks for helping" i say with a smile, trying to hide the fact that it didn't help, and it still feels like he likes her.
