Taehyungs POV
Jungkooks mother started calling us down for breakfast when I get a call
I stop in the hallway to take out my phone
Incoming call- smol boi🍑
Jungkook looks at me and before he could ask who is it I answer
"It's jimin sorry, I'll come down in a second ok" he nods and continues walking and I walk back into his room and answer the phone
"Sup Chim"
"Nothing I just want to see what you've been up to"
"No you don't you wanna tell me something otherwise you would've texted me"
"Can you read minds?!"
"I can when it's yours, youre a very predictable midget"
"And your a bitch... Well anyway yoongi spoke to me today, I was really scared he hated me after I kissed him at the party and he's been really quiet since but he asked me if I wanted to go out with him later and I obviously said yes which means he doesn't hate me but I still can't figure out why he hasn't spoke to me in a week but I never really tried to speak to him either so maybe he thought i was ignoring him. Also have you spoken to namjoon and jin, all they've been doing is staying in the dorm every day and besides classes I never see them, I honestly didn't think jin was able to to be around joon for longer then 10 minutes, you know how he gets when joon brakes some thing or does literally anything that pisses off jin, and now there spending every day together something just doesn't add up also yesterday I went to there dorm and I heard a loud noise and I thought jin had punched joon or something and when I went to walk in the door was locked which is strange cause they NEVER lock there door, I found that out the hard way when I walked in on namjoon naked with some girl. Do you think there hooking up I mean I know I've shipped them together for ages and that might cloud my judgment and that joon claims he's straight and that jin hates joon but how else could you explain it" he says in the span of 30 seconds
"Jimin?"
"Yes" he says innocently
"Don't take this the wrong way but shut the fuck up my ears hurt"
"I'm sorry... I just had to get it out"
"First thing... he probably thought you hated him and didn't want to make things worse also I'm happy you two are finally going out on a date." Jimin told me everything about the party and I'm not gonna lie I'm kinda proud he finally did something, he's liked the older boy for what feels like forever
"Second thing... I doubt there hooking up, you know how much namjoon annoys jin, there's probably a good reason for why they've been in their dorm everyday and no I haven't spoken to either of them, I've tried to call jin a couple times but it went straight to voicemail"
"Oh... ok... How's jungkook"
"He's good, I met his friend, bambam, last night"
"Woah he got other friends"
"I was kinda shocked too" I say laughing
"I'm surprised you even went with him, I thought you hated him"
"I didn't actually have anything else I was gonna do and believe it or not he's actually growing on me"
"Should I be jealous? Is he gonna steal my best friend"
"Nah your stuck with me" when I say this my phone starts to ring again
Incoming call- bacon hyung
"I've got to go, baeks calling me"
"Ok byeeeeeeeeeeeee-" I hang up knowing he wasn't going to shut up until I did so
"hi bacon"
"Yeah.. never call me that"
"I'm not gonna stop, anyway how was your date, I was expecting like ten thousand texts from you the minute you came home"
"That's the thing... I only just got home... I kinda stayed the night at chanyeols"
"I knew you'd be a hoe" I laugh
"Shut up tae! At least we went on a date before having sex" hes clearly aiming this at me since I never actually know the people I sleep with

"It was actually really romantic he took me out for a meal and even brought me flowers then we went back to his place and talked for hours" hes starting to sound like a teenage girl from some cheesy movie
"Is my little fuck boy of a cousin falling in love? That's shocking"
"You can't not be annoying for three seconds can you... Enough about me What's been happening with you tell me everything"
"Well yesterday I met jungkooks friend, he's really nice, kinda crazy, a bit like you in that area, oh and jungkook kinda kissed me but I stopped anything more from happening" I've never hidden anything from my cousins so I don't see why I wouldn't tell him this now
"WHAT THE FUCK. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT FIRST"

"And people call me the drama queen of the family." He whispers "I swear that means he's literally the first person you've ever turned down"
"That's definitely not true"
"Ok the first hot guy you've ever rejected then"
"Just don't say anything to anyone ok"
"Ok my lips are sealed"
"Hyung When has that ever been true" I don't think he can actually be quiet for even five minutes
Jungkooks POV
When I reach the bottom of the stairs I see my mum in the kitchen cooking breakfast
"Good morning, I'm making pancakes cause I know how much you like them" she turns around to face her son "Where's Taehyung"
"One of his friends called him, he'll be down soon"
"I hope you two have been getting along ok, and you seemed really happy last night when bambam showed up, I don't know why you stopped talking to your friends"
"Come on, we both know none of them were my friends, they were his, I didn't want to be a burden to them" she turns off the stove and sits at the kitchen counter, opposite me
"You've got to stop thinking like that, they were your friends too, they care about you, you know that he wouldn't want you to be miserable your whole life"
She takes ahold of my hand
"But he's not here anymore is he, and he didn't seem to care enough about me to just leave like he did"
"He was your brother, he loved you"
"Can you please stop saying was!" I take my hand back "you may have gave up on him but I didn't, he's alive, he has to be"
"It's been two years jungkook, it's okay to let go"
"He would never give up on me, and I know he's out there somewhere I don't care if no one believes me"
Our conversation is stopped by the sounds of footsteps coming down the stairs
"Ahh Taehyung, I hope you like pancakes"
