Katerina King
The nightmares were horrible.
I had them every single night.
It was always about Draco being tortured.
I couldn't get it out of my head.
But I also couldn't get out of my head the fact that he lied to me about everything.
What I felt for him had been so real, while all along it was all fake to him.

I had been at the burrow for just short of a month. Everyone was so lovely to me, especially Fred.
He always kept me company and managed to make me smile.
I thought that he liked me, from the way that George would always wink at him when we spoke or how he would nudge my knee at the table or how his hand would brush against mine when we went for walks.
Not that I knew how to feel about it.
Fred wasn't Draco.
Yet perhaps that was a good thing.

Fred was kind and gentle. He could make me laugh at the drop of a hat. He was a good person and I liked being in his company. Fred was older and almost had a business up and running. He knew what he wanted. And, his family liked me.

Draco had always been cold and stubborn. But I felt safe with him. And no one had ever made me feel the way that he made me feel. He was my first everything.
But now he had chosen the dark side. He chose to be a death eater. He chose to lie to me. He chose to fake everything. He chose to break my heart.

"So, I have to go to the shop tonight. Do you want to come and see it?" Fred asked as we sat on the little balcony side by side.
"Won't George go with you?" I asked and he shrugged.
"He's not coming tonight." He said and I couldn't help but smile as a pink tint appeared on his cheeks.
"Oh." I said, nodding slowly.
He looked back at me and reached up to touch my hair. I frowned.
"You erm, have something in your hair." He said and again I couldn't help but smile. "I wouldn't just touch your hair. No. T-that would be, that would be weird."
He kept shrugging and gesturing with his hands and the more and more he spoke the more flustered he got and the more red his cheeks got.
"Fred," I giggled, putting one of my hands on the back of his neck.
"I'm blabbing I know but-"
"Fred!"
"What!"
"Just kiss me." I said and immediately he leaned over and pressed his lips to mine.
He was very gentle and as I kissed him back he cupped my face with a gentle hand.
I tried not to think about Draco and tried to just focus on Fred but it was proving to be difficult. But I just reminded myself what Draco did and slowly he slipped out of my thoughts.
I allowed myself to melt into the kiss as I felt one of his hands brush against the bare skin on my waist. I ran my hands through his red hair.
"Freddie!" George yelled and we quickly pulled away from each other, grins on both of our faces.
George walked into the room and Fred and I scrambled up and stood apart from each other.
"Gross. Are you going to the shop?" George said and Fred nodded before looking over at me and winking.

Their shop was amazing.
It had everything in it that any troublemaker student at Hogwarts could want.
The way that Fred checked everything over and over again showed how much he care for this shop. It was his passion.
I trailed behind I'm, trying to keep an eye on everything around me in case something jumped out.
"Are you serious?" I giggled and picked up the heart shaped bottle.
"Extremely serious." He nodded and I stood on my toes, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Well now I know how you could have possibly fallen for me." I giggled but he wrapped his arms around my waist and sighed.
"I didn't need a love potion to fall for you Kit. I fell for you when I saw you in that green dress at the dance. No, I fell for you when, ok I don't know when I fell for you but I have." He said and I smiled.
" You're sweet. And I'm so grateful for how much you've helped me this past month." I sighed.
"Happy to be of service. Kit, how do you feel about me?" He asked and I hesitated as I searched his eyes.
I sighed and let go of him. I started to walk round the shop, occasionally grinning at him.
"I think that you're kind and funny, and you're extremely sweet. I like being around you and I liked the kiss we shared earlier." I said and I heard him laugh lightly. "But I think that you deserve better than me. You're older, you have a business that's going to be successful. I think, how could someone as good as you be interested in someone as hopeless as me."  I said walking up the many flights of stairs.

At the top of the stairs I opened the door to what looked like their store room.
I turned to turn the light on and gasped as I bumped into Fred who was stood infront of me.
"Is that really what you think?" He said walking into the room and shutting the door.
It was pitch black, and all my senses became heightened.
"I may be older and have my own business but i like you Kit. I really like you for who you are. This past month getting to know you has been the best month." He said, his hands running up and down my sides slowly under my T-shirt.
"Really?" I said feeling out for him to hold his shoulders.
"I was actually hoping you'd be my girlfriend." He said and I started to panic in my head.

I couldn't be his girlfriend, what would Draco think?
But then again, I had to start moving on from Draco. He broke my heart.
I had to move on.
Though I didn't think my heart was ready.
I still had love for Draco.
But he didn't love me...

"Erm. Sure ok. Let's give it a go." I breathed.
"Wait really?" Fred gasped and I couldn't help but laugh softly.
"Why not?" I sighed
He press his lips to mine and kissed me harder than he had kissed me previously. I grabbed the front of his suit jacket and kissed him back.
But it wasn't long before he shrugged his suit jacket and jumper off and threw them down on the floor.
As soon as his jacket and jumper hit the floor, a fire ignited in my stomach and a bubble of excitement and rush built inside me
I knew where it was going.
And go there it definitely did.
