my sunshine (noah schnapp x reader)

the fight

yesterday me and noah went skating. it was so fun! i slipped and fell on the ice, but noah was there to pick me up. we got icees, and then after we went for pizza. i can't stop thinking about how much fun we had, it was like-

"y/n? are you listening?" i hear someone say, and they break me out of my thoughts

"uh yeah. wait what are we talking about again?" i ask

"the schnapps cookout on friday night. we're going" my mom says

"okay! sounds fun" i say excited

we get done eating dinner, and i go up to my room to get ready for school.

*ding

i check my phone, and it's noah

so my mom said y'all are coming to the cookout on friday!?

same!!

                                        i have to get ready for

i throw on my pjs, and hop into bed.

                       (time skip to the next day)

i'm walking into school, and i see noah and may standing at noahs locker. they look tense, like they were just arguing or something.

"oh hey y/n" noah says

"what's up guys? you both okay?" i ask

"yep. we're fine" may says looking at noah.

i go into my locker to grab my stuff, and may walks off.

"is she okay?" i ask

"she's fine." noah says dryly

"okay" i say

the bell rings, and noah and i walk into theater. usually may and noah sit together, but they aren't today. weird. so noah sits beside me, and may sits beside another girl in our class. the rest of theater, noah and may aren't really talking, and they seem off around each other.

- time skip to lunch

may didnt sit at the same table as us. somethings wrong. i pull noah aside

"bro are you and may okay?" i ask

"we're fine, why?" he asks

"you guys have been off all day. and you aren't talking, or sitting near each other. what happened?"

"we got in a fight." noah finally admits

"oh. what about?"

"can i tell you later?" he says

"yeah of course"

"okay, let's go sit back down" he says

                           (time skip, after school)

school had just ended, and me and noah were walking home together.

"so. what happened with you and may?" i ask

"she was saying how i spend too much time with you. and since i'm her boyfriend i shouldn't hang out with you. and how it's "weird" noah says

"oh. i'm sorry i didn't know she felt that way" i say

"it's alright."

"are you guys still mad at each other?" i ask

"she says she wants a break from each other."

"i'm so sorry noah"

"y/n, it's okay. it's not your fault" he says

we walk in silence until we get near my house.

"do you wanna come over to mine? we could hang out" noah asks me as i'm walking up to my door

"oh yeah sure, lemme just go and tell my mom" i say as i walk into the house.

"hey mom!?"

"yeah?" she says

"can i go over to noahs house? we wanna hang out" i ask her

"yeah sure! be back before 8 though" she says

"okay thank you!"

i walk out the door, and i see noah waiting on my porch

"let's go" i say

we walk to noah's house, that's just down the street.

                           (time skip, a few hours)

"ugh i have to go back home." i say

"already?"

"yeah it's almost 8. i wish i could stay longer"

"me too. i'll walk you home"

me and noah walk back to my house.

"see you tomorrow" he says smiling

"see ya" i say
