Watson Amelia - Romantic Oneshot
Slight hints of spice later on (but it's probably really bad idk I don't want to read this again)
Word Count → 873 Words
Warnings → Naked Ame (no lewd) and some old-ass 2020 writing (like the icky-icky kind. Trust me)

"Ame! You're taking forever! The bed's getting cold!" You whined dramatically, flailing your arms around before completely flopping down on the bed. You hissed in pain since you hit your head on the backboard of the bed.
You could hear Amelia giggle from the bathroom. She'd been in there for hours! At least that's how it felt. How long does it take for her to get ready?
"Calm down! I just need to brush my teeth!" She called back. You huffed and snuggled further into the thick duvet before closing your eyes. You may as well rest your eyes since you were pretty tired.
You heard Amelia exit the bathroom and close the door before walking over to the bed. You were a mixture of nervous and excited since it was your first time sleeping in the same bed as Amelia.
Oh boy, if only you knew what you were getting into...
You felt Amelia lean over and pat your head before she lifted the covers and slipped in behind you. You were about to fall asleep completely before you realised that Amelia's sleepwear felt kinda weird. Her body pressed closer to you when she wrapped her arms around your upper torso and nestled her chin into the crook of your neck.
That's when it hit you...
She wasn't wearing sleepwear.
She wasn't wearing anything at all.
You immediately tensed up and squeaked when you realised this. Amelia didn't notice and hummed sleepily. You were about to say something before she let out one of her famous high-pitched yawns before she snuggled closer. She tangled your legs together which meant you could feel her a lot better.
Including her... yeah.
They were pressed flush against your back, and though it wasn't uncomfortable, it did feel slightly weird.
"Uhm... Ame?" You felt her groan sleepily into your neck. You heard her respond with a faint 'yeah?'.
"Uhh.. what nightwear are you wearing?" She let out a small hiccup that melted your heart before she started giggling. She nuzzled you once again.
"None at all. Why would I? It's more comfortable like this,". You shuddered when you felt her place a series of small kisses along your shoulder to your jugular. She leaned over you more, propping herself up on one arm. Her hair tickled your skin slightly. You turned your head to see her staring at you with big, blue eyes and a smirk on her face.
"Is it... is it making you feel someway?~" she purred, her voice a few octaves lower. Oh no. Oh no, oh god, oh fuck. You made a shocked 'eep!' sound before turning over hurriedly. You could feel yourself trembling under her gaze. You felt you were about to start sweating profusely when you heard her giggle again.
"I'm just teasing you, silly!" She leaned over and kissed you on the cheek before snuggling into your back again before settling down to sleep.

Oh god, you were overheating. Not from having the extra body heat in the same bed as you, no. It was what Amelia had done only a few hours before. She wasn't fully pressed into you like she was when you fell asleep. You now only had one arm wrapped around you, but she was now sprawled out, taking over a majority of the bed. You didn't mind that you were on the edge of the bed because it meant you'd occasionally feel a bout of cold to cool down your extremely warm body.
After a few more minutes of feeling stuffy and overheated, you decided to just get a drink of water and maybe a midnight snack. Yeah, that sounds good.
You were grateful your slippers were right where your feet were when you swung yourself into a sitting position. It meant that you didn't have to struggle to find them in the dark. You silently shuffled towards the bedroom door so you didn't wake up Amelia.
The layout of the apartment was pretty simple, so it was easy to navigate in the dark. Silently grasping for the handle for the tap, you heard the bedroom door open. Just as you brought the cup to your lips you felt Amelia hug you from behind.
"Why'd you leave?" Her words were slightly slurred from sheer tiredness. You set the cup down and leaned back into her embrace slightly.
"Sorry, love. I was just overheating, so I thought I'd get a drink then come back to bed" you explained quietly. Amelia paused before hiccupping. God her hiccups were adorable.
"Was it because of what I did earlier?" She asked quietly. You froze slightly. You sighed before making a noise of affirmation. Amelia hugged you a little tighter before rubbing her cheek against your shoulder blade.
"M'sorry. Come back to bed and snuggle? I'll put a nightgown on". You smiled before turning around and giving her a peck on the nose. She smiled before going back to the bedroom. You smiled and downed the glass of water before following her.
Life is good. Especially when you have a cuddly detective girlfriend.
