"I can feel you staring", Leo mutters without looking up from his desk.
"I - uh-", Ray flushes at being caught but doesn't stop staring.
"Why do you stare anyway?", he turns around to face Ray sitting at the edge of the bed.
Ray looks at Leo fully - his crystal clear green eyes, his perfect crew cut hair. His eyes dart to Leo's lips and back at his eyes, eyes staring at him with fondness he has never known before. And maybe because of that Ray involuntarily opens his mouth,
"I like you."
Ray watches as Leo's eyes grow a little wide, his eyes however, never lose his fondness.
"Oh", Leo says, before turning back around and focusing again on the papers on his desk.
Ray sits quietly before he can't take it anymore and then gets up and reaches for the door of the room, all in one motion. "I'll better go then", Ray says to no one in particular because Leo is too busy to even look up.
