"All right class let's all have a look at your compiled exam papers. " Koro- sensei address to us at the front., "Let's see if those crucial second blades manage to pierce their intended target? I wonder..." sensei paused as the whole class grew silent as we all waited for the results.. 'it's been a week after that dreaded exam and the explanation about Zen's well being., she still allow us to call her the way we did before she regain her old memory or what we're comfortable to call her., we also got to catch up on how Zen were before and her personality is just the same with what we knew of her now.,' "No splitting hairs over a point or two understood" Sense said as he sped up and delivered our test papers., that shocked me a little that I didn't looked at how I scored and just stared at our dear teacher "The only thing we're concerned with right now was whether these scores secured a place for you in the top 50 unless I'm not mistaken."
He held up a poster with the result. "The main campus ought to be posting the results for all to see as we speak so I see no reason we can't do the same in class..." sensei paused as we held our breaths as the poster was spread out., we all stand up and walked up front to see.., the scores and we all saw Terasaka's name at ranked 46th while Sugaya was ranked 44 "h... hey? Isn't Terasaka dead last even in here though?"Hiroto said as eveyone stared at it, even I'm in a train of shock with this as the new information as I haven't process at my usual pace "I..if he came in forty-sixth then that must mean...." "Is this for real?" 'No way...' I thought as I tear up as joy and relive came over us "WE DID IT!!!" we all yelled, throwing our papers every where "And we even beat out the big five for the top spots! Go us! YeaY!!!!" we all shout and yelled joyfully.
"Zen, you're not happy taking the top spot back?" I heard Koro-sensei's asked Zen as I looked where she ranked and to no surprise her name is written at the top with Karma's name "I'll be honest with you Octopus sensei.., if my uncle Rin found out about my records here I'll be so stuck with his torture sessions again" zen said shivering at the thought as she cling at one of sensei's tentacles 'I guess she really feared this uncle of hers' I thought as I payed more attention at the other person who's sharing the top spot with Zen "Karma! Dude! You got first place" Maihara announced to the whole class as I saw Karma's shocked expression as Koro-sensei came around him as he pat his head., "Feels pretty good Doesn't it ? Earning the highest rank on such an unforgiving battle filed!" Sensei said as Karma blushed a little "What ever. I guess so., Yeah..." he said faintly smiling as "I didn't know apple is on par with me in terms to academics" Zen said grinning as she teased Karma while elbowing his sides as she sling an arm around his shoulder "Nice play soldier " she said saluting at him that make me chuckle at how childish she looked while teasing Karma
"It appears that your contest with Asano the perfectionist, Comes to a head on that last and I must say particularly thorny math problem" Koro-sensei said we all saw Karma's warm smile while his remembering something "Yeah, about that. Not sure I could say exactly why but, If I hadn't spent the past year with you guys. I don't think I could have solved it " he said as he looked us, while the rest we're chatting excitedly "That's the kind of problem it was...."he added that made me think at the difficulty of that problem to make Karma our most sadistic mate here in E-class say something this heart warming... "Awsss... apple your so cute., when your saying that..."Zen said pinching his cheek "hey! that hurts!" Karma had enough of Zen's antics and started getting even with her., "hahaha I just can't imagine with an image such as yours to be so emotional with the last math question on the exam" Zen teased him that made his face similar color with his hair that made me laugh at the antics of this duo.., I also felt his heart warming feeling of being home as I looked at everyone who are all smiles and satisfaction as our hard work pays off. 'we can all now go to our desired high school and choose our own path' I thought as I feel the overwhelming warmth that this class gave.
Zen's POV
After I slipped from E-class little Victory celebration I head down the mountain to see my supposed to be proud twin brother., I just want to check if his doing alright, cause that person's description in the journal stated that he haven't experienced being defeated and his aptitude is as high as his Father the principal.,
I walked through the hallway's asking some student's I came across for some direction to A-class., I have to admit that this school is freaking huge! and without knowing my way around I'm afraid that I'm just going in circles, and never got to my destination...'thank God that there are still students that's outside the class that I can still asked for direction' I thought as I sigh as I reach the door of my destination ...
but as soon as I open the door a little I felt bloodlust coming from the room but its not a life or death situation that's why, I decided to gather information firsts before I bust in there and make a scene. "If you expect a booster system on bloodlust cramming isn't the way to go. You have to nurture them over time" I heard my supposed to be Father talked at the front of the room 'Really old timer?, haven't have your fill yet?' I asked through my thoughts as I kept quiet as I saw almost all the students are lumped in their desks dejected by the results of their exams, and it seems that their sating something yet I cant hear it clearly as It came muffled on my part
but with what that student say made this brother of mine to speak up against his father, witch I smirk as his doing his job seriously with all this students mentality are at stake. "Your methods worked against you. You were set to lose. that's what it comes down to..." He said grimly as he curled his hands into fists "Not that my scores are anything to brag about either rest assured I'll put this frustration to work!" He said bravely accepting his loss that made me smile as I saw him in a better lime light 'he do looked cool defending his friends' I though as I continue to watch
As he scowled and stood up to face the class "Come high school I'll be on top again doing my damnedest to blazed a trail for the rest of you. just..." I heard him hesitate a little...that made me question him for what he wanted to ask to make him hesitate just now.., but I got stunned at what he said next to his class "All I ask...., is for your support." he ended his speech with a burning determination in his eyes. 'well that's a good start' I thought smiling at how he grew compared to what the journal described him., I chuckled inwardly thinking that Zen would be so proud if she knew how her brother rise from a loss and asked for support from his comrades.,
"Intriguing" I heard the old man said as he released half the pressure of his bloodlust that halt everyone in the room and looked at his unpleased expression "Strong words for someone who's lost the fight on which he staked his future" He said 'Dude it's just one exam can't you just let it slide?....plus some companies don't even looked that deep to noticed that he placed second in his final term exam in his middle school!' I thought ranting in my head as he's putting too much pressure on his son's shoulders
"All we may count on in this life is the unknown." old man said sternly "What seems arbitrary can in fact be what cost you everything. One can't be sure until the battle is over" he said 'old man is right though, their are a lot of unexpected things to come at one's way that may pull you down if your truly careless., but it doesn't mean that you didn't do your best when you clearly know yourself that you did your outmost best to reach the top ' I thought as I lean on the wall near the small crack opening that i made at the door, not daring to enter and disturb their class meeting.,
"This you see is why I insist on always playing to win. I have an obligation to prepare my students for the unknown.. Between now and graduation. You have much to learn" for some reason I can feel that this old man will snapped as he still can't accept his lost at this point... I thought as I kept listening... "Principal Asano, sir..." I heard a new voice spoke up "hm?" "With all due respect. It's clear to us..." that voice hesitated afraid to continue his sentence "That your methods.... aren't going to help us beat E-class." the other voice grimly continued as what the first one intended to say
'brave soul' I thought as I imagined what kind of face and courage he pulled as the old man with superiority complex is ready to snap.., As I can feel how the room grew colder and tenser by the minute passed...., I made a scared face just thinking about it as how I face uncle when I knew he won't let me slip as I said something that contradicts his plans, 'God Uncle is one hell to deal with when pissed --__--'
"Defeat made them stronger. Asano's taken that lesson to heart, We're no match for them sir. Their strength is just too...uuhh..? What's the word?.... Adaptable." he struggle to find the right word to make his point through that old man 'I'm glad that this class also got my supposed to be twin's back as they stand up to him while he protect them' I smiled a ghostly one as its rare for me to see something like this as my whole life is almost all about action with grandpa and my hobby with tennis. I thought as I deadpanned at the memories of me being alone, shouldering the weight of being a heir and having a tittle in the sports of tennis., I deeply sigh just by thinking of it.
"Forgive us, Sir. We fell short of our goal." this time I heard a bunch of voices that startled me with my own little drama in my head, and this time out curiosity I picked at the cracked of the door and saw the whole class bowing at the old man., that shocked me 'I didn't thought that they would go this far just to defend Gakushu.,' well at least he have dependable friends, but I'm more concerned at this old man as he just stood there just looking at them "If you think it's appropriate, transfer us down to E-class. I think there's a lot to learn from their ways of doing things." one said as they still kept their position bowing to the principal 'awsss... this..kids these days...sniff.. they grew so fast' I thought as I wipe an imaginary tear as I looked at how the proud A-class from the journal willingly bowed and asked to be transferred to E-class, like damn they'll grew by leaps and bounds if they just accepted this fact more sooner though it's better to be late than never.
"Well, Principal. What do you have to say to that--" Gakushu got cut off what he was about to say as the old man truly snapped as he backhanded his son so hard that knocked him over the desks and went slamming into a wall in a crumpled heap on the floor "GASP!"I can't control it as I am also shock at how he just flung his son like that 'well., I saw how the class flocked over Gakushu as they check how he is while I glared daggers at our supposed to be father., As he just stared at his bruise knuckled in disbelief... 'he lost it' I thought deadpanning as I can't watch this any more but as I'm about to fully open the door., but was stopped as I heard Gakushu chuckled hollowly as if he's also losing it, or he sarcastically insult the loser of the game "Your face looks like it's glitching out. Uh oh.. Don't tell me, I'm finally seeing your fatherly side?" I heard him asked that made me massage my temples
'Seriously this father son duo is making me dumber by the moment!.., Like who In the hell will call violence a Fatherly LOVE!? and the other can't seem to move on and accept his loss... Like bro pressuring this kids even more is not even going to help them build a strong foundation with in their selves in the future, as you kept pushing what you want them to learn instead of paying attention to the students well being. ' I thought as I decided to enter the back door with out them noticing while A-class students left the room leaving the stoned Principal who stood in an empty classroom for a long time., till I noticed his expression darkened., And that where I decided to make my prescience visible to him
"You know venting that out to those kids up at the mountain won't be the right thing to do " I said as I entered the room.., "Not now Gakuzen" he looked at me sternly, but me being me didn't took his warning as came closer to where he stand "Old man., just accept the fact that putting the pressure on those poor students, won't help them memorize or in other Words your only installing stress to their heads" I said strictly, looking at his shocked figure may be when I called him old man or its from the shock from his students earlier., I don't care but I need to stick to him for a while as I can sense something dangerous is going to happen with his plans that will back fired at him., I thought as I followed him around for these whole time
