CASPIAN'S POV
I woke up when my head feels a little heavy. I saw Eleena leaning on the sofa, sleeping.
Oh Fu--
I fell asleep on her thigh. I fell fast asleep because of the spell she cast on me. I gently put her hand on her side and got up. I stared at her face. A smile form unto my lips. The room was dark but I can barely see her face because of the light from the moon. Her name really does suits her... she really does shine in the darkness.
Whenever I see her there is this feeling that I can't explain... It's been 4 and a half months since she came here. Back then, I always watch her back because she might do something bad that could ruin my reputation as an Emperor. I cannot let her pass through my plans. But I was wrong, she even agreed to my conditions and followed it. For those months, I got to know her more. A cheerful woman with a kind heart, doing her works perfectly. She's a woman that doesn't give up.
I caressed her cheeks gently. I must protect her from harm. A lot of people wanted her but I'm going to make sure they can't get near to her.
Because...
she's mine in the first place.
The ball is on next week and I must keep an eye on her. I gently carried her to my bed. I slowly put her down and lay down beside her. When I look at her my heart is thumping like crazy.
What is wrong with me?!
I never got to experience this feeling before...am I sick? We're two years apart but she thinks she's mature enough. I startled when she suddenly moved and face in my direction. I chuckled when she starts moving her jaw like she's munching something.
"Caspian...... such a workaholic" she mumbled as I chuckled.

is making me crazy.
I moved closer and kissed her forehead, "Sleep well, Eleena" I whispered and embrace her.
ELEENA'S POV
I suddenly woke up when I felt something move.
Wait... Someone move?!
Dinilat ko kaagad ang mata ko at nakita si Caspian sa tabi ko na natutulog. I'm in his bed...Akala ko nakabalik na ako sa kwarto. Panaginip lang ba yun. Nilingon ko si Caspian at ang himbing ng tulog niya.

Napailing nalang ako at tumingin sa orasan.
4:33 am...
Madaling araw pa pala. Agad akong bumangon at tinignan si Caspian na mahimbing parin ang tulog. Good thing nakakapag pahinga na siya. Dahan-dahan kong binuksan ang pintuan at dahan-dahan ring isinara. Dali dali agad akong pumunta sa kwarto ko baka may makakita pa sakin. If someone will see me coming out from his room at dawn. I'm sure it would cause a huge scandal later.
Ilang minuto rin ay nakarating na rin sa kwarto. Agad akong sumalampak sa higaan dahil sa pagod ng pagkakatakbo ko. Hayst....pambihira naman oh!
I tried to get back to sleep but my mind is fully awake. Hindi ako makatyulog kaya napag-isipan kong maligo nalang. I started take off my clothes when I felt no fabric around my neck.

CASPIAN'S POV
I opened my eyes when someone knock at the door. I turn my head beside me and there's no Eleena. She already left. I got up when I accidentally touch an unusual fabric on my hand. It was Eleena's scarf. I immediately covered it with my blanket and let Leo in.
"What is it, Leo?" I said and sat on my sofa. Leo also sat and looks at me.
"It's about, Eleena..." he said in a serious tone. What's with Eleena?
"Continue" I replied.
"She keeps getting stronger, her mana is getting bigger. If she can't control it she might put herself in danger, Felix"
"Is there any way to prevent it?" I asked. Eleena must control it as soon as possible.
"If she keeps using her mana, then she'll be fine for now" he said and lean on the sofa.
"Then, increase her training, Leo. You can go now" I said and stand up.
"Yes, Your Majesty" he said and bowed at me before he leaves. Nilingon ko ang scarf na nakaratay sa kama.
Eleena...
ELEENA'S POV
It's been a week have past. Nag pra-practice ako para sa sayaw. Leo increased my training on my magic and I noticed he's more strict than before and I dunno why.
Bukas na ang ball and the ball will be held at the Fire Kingdom. There will be a new Crowned Prince. Lately, I've been avoiding Caspian because of that day. It's been a couple of days I havent seen him.
"Don't space out, Future Empress. Stay focus!" Taas na tonong sabi ng dance instructor ko. na ikinabalik ko sa reyalidad. Nagulat ako ng naapakan ko nanaman ulit ang paa ng kapares ko. I whispered 'sorry' to him but he just smiled. Pero alam kong gusto na siyang tumakbo palabas dahil kulang nalang halos maging lanta na ang paa niya sa kakapak ko. The song ended at napansin kong napabuntong hininga ito at umupo sa gilid.
"What are you doing, Eleena?"
Wait...that voice
It's Caspian. Bumati naman ang iba na nasa silid kaya agad akong nag curtsy at bumati sa kanya.
"I was practicing the dance" sabi ko at umiwas ng tingin sa kanya. Lumapit naman siya sa'kin at nilahad ang kamay niya.
I gave him a curious look, "I'll be your partner" sabi niya at tumingin naman ako kay Anne. She's giving me an 'you can do it' look. Tumingin naman ako sa ibang maid at ang laki ng mga ngiti nila habang ang kapares ko kanina ay napangiwi nalang. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. They're getting their hopes up. There's no way this Emperor would like me.
Tinanggap ko ang kamay niya at agad rin nag simula ang ang kanta. he take a step forward as I step my foot backward. He's really good at dancing. Mapapahiya ko lang siya pag isasayaw na niya ako dun. Hip-hop nalang kaya ang isayaw ko dun? Surebol naman mukha akong baliw dun.
"Relax, Eleena. Don't be nervous" he said. Right, I need to relax and enjoy the dance. I take a deep breath and enjoyed the dance.
CASPIAN'S POV
She's now relax and enjoying the dance. I was looking at her the whole time. Now, she dance like a captive bird who just got her freedom. She's not a bad dancer. The music ended and we also stop dancing. She's smiling from ear to ear.
"Thank you, Your Majesty!" She said cheerfully and smiled.
This woman...
She was about to step back when I held her waist and pull her closer to me.
Her eyes widened, "C-caspian?!" She said in an uttered voice.
ELEENA'S POV
Aatras na sana ako dahil ang lapit na namin sa isat-isat nang bigla niya akong hinatak papalapit sa kanya.
"C-caspian?!" Utal kong sabi pero nakatangin lang siya sa mata ko. Pababa ng pababa ang tingin niya at tumigil ito sa labi ko.
W-wait....is he---
He let go of my waist and hold my hand. He lift it closer to his lips and kiss the back of my palm. My jaw drop and heard a gasp.
"Close your mouth, Eleena. Mapapanis ang laway mo" he said and went out of the room leaving us in state of shock.
