After grandpa found out he made me tell my mom and grandma, it was hard because my mom lost her husband and her son is already there and grandma lost her son and her grandson there. grandma understood where I'm coming from but was very sad and mom, well... she said she needs time and went out.
"she will come back Sky, don't worry" my grandpa tried to calm me down
"I have to go tomorrow morning, I don't have much time" I hope she will come back before that
"I have an idea, why don't I make dinner and you finish packing?" Gramma said trying to lighten up the mood
"Yeah, thank you gramma" I gave her a kiss on the cheek and went to my room

"Sky food is ready" gramma shouted, nice timing I'm done packing
"what's for dinner?" I asked when I came down to the kitchen
"your favorite" Yesss
"Spaghetti?! thank you so much"
"you are an easy girl to please" I really am. give me food and I will be happy.
"I know grandpa, I know"
we sat down to eat dinner when we were finished I washed the dishes
"Sky I think its time for us to go, we will miss you so much," Gramma said with a tear on her cheek
"I will miss you too, I will call whenever I can I promise. love you" I hate leaving them, I will miss them so much
"be safe Sky, don't be a hero like your dad," Grandpa said. I nodded and they left
I tried so hard not to cry, I didn't cry since dad died, I hate crying. but what grandpa said bringing me memories. I hated my dad for not being selfish for once, he saved his whole team but sacrificed himself. that just who my dad was. he is a hero not just for me, he is well known there everyone knows his story, I just hope people won't give me pity stares I hate those. he was good at what he did, too good.
I snapped from my thoughts when I heard the door open, my mom walked in and sat beside me on the sofa
"I loved your dad very much you know that and when he died I lost a part in me, I can't lose you too that's the same thing I said for your brother but I won't keep you from your dreams, I hate the idea of my little girl fighting there, I saw your dad coming back, every time he lost a little more of himself, don't ever lose yourself you are so strong, your father would have been very proud of you, I am too it's just hard for me," Mom said with tears. I don't know what came over me when I planned not to tell my family, now with them supporting me I'm feeling so happy
"you couldn't just go and be a model do you, you have to be a hero like your father and your brother," she said while crying and I chuckled a little, mom always told me I look like a model, I mean I know I'm pretty but I don't think like a model
"I love you mom," I told her while looking into her eyes
" I love you too sweetheart" she hugged me and we stayed like this for a while
.......In the morning.............
I love waking up early, I know strange but it is what it is, but today I woke up happier than ever, I can finally go and complete my dream.
I quickly showered and went to my closet, I still didn't get the uniform, they give it there so I need to wear my own outfit I have no idea what to wear but in the end, I decided on a simple black top with black tights and I wrapped a black sweatshirt around my thighs in case it will get cold
after that I pulled my hair into a ponytail, Im not going to put any make because its not like im going to the mall im going to the war
I take my things, which is one bag and one suitcase, and make my way downstairs
"I'm going to miss you so much," said my best friend while running to me and pulling me into a hug
"I'm going to miss you too, thank you for coming saying goodbye," I said and went to hug my mom
"I love you sweetheart don't let them break you, be strong and don't let anyone give you trouble," my mom said and I chuckled
"I never do, love you too mom," I said and waved goodbye
I walked out the door taking a deep breath and getting in my cab who is supposed to take me to their base in here and from there to the helicopter to the base in Iran

"thank you," I said to the cab driver after I gave him the money and got out
I walked into the base and there was a guy waiting for me
"let's go," he said. Ok someone is in a bad mood.
"what wrong? you got stuck in babysitting duty?" I asked. he turned to me looking surprised
"something like that" he answered and turned his back on me. ok then.
we stopped in front of a door and grumpy (I call the guy grumpy now) knocked on the door
"come in," a voice that comes from inside the office said
grumpy opened the door, I walked in behind him
"The new doctor is here sir" Doctor? really? the man chuckled a little, I guess he knows I'm not a doctor but didn't say anything
"great, she will fly with you to the base," the man said and I realized I don't know their names
"Yes sir, I will go look if the pilot is ready" grumpy said and got out, I started to go after him but the man called me and said
"good luck out there and nice job so far," he said and I nodded
"Thank you, sir," I said and got out. so he does know.
I spotted grumpy and followed him until I saw the helicopter and got in
"what, you aren't going to complain and say it's so little and is it safe?" grumpy said. so he does know how to say a complete sentence
"you really love to assume things" he looked at me not understanding
"what does that mean?" he asked. I chuckled
"can I know your name? because so far it's grumpy" he gave me an annoyed glance
"what are you? a child?" he said annoyed. rude.
"something like that" I used his line. he looked at me somewhat amused
"its Jaxon, Jaxon Hall" Ok I think I heard his name once or twice but he is not from my brother team
"hey Jaxon, Jaxon hall, I'm Skyler" I don't want to say Harris, maybe he does knows my brother and knows he have a sister and that's her name. He gave me a questioning look
"What team are you?" I asked
"team 2" Oh.
"Then you better get used to me" this is too funny
"you are a doctor, what does it matter what team I am?" he asked very confused
"I'm not a doctor and I'm in your team"
