shuichi didnt know what to do. he didnt know how to react to things like this.
why wont it stop? why is this happening? why me? why do i have to solve this. why cant anyone else? why did kaede have to leave?
his head was spinning, and honestly shuichi felt like he could pass out at any moment. thankfully he had a few people he could rely on.
well at least, people he thought he could.
you never really know who you can rely on until you do rely on them.
and sometimes. you cant.
shuichi saw the image of kaede being dragged away almost every time he closed his eyes.
it was terrifying.
having the image of his best friend being dragged off to her death constantly playing over and over in his head.
he just wanted someone who he could rely on.
someone who he could trust.
everyone who he thought he could rely on.
left him.
either willingly,
or unwillingly,
they eventually left.
the images of each of his friend individually dying was burned into his skull.
seeing rantaros bloodied head.
kaede, hanging.
ryomas skeleton floating.
kirumis once moving body, life less.
angie, laying on the floor, with a bloodied wound.
tenkos head, flat against a stone, a stab wound through her neck.

mius hands grabbing at her throat, gasping for air.

shuichi couldn't decide if he was glad he couldn't see kokichis body, or if it made him feel sick.
it make shuichi cry thinking ab kokichis death, he sacrificed himself (and shuichis best friend but who cares ab kaito all my homies hate kaito) for everyone else to survive.
what were his last thoughts?
was he happy to leave?
did he think his plan would work?
shuichi could only wonder
because, kokichi wasn't there to explain his thought process.
not that if he was here, he'd explain it clearly, he'd still make shuichi figure it out.
but, it would have been nice to try to be able to stop kokichi.
but alas, he couldn't.
he was gone.
and so was everyone else.
