Chapter 85: Marry Me
What a strange dream.
I groaned then closed my eyes again.
Who are you?
Why are you so familiar?
Why are you always appearing in my dreams.
"Mommy," the little boy opened my bedroom door. "Are you awake?"
I opened an eye. "Hey Scorp. Is everything okay?"
Scorpius looked down then mumbled something shyly.
"I'm hungry."
I checked the clock and it is indeed time for breakfast.
I yawned then stretched. "I see. Mommy will cook in a while,"
I smiled at my little boy then showered him with kisses.
"How was your sleep?"
"I dreamt of superheroes! Explosions and all. I wanna have a superpower...are you crying?"
"...No?" I wiped the tears. "Oh. I guess I am crying, but don't worry. It's just a bad dream."
"I don't want to see you cry." He said sadly then cuddled me.
"Want waffles for breakfast?"
"Yeah!"
I went to the kitchen then began to make the batter.
As I was mixing, something flashed back.
Then the music started. The guests started to dance.
Draco cleared his throat. "Want to dance?" He asked nervously.
I smiled. "Yes, but just a reminder that I'm terrible at this." I said.
"I don't mind." He said then took my hand, leading me to the dance floor.
I wrapped my arms around Draco's neck while he he wrapped his hands around my waist.
We began to sway to the rythm. I accidentally stepped on his foot.
"So sorry." I said.
He chuckled then twirled me."It's fine."
I stared at his beautiful eyes. "Your eyes are very beautiful."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Now I know why a lot of girls like me." He shrugged.
I rolled my eyes. "Of course."
"You're cute when you roll your eyes. It brings out the Slytherin side of you."
The music came to an end. Mom and dad clapped. "Wonderful, you two."
"I agree."

I got ready for bed, but Draco walked to me.
"Hey, Y/N. I got something for you." He said, handing me the gift.
"Thanks, Draco. I got something for you too." I gave him the box.
He opened it. "Are you proposing, Y/N?" He joked.
I chuckled. "No. Do you like it?"
"I love it." He said then wore then wore the snake-engraved ring.
I opened mine. "Draco! This is beautiful!"
It's a necklace with an emerald in the center.
"Thank you!" I hugged him.
"Can you help me with the necklace? I want to wear it." I said.
"Okay. Turn around." He said then attached the hook and eye clasp.
I turned around. "Beautiful." He mumbled.
"Goodnight. Thank you." I said.
"Goodnight, Y/N."
I groaned. Who is Draco and I why can't I remember him?
"Can I mix?"
"Uh...yeah, sure." I stammered then handed him the wooden spoon.
I checked the refrigerator for butter and maple syrup, but there's none. "Honey, let's head to the store real quick.
"Okay."

"Let's see...strawberry syrup or maple? Should I buy whip cream too—? Ah! Found it!"
My hand reached the maple syrup Scorp loves, but someone beat me to it.
"Hey," I turned to the stranger with platinum blonde hair. "That's the last one and I found it first."
"Oh. I'm sorry, muggle," he spat. "But today is the death anniversary of my deceased fiancé. I need this maple syrup for the waffles I made. She loved my waffles."
His face fell then looked down at the syrup at his hand. "Have it. She loves strawberry syrup anyway."
My eyes widened. "Thanks, but—"
"Take it and leave."
His eyes met mine for the first time and I can't help but stare in awe.
I watched his eyes widened and I saw him grip the basket shakily.
"Y/N?"
I furrowed my brows. "Who are you, sir?"
He let go of the basket, making all of the contents fall.
He gripped my shoulders tight then buried his face to the crook of my neck.
"Merlin," he sobbed. "Y/N...My love, you're alive."
"Get off me!" I tried to push him off, but he just held me tighter.
"Mommy?"
The man let go then turned to my son. "Mommy?"
"What did you do to my mommy?" He glanced at him then hugged my leg. "Is he hurting you?"
"Y/N!" My neighbor Hermione walked to me with a smile, but then fell when she saw the man.
"Draco? What are you doing here?" She asked.
I held my baby boy close. "Hermione? You know this guy?"
"Oh Y/N," she put the syrup back then glared at him. "We need to leave now."
"No!" Draco yelled. "I'm not leaving her again!"
"Just stay away from her! She's doing just fine raising her son alone without your help!" With

He stopped talking then faced me. "Yes. That is me. Do you remember me now?"
"No, I don't remember you at all. What's going on?" I asked.
"Mommy," Scorpius piped in. "Who's he? Is he my daddy?"
I looked at my son then at Draco. They do look alike.
Hermione grabbed my hand then we teleported back to my apartment.
"What the hell was that Hermione?!" I freaked out. "What happened?! How did you do that?! We teleported! H-How?!"
"Hermione has a superpower?" Scorpius looked at Hermione in awe. "That's so cool! Can you do it again?!"
I guide Scorpius back to his room.
"Scorpius, go play with your toys for a while."
Scorpius obediently walked inside to play.
"Explain." I crossed my arms while looking at Hermione.
"I'm a witch. You are too."
"Me? A witch? Are you out of your mind??"
"You witnessed me teleport from the grocery store to your apartment, Y/N. It's a good thing no one noticed and there are no cameras in that aisle."
She brought out a stick from her bag.
"A stick? Am I okay?"
"It's a wand," she pointed out. "Wingardium Leviosa."
Then the book on my couch started to fly.
"Draco, you're saying it wrong. It's LeviOsa. Not Leviosaaar. Observe. Wingardium Leviosa." I pointed it at the feather.
The feather flew in the air along with Granger's.
I smiled.
"Oh, well done! See here, everyone. Ms. Granger and Ms. Rosecharm done it! Oh, splendid!" Professor Flitwick said happily.
He smiled. "Well done, Y/N."
Then I heard a blast. Finnigan's feather blew. "I think we're going to need another feather over here, professor." Potter said.
Then she started to explain everything.
May 1998
"You're so sweet," I said then glanced at the ring. "I love you so much."
"I love you more." He held my bare body then pulled me closer to him.
"I'm scared." I admitted shyly.
He hummed. "Why? I'm here aren't I?"
"I know," I sighed. "But still..."
He kissed the crook of my neck. "I know how you feel."
His face fell when he saw his dark mark.
"Hey," I grabbed his arm. "This does not define who you are."
"I'm a bad person, Y/N."
"My fiancé isn't a bad person. You're not a bad person."
He leaned in to kiss me but then I suddenly felt nauseous.
I pulled away from him then to the bathroom.
"Y/N?" He walked towards me then pat my back.
"I'm sick, Draco." I said after puking.
He looked at me with worried eyes.
"What?"
"You look pale."
"I—" I quickly faced the toilet bowl then puked again.
"Should I take you to Madam Pomfrey?"
"No! It's fine. Probably just a bug or something."
My eyes started roaming around his body.
His hungry eyes met mine. "Enjoying the view?"
"Shut up."

"Why can't I remember Hogwarts and...Draco?"
"I honestly don't know, Y/N. Uhh. Draco is the father of your child by the way."
I gasped. "I had sex at the age of 16?!"
"Well yeah. Scorp is 8 now right? He will be attending Hogwarts at the age of 11."
I rubbed my head. Too much to take in.
"How did I end up here in this world where I don't belong?"
"It's dangerous. Your parents cast you the forgetfulness charm on you when they found out your pregnant with Draco's child later on. We all thought you died. Except me, of course. I'm your neighbor. Draco didn't handle it very well."
"Speaking of Draco, where is he right now?"
"He rented a place here. He can't stay in the Malfoy manor anymore because everything reminds him of you." She told me the directions and all.
A manor? Damn.
"Watch Scorpio for me please." I grabbed my bag then walked to the front door.
I paused. "Sorry to ask, but can you make the waffles and get the syrup for him please? And tell him I have things to do."
She smiled. "Got it. Go get your fiancé, Y/N."
I ran to his place then saw him going to his front door with teary eyes.
"DRACO!"
Before I give him a moment to react, I quickly grabbed his shirt collar then smashed my lips on his.
His stiffened figure softened then kissed me back with full passion.
"Y/N—"
"I remember everything. I'm here now. Your fiancée and the mother of your child is here and well now."
"I have a child?" He smiled widely. "Y/N, this is wonderful! I love you, I love you, I love you!"
I hugged him tight. "It's good to be back."
"Second year?" He whispered back.
"Your lily isn't going anywhere now."
He grabbed my fingers then removed the ring on my left hand.
"I gave you this promise ring because I promised you that I'll marry you when the time is right."
I frowned. "That's sweet and all, but why remove it?"
"Y/N," he brought me closer. "Marry me for real this time."
Tears welled up in my eyes. "I do. I will marry you.
I feel so safe and loved.
