"Sit the fuck down"I hissed at Liah
Liah sat down at the table and I looked at the waitress "what did she tell you, Isabella?"
Isabella glanced at Liah before smiling at me "she told me she wanted our famous Ropa vieja then I asked her did she want all the vegetables"she said
"What the hell is Ropa vieja?"I asked her
"It is stewed beef and vegetables"She said
"Oh...okay" I nodded
The waitress smiled "what would you like to drink with that?"
"Water will be fine"Liah said
After she took everyone's order she left to go get our drinks.
"I'm sorry for yelling, I could've sworn she said something else to you"I grabbed Liah's hand and kissed it
"Mhm"she mumbled
"You forgive me?"I asked
"Sure"she said
Jania sighed "Kacey please stop"
I looked at Kacey and saw that he was trying to get out of his seat. "Kacey!"
He looked at me with wide eyes "sit down"I said
He poked his lip out and slowly sat back down. Jania glanced at me and smiled "can I talk to you?"
"Go ahead" I shrugged
"Privately"she said
"No"
"Please? It's really important"she asked
I sighed and looked at KD "watch Liah"

I got up and followed Jania into the restroom.
"What the fuck is so important that you had to drag me away front the table?" I asked her
Liah pov
"Did Kentrell really touch you?"Three asked me
"yo, didn't Kentrell say she was just being dramatic? I'm sure she's just stressed...she'll be fine"winked
"She wouldn't just say that out of nowhere"Three said

Three ignored him "Liah...What did he do to you?"

Three nodded slowly "I'm sorry"

I suddenly heard Kacey pouting, he looked like he wanted to cry. He rubbed his eyes and looked at me.
"don't start that crying shit yo mama will be right back. shut up"KD said to him
Kacey continued to pout. I smiled at him "hey Kacey"
He looked at me with a slight frown. "You're mommy just went to go use the bathroom, she's coming right back okay?"
He sniffed and nodded "okey"
KD shook his head "aye little dude you gotta toughen up, men don't cry"

I shook my head and gave Kacey a comfortable smile.
"So...what happened to Boomer and his mom?" I asked
"None of your business! be quiet"KD said
I rolled my eyes and looked down at the table.
"What month are you due Liah?"Three asked
"October"I answered
"You're getting pretty close, its a girl right?"he said
"Yeah"
"I can't believe you're pregnant...let me ask you something, you knew Kentrell for like 4 going on 5 years...you knew this nigga Jahseh for how long? almost a year next month right? so my question is...if you really loved Kentrell...like you said you did why did you leave him? and lose your virginity only a few months after knowing Jahseh? like this shit doesn't make sense to me"KD said
"KD, me and you both know I tried everything in the book to help Kentrell, but he didn't want the help. so why would I stay with a man who abuses me verbally and physically? and as far as me losing my virginity to Jahseh...that was my decision to do so"
KD shook his head "Liah can't you see how happy he is when your around? all before the nigga didn't smile...not once..he's happy with you-"

KD glared at Three "why the fuck you kissing up to her now?"
"I'm not kissing up to nobody, unlike you"

"You've always kissed up to Kentrell..you like his bitch"Three shrugged
"I ain't nobody's bitch, you need to shut up before you get hurt"KD warned
"By you?"Three scoffed
"You should've stayed yo ass in Florida"KD said
Around 10 minutes later Kentrell and Jania finally walked out the bathroom. I squinted my eyes at Kentrell when I notice he was fixing belt.
"They ain't brought our food yet?"Kentrell asked
"Nope, they brought drinks though"KD said
I looked at Jania and saw that she had a hickey on her neck and chest.
Kentrell got comfortable in his seat and grabbed my hand. "You behaved?"he asked
"Well..there was a moment when she raised her voice at me...which I didn't appreciate"KD said
"and I didn't appreciate you winking at me" I said
Kentrell quickly looked at KD "what? you winking at Liah?"
"bruh it's not like that... I was just being friendly"KD raised in hands up in 'surrender'
"you wanna take Liah from me too?"Kentrell clenched his jaw
"No Kentrell I know how you feel about her"
"Good...then you should know I will do anything for her"
"Yes, Kentrell I know that"KD said
"Don't wink at her again, next time I won't let you off so easily"Kentrell said
"Alright man"KD sighed
Jahseh pov
"How far away are we?"I asked
"About an hour, Jahseh be patient"Nahmir said
"I no longer have patience" I said
"Me neither"Stokeley said
Nahmir sighed "Cordae said he's just gonna wait until we get there"
"Good...and when we get there I got Three"Stokeley said
"Don't try to stop me from killing that nigga Kentrell"I said
"Trust me I won't..shit I'll help you"Nahmir said
"Nah, I want him for myself" I said
Nahmir nodded "bet"
"aye y'all sure y'all handled Boomer and his mom?"Jay asked Nahmir and Shawn
"Yeah we handled that"Shawn answered
"Man how the fuck did you hide our weapons on that plane?"Stokeley asked
Nahmir sighed "I told you I have my ways"
"What ways?"
"...I know some people who work for the airlines"Nahmir said
"and they risked their jobs to let you sneak guns on the plane?"Stokeley asked
"They're not risking their jobs"Nahmir said
"They basically are though"Stokeley said confused
"I got it under control bruh, you have nothing to worry about"Nahmir said
"I hope you do"Wifi shook his head
"Hey man let me ask you something...what's Liah's history with Kentrell? cause I really wanna know why he won't let her go"Stokeley asked Nahmir
Nahmir shrugged "like the beginning of any relationship, it was good...but Kentrell became controlling"
"So why won't he leave her alone? what did she do to make him want her so bad?"
"Honestly? I don't know...but I do know that nobody showed Kentrell love until Liah came into his life. The nigga momma barely saw him and his dad has been incarcerated since he was a child. bruh...I remember when he first put his hands on her and she called me crying.."Nahmir shook his head and sighed

July 8th Liah's birthday, 2016
Nahmir's pov
I woke up at 2 am hearing my phone ringing. I got up and grabbed it off my dresser. Seeing Liah's contact I quickly answered.
"Hello?"I answered
"Nahmir? can you please open the door?"Liah sniffed
"you're outside?" I asked
"Yes, please open the door. hurry up"She cried
"Are you crying?" I asked walking out my room
"Just open the door"she said
Once I was at the door, I opened it and Liah flew in the house. "What the hell is going on Liah?" I asked
I then saw headlights from a car pulling in my yard. Liah quickly closed the door and locked it.
"Who is that?"I asked
She slowly turned around and my eyes widened. Her lip and nose was bleeding, her right eye was almost closed. "What happen to your face?"
"Kentrell h-he got mad I-"She got cut off by a loud thud sound
"LIAH? OPEN THE DOOR! I'M SORRY"Kentrell yelled
"He put his fucking hands on you?"I asked
She nodded and looked at the door. I started to make my way towards the door.
"Nahmir stop! please don't open the door!"
"I'm bouta beat the fuck outta this nigga man"I said
Liah grabbed my arm "no"
"Then imma call the police-"
"no no don't do that"Liah said
"Why not?"
"Cause he could go to jail!"she said before wiping her tears
"That's the point! he hit you Liah!"
"LIAH! OPEN THE MUTHAFUCKING DOOR!"Kentrell yelled
"I know but I don't want him to go to jail"Liah said
"Why not?! Liah you sound stupid right now!"I said
"I'll just try to talk to him-"
"You're not going back out there! you need to stop being crazy and call the police!"
Liah sniffed and looked at me "he didn't mean it to hit me, I got him upset and-"
"Liah?! are you hearing yourself? you sound crazy! Why would he put his hands on you because you got him angry? hm? the nigga doesn't love you Liah! he's with you because you're easy"I said
"What?"
"Yeah. the nigga could call you out of your name 50 times and you'd be with him, he could slap your grandma and you'd be with him, hell he could even shoot yo ass and you'd STILL be with him! you've been putting up with this nigga for two years! Just walk away!"I yelled
"Liah baby! Please, Please open the door I swear I'll never hit you again! I'm sorry! you know I love you"Kentrell said through the door
"Liah don't listen to him alright? let's go upstairs"I grabbed her hand and led her upstairs to the bathroom
"What if your mom and sister wakes up?"she asked
"I'm sure he'll eventually stop knocking...you can sleep in my bed"
"Where are you gonna sleep?"she asked
"I'm good on the floor" I said
She grabbed some tissue and patted her lip and nose. She couldn't even look at herself in mirror. After her face was cleaned up we went to my room and she got on my bed. I went in my closet and grabbed some pillows and covers.
I looked at Liah and saw that she was staring at the ceiling.
"Happy Birthday Liah"I said
She smirked lightly "Thank you"
Later on that day around 9:00am I woke up out my sleep. I looked towards my bed and saw that it was empty.

Back to Jahseh's pov
"Of course she forgave him for that...and that certainly wasn't the last time he hit her"Nahmir shrugged
That whole story just made me more angrier. Just the thought of him putting his hands in anyway makes my blood boil.
"Damn.."Wifi mumbled
"I never could understand why she just wouldn't leave him..but I guess she thought that was love"Nahmir said before looking at me
"I'm glad she finally knows what it is though"He said
"Yeah, I'm glad I found her too"I nodded and cleared my throat
