The sunrise beamed slowly over the mountains becoming more and more visible as the minutes passed by. You and George had been sleeping for a long time and it felt as though you would never wake up. You eventually woke up but you had ended up lying in George's warm arms for a while longer. When you eventually tried to make your way out of his embrace he tightened his arms around you. You gave up and laid there for even longer.
Eventually he had gotten hungry and decided to let you go so he could get some food. As you approached the kitchen it seemed the entire Weasley clan was smirking at the two of you.
"Morning mum, what's for breakfast?" George asked his mum as he sleepily walked into the kitchen grabbing the milk out of the fridge and putting some into a cup before looking at you and raising his eyebrows at you to see if you wanted any. You nodded your head and gave a why not face as he poured some milk into another glass shortly after he handed it to you.
"Lunch now." Molly stated as she looked at the two of you. "But it's just macaroni and cheese."
"Sounds delicious Molly. Thank you for lunch." You said looking at her with a smile in which she returned.
Molly yelled that lunch was ready not to long after your conversation and George got up and came back with two bowls one for each of you.
"Why thank you George." You told him gratefully while digging into your dish.
"Of course darling." He said smiling at you, you loved it when he called you darling. You thought it was just one of the cutest things you had ever heard.
Once he was finished eating his macaroni and cheese he stood up and took both of your plates to the sink before his mother pulled him into a room off to the side of the living room.
"I saw you too earlier." She had said smiling at him. This remark had made him turn incredibly red. "Relax I thought it was cute. I'm not some monster of a mother. You act as if you can't breathe around me George Weasley."
After hearing this he immediately felt relief wash over him. Imagine how embarrassing it would have been if she said something else.
"I gave it a though and I decided you two are trustworthy enough to not pull any funny business. But if anything happens I swear to Merlin, no baby George's running around."
And just like that his relief gone in an instant but also still there. He was excited to share a room with you. He would never admit it but he loved cuddles. Especially when you were the one holding him. But also this remark about baby George's had made him turn as red as his hair.
"Mum! Gross." He replied but all she did was shrug her shoulders.
"I doubt you think it's all that gross George."
He had come out of the room still very red but a little less red than before.
"What's wrong love?" You had asked him. You didn't see him very red this often. He was usually the person making others turn red not the other way around.
"Well my mum said we can share a room and that we are trustworthy. But then she said no baby George's were to be running around." He somehow got even more red after this.
Your face had turned red as well you face palmed your face before turning to him and saying.
"Your mom is disgusting."
"I know right that's what I said."
It was a little while later and you and George had moved all your stuff to the twins room and had laid down on the bed.
"About earlier?" You asked
"Mhmm?" He asked.
"It had me thinking."
"Shoot."
"Ok so I was thinking do you ever want to have kids someday. Not soon or anything but some day."
"Well ummmm... I think I would like to. Someday, that is. I think it would be cool to be a dad.
"Me too. Not a dad but a mom." You laughed
You could feel him nod, his chin impressed into your head before falling asleep. You fell asleep as well shortly after but couldn't help but have your mind wander and think about the future.
George would be the best dad and you knew it. Of course this was nowhere near close but somewhere in the future. You thought about him with kids and couldn't help but smile. You didn't want any other future if you could have it any other way you wouldn't. You wanted him in the future and that's what you were going to get.
In two days it would be Christmas Eve. Yet the Weasleys had yet to decorate or anything. If they were a word in the dictionary it would be procrastinate. So much had happened over this Christmas break but it had only been a few days. But you wouldn't change it for the world. You were having more fun than you have had in years over break.
