i kept on running and running until i got home. i ran straight into the house while slamming the door behind me.
"y/n?" my mom says as i run upstairs
i run into my room and cry into my pillow. i hear my mom walk upstairs.
"y/n? are you okay?" my mom says in a quiet voice
i look up with tears streaming down my face.
"oh baby what happened?" my mom asks running to me and hugging me
"i uh- *ahem was walking to the ice cream place. and chloe said noah was with dylan, or that's what he told her. but then he was with may and they were kissing" i say through gasps and tears
"oh honey i am so so sorry. have you talked to him"
"no i ran straight home when i saw them"
"i think you should talk to noah" my mom says
"why would i?" i say raising my voice confused.
"ask him why."
"i cant. i cant do it"
"you're gonna have to talk to him sometime baby. do you want me to stay with you?"
"no thanks. i'll just watch tv and cry."
"okay. i am so sorry" my mom says hugging me again
"i'll be downstairs making dinner alright?"
i nod as she walks out my door. monday is the first day of school. oh crap.
(time skip to monday)

i'm walking into school, and i see noah at my locker waiting for me.
"hey sunshine" noah says smiling and kissing me
"hey" i say dryly, and not kissing him back
"are you okay?" noah asks
should i ask him about it or should i wait. you know what i'm just gonna-
"did you cheat on me?" i ask noah almost in tears
"what? why do you think i would cheat on you?"
"cause i saw you noah! i saw you with may." i say with tears streaming down my face, and basically yelling
noah just stares at me with eyes full of regret.
i stare back, quietly crying. i turn around and run to the bathroom where i text mya to come.
(a couple days later)

"ready to go?" mya says as i'm in my bathroom putting on mascara.
"yep" i say walking out
"you okay?" she asks me
"yeah fine." i say trying to smile
me and mya are going to the ice cream place to get my favorite, cotton candy. i know my mom told her too, cause i haven't left my room since monday
after we got ice cream, mya had to go because she had soccer practice. i decide to go to me and noahs old spot at the tree in the park.
"hey sunshine"
"hey noah" i say running to him
"what's this?"
"a picnic." noah says looking in my eyes
"did you bring-"
"yes i brought macrons. and theyre raspberry" noah says
raspberry is my favorite macron flavor.
we sit there talking for an hour or two.
"NOAH- NOAH!" i yell as he throws food at my face
i stare at him with my mouth open in surprise
"i'm gonna get you back" i say as he runs away and i try to catch him
"GOT YOU-
*ring ring
i look at my phone and my moms calling me.
"y/n where are you?"
"i'm at the park" i reply
"please come home now, dinners ready."
"alright" i say hanging up. i jump off the tree and turn around
"hey"
"what are you doing here" i say in an angry tone
"i wanted to sit."
"well lucky for me i have to go so" i say walking past him
"y/n wait" noah says in a sad tone, grabbing my arm
"what do you want?" i yell out tearing up
"i'm sorry. i'm so sorry"
"you're sorry cause i found out. shouldn't you be with may anyway?"
"no i broke things off"
after that we just stare at each other for a couple seconds in silence
"well i have to go so"
