Gar rushed towards Harper, trying to help her and Dick.
Kory had moved to Rachel and Angela as they huddled together in the corner of the room.
Rachel yelped as Angela clutched her daughter closer. Kory's hands were outstretched as the same fire emerged from her hands. This time is wasn't directed at a tractor, it was directed at Rachel.
Harper was watching in a daze as her vision blurred together. Gar had the girl in his lap while Dick was lying next to her.
Kory had whipped around when she felt a rope wrap around her neck.
" Stop!" the all too familiar voice of Donna Troy called as she held her golden lasso in her hands.
Kory struggled against the rope while Donna wrapped it around her wrists before using it to propel Kory into the wall. Kory slammed onto the ground as she fell unconscious.
Dick grunted as he sat up, his eyes widened a he saw Harper groan from her spot on Gar's lap. He scrambled to his feet before crouching beside her. His hand grabbed hers as he looked between the two.
" Are you alright?" He fretted as he and Gar helped the brunette to her feet.
She gently rubbed her bruised throat as she coughed out a 'yeah.'
Angela had her arm around Rachel's shoulders as they came out of their fetal positions in the corner.
Dick had a hand on Harper's waist to steady her as he asked what had happened. Harper's eyes however didn't leave the black haired beauty who stood in the middle of the room.
" She tried to kill my daughter!" Angela seethed.
" Rachel?" Dick questioned as he saw her rub her neck.
" I was trying to help Kory get her memory back. I must have done something wrong." She sighed, her voice still hoarse from the event.
" No. None of this is your fault." Harper said her voice sounding as coarse as it felt.
Harper pushed off of Dick as she made her way to the black haired woman. Her eyes shimmered as Donna turned around.
Her bottom lip quivered as Donna gave the brunette an equally tearful smile. " Donna" Harper rasped out.
" Harper." The Amazonian chuckled. The two collapsed into each others arms as they gripped each other as of it was their last moments on Earth.
Harper let out a watery laugh as she clung to the woman. " Oh my God, I missed you so much."
Donna smiled as she squeezed the brunette. " To be honest I was disappointed when Dick showed up and you were nowhere in sight. " Donna told the archress.
They pulled away, both having grins on their faces as they tried to absorb every possible moment.
" I'm sorry I never showed up. You were going through so much and I never made an attempt to visit and-" Harper went off before Donna clamped a hand over her mouth, trying to shut the girl up.
" It's alright Harper. I should have tried as well. " Donna reassured.
" I'm glad you're back." Harper said, a sincere smile etched onto her face.
" Likewise Arrow girl."
The group turned to Kory who groaned before sitting up. She looked around in confusion as she saw the groups eyes on her along with an unfamiliar woman holding a lasso.
" What's going on?"
" You tried to kill Rachel?" Dick told the woman.
Disbelief coated her features as she rapidly shook her head in denial. " What? No, I would never do that."
Angela fumed as she pushed Rachel slightly behind her. " I want this woman out of my house."
" Whoa chill, hold on a sec-" Harper reasoned but Angela wasn't having any of it.
" Now, God dammit!"
Kory tried to take a step forward, sadness shined in her emerald eyes as she looked at the teenager. " Rachel, I am so-" she stopped when Angela stood in front of her daughter, blocking Kory from her sights.
" I am so sorry." She apologised before leaving out the door. Dick had followed after her as well as Donna. Rachel started sobbing allowing for Angela to pull her daughter into her arms.
Harper sat on the kitchen counter as Gar gently rubbed an ointment on her bruises. Dick and Donna had left to follow Kory as Rachel and Angela went upstairs.
" You shouldn't have pushed me out of the way." Gar murmured as he placed an ice pack on Harper's neck.
She let out a hiss as the cold water stung against her skin.
" I had to. She wasn't in the right state of mind." Harper muttered, she flinched as he accidently pressed on her bruise.
" Sorry" he uttered. She waved him off, before hopping off the counter. " Go check on Rachel, she needs you more." She told the boy.
" What about you? Angela's with her." He said as he followed her out of the kitchen.
" Just go Gar. I'm fine." She assured him. He looked hesitant but she just sent him a smile giving him the go ahead. He let out a sigh giving the brunette one last look before going to find Rachel.
Harper sat in the lounge as she contemplated whether to phone Dinah and Oliver or not.
Her hand hovered over the call button before she quickly pressed it. Her hands shook ever so slightly as she heard the phone ring. Her heart sank when she heard Dinah's voicemail.
" This is Dinah. If you're not important don't bother phoning back. If I never answered you once. I won't again. Have a nice day."
Harper sighed before chuckling meekly. " Hey Dinah. It's Harper. Please phone me back when you get the chance." She said before bringing the phone down from her ear ,ending the call. She sighed before making her way to the dining room where Rachel and Gar sat.
She overheard Rachel telling Gar that he should leave. That everyone she got close to would eventually get hurt. Gar had denied it, she detected hurt in his tone as Rachel kept on persisting.
" How many times have we told you Rachel. You aren't getting rid of us that easily." Harper said as she made her presence known. She took a seat next to the girl, while grabbing her soup. " You weren't eating that were you." Harper shrugged as she shoved a spoonful into her mouth.
Rachel shook her head as Gar tried to hold her hand. " DON'T TOUCH ME!" She roared. Harper jumped back as they stared at the girl.
" I'm so sorry." She apologised.
" It's okay" Gar spoke trying to ease the girl.
" If the soup was awful you can tell me. There wasn't a lot to work with in the garden. "Angela said as placed a basket on the table.
Harper stood up grabbing the bowl. " The soup was great" she nodded.
" We'll give you a sec. C'mon Gar." She gestured as the two left the room.
