my sunshine (noah schnapp x reader)

lunch table

   i walk over to my locker to grab my lunch money. i try to get mya's attention, but she isn't noticing.

   "y/n?"

   i turn around, and it's noah.

   "hey! what's up?" i say

   "you uh, getting lunch?"

   "yeah, i thought i would try cafeteria food for once." i say

   "my mom packed mine. sometimes she still treats me like im in second grade." noah says

   "it's okay, it means she cares for you" i say with a slight smile

   i start to walk off when noah says "do you wanna eat lunch together?"

   "yeah sure!" i say

   he runs up to me, and we walk into the cafeteria together.
   we sit down at a table with mya, and his best friend dylan. i get into the lunch line, and noah joins in.

   "i thought you had packed your lunch?" i say
 
   "yeah, but i decided i didn't wanna eat it." he smiles at me

   we get our lunch, and start to walk back to the table, noah following behind me. i hear a loud crash, and turn around. it's noah, and a girl sitting on the floor. they must have bumped into each other. i quickly run over to help both of them up.

   "oh my gosh, are you guys okay?" i say
 
   "yeah i'm good." noah says
 
  he gets up, and asks if the girl is okay.

   "here, let me help you up" he says

   "thank you" she says with a smile forming around her lips

   "you're that girl from theater, right?" noah says

   "yeah! i'm may." she says

   "nice to finally meet you" noah says

   i don't think he realized but he was blushing. a lot. i try to ignore my jealousy and help clean the mess. as i'm cleaning noah walks her back to the table. our table. i ignore it, and walk back.
  
   i sit down, but i'm silent the whole time.
