The boys were set to have a stellar year. The Grammys went off without a hitch. They were so proud to share the stage with Lil Nas X, who was openly gay and had still managed to maintain his loyal following in the states and further. The acceptance outweighed any of the negative feedback they had received since sharing their truths.
The boys enjoyed their time in the states, unveiling new works and shooting and releasing new music, it felt like this was their year for sure. They looked forward to their upcoming tour with so much optimism and anticipation. They had many different projects and adventures to finish in the US before heading back to South Korea to prepare for the tour. They got to hang out with two of their favorite late night hosts and experience different things in New York and also California. It was a blast!
To say that they felt like old friends was an understatement. They were kind of disappointed to have to leave and head back right then but the tour wasn't going to prep itself, and besides there was some things going on in the news regarding a virus so management thought it was better safe then sorry and cut the trip short.
That was two months ago. Now the world was fully entrenched in a worldwide pandemic and a tour was looking less and less likely. Having been sequestered in there home for two months the group is literally climbing the walls. Jimin seemed to be itching the most. He really missed ARMY and was devastated by the delay of the tour.
Once again he was in the practice room, where you could find him on most days. Hobi, who was on a mission went looking for him and saw him practicing the intricate choreography for his Black Swan solo.
Hobi: Hey! Jimin-ah, looking good! ARMY is going to be amazed at your dancing.
Out of breath and with sweat glistening on his skin like diamonds, Jimin collapses into a heap at Hobi's feet.
Jimin: Hyung, I'm so frustrated! I feel like I'm doing all of this for nothing. At this rate, ARMY will probably never even see this.
Hobi: Don't worry. We will get to perform again I'm sure of it. You could take this time to rest, or do some projects that you have wanted to do, but didn't have time for.
Jimin: Hyung!! I don't have anything else I want to be doing right now.
Hobi: What about Yoongi?
Jimin: What!?
Hobi: What?
Jimin: Hyung!!
Hobi: I just mean he is really close to dropping his new mixtape. He's working really hard on the tape and the MV. Maybe he could use your help.
Jimin: Hobi Hyung, he doesn't need, or want my help. He's doing fine by his self.
Hobi: Yah! Are you going to tell me what's going on with you two now. I haven't forgotten that day when you were crying to Taehyung and Jungkook. Just because they tried to distract me and change the subject, doesn't mean I forgot. I just chose to let it go at the time.
Jimin: There is nothing to tell. There is nothing going on between us anymore.
Hobi: Yah! Did you guys break up?
Jimin: You can't break up if you were never officially together.
Hobi: What are you talking about? I clearly remember you guys being together.
Jimin: I guess sleeping with someone does not a relationship make.
Hobi: Yah, Jiminah. Don't you think you're being a little harsh right now? Just because you might have had a little argument, doesn't mean that the relationship is over.
Hobi is so focused on getting through to Jimin and getting to the bottom of whatever disagreement the couple had, that he doesn't even notice the distress Jimin appears to be in, having this conversation. He doesn't see the tears gathering in his eyes, or the slight tremor in his chin and hands, until it's too late.
Jimin: Hyung!! I don't want to talk about this!! He doesn't want me! He never did! He never loved me! It was only me, who was in love! By myself!
So please, Hyung, just let it go!
That being said, Jimin abruptly leaves the room, much to Hobi's chagrin. He tried to grasp the boys arm, but he is shaken off.
Hobi: Jimin-ah! Don't go! I'm sorry!
But he's too late, Jimin has already left the room. Leaving Hobi very confused, and even more determined to get to the bottom of this issue and help his friends. His first stop is going to be Suga's studio.
As he heads to the studio, be wonders what Yoongi's side of the story will be. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding.
He knocks on the door when he reaches it and waits for Yoongi to let him in.
Hobi: First this pandemic. And now this. I refuse to sit back and let them be hurt like this. I need to talk to Suga. He has some explaining to do.
The door opens and Yoongi pokes his head out and upon seeing Hobi, Grant's him entry.
Yoongi: Hey, what are you doing here?
He proceeds to go back to his mixing board, gesturing for Hobi to have a seat.
Hobi: Yah, Hyung. Do you want to explain to me why Jimini is crying and saying that you don't want him?

I'm so stressed out by this crazy election here in the USA. I don't think you guys know how important this election is. I am an African American woman living in the USA. There is so much going on in my country. Between Covid-19, The racial division and the current "President" doing nothing about any of it. But causing more division and misinformation, this election is a matter of life or death for us. Please keep us in your prayers, as I will keep you all in mine.
