I look over to my side and see chase sleeping
I carefully move over the blanket from on top of me and put it on him as I check the time reading
12:38am Saturday
I put my phone down as I slowly walk back upstairs and into chases room before starting to clean it up

"ellie wake up.." I hear as I feel a gentle shake on my arm
My lashes flutter open as I look up to see chase
"good morning beautiful" he whispers
"chase?" I ask
"yeah I'm here" he says
"oh hi" I say "sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep in here I just got tired" I tell him
"its okay.." he says before pausing
"why did you.. why did you clean my room?" he asks
"I'm sorry if I shouldn't have" I say
"no, its fine but, why?" he asks
"I don't know I felt like you needed it and honestly chase I'm here for you, forever"
"I love you" he says as he leans his forehead on mine
"I love you" I whisper back
