Y/n POV
I start to head back to cocoas house, hoping that I can get back before her family wakes up. I kick at the leaves around my feet as I walk. My phone rings and I raise it up to take a glance at the screen. Hobi's name shows up and I press answer before bringing the phone up to my ear.
Me: hey hobi, what's up?
Hobi: hi RG
He pauses for a second.
Hobi: I asked if you'd go out with me earlier...
Me: yeah?
Hobi: maybe we shouldn't do that.
Me: why not?
Hobi: I don't know, I just don't want to anymore.
Me: hobs, that's not a real reason.
Hobi: ... you don't want to go.
Me: what are you talking about?
Hobi: you said you didn't really care to go on a date.
Me: Yoongi told you this?
He hesitates but it's enough for me. I know the answer.
Me: he's right. I don't care to go. I don't care about a lot of things. That can change. Change it. I don't care. Make me care, hobs.
He stays quiet.
Me: hobi, I don't like or dislike you. I'm a fan of you as an artist and as the person I know you as on screen. As a person I'm only neutral. Change my mind. If this is a problem for you, it's a problem, fix it. Simple as that.
I pull the phone away from my ear and press the end call button. I look up and see cocoas house. I pocket the phone before going in.
