The pack grounds were silent, at least it seemed that way. The air was tense and filled with aromas of angry and furious wolves. Haechan grimaced at the feeling. His wolf hiding from the intense anger of his mate. The omega quickly ran to scoop Chenle up, hurrying to get to someplace safe.
A loud, dark chuckle sounded from the older wolf, clearly finding the situation funny. "Now boys, this is childish. I am your father you know. This is disrespectful."
It was now Lucas's turn to laugh, he took a few steps forward. "Disrespectful? What do you know of respect?" Mingyu walked closer behind the older wolf, "You wouldn't know the first thing about that. And you never will."
Taeyong walked arm and arm with Taehyung, the two omegas unaware of the situation brewing. Taehyung halted as he sensed the anger. "Taeyong, we need to get Jungkook and Jaehyun. Now."
Taeyong looked confused as Taehyung led him in the opposite direction. "Why Luna? What-"
Taehyung walked faster, but suddenly was stopped when his name was called. It made him sick almost immediately.
"Luna, it would be nice if you would call off this rampage before it gets worse hm? Wouldn't want anyone hurt now.." Taehyung turned to face the alpha father, "Tell me what to do one more time..."
Suddenly a hand was placed on Taehyung's shoulder, calming him down. "Now Petal. Don't get involved.." Jungkook walked towards the two alphas, now surrounding their father. "Wong, I don't want any problems. Leave and this can all be over."
"I see you are getting older Jeon. You seem to have lost your power over your own pack? Maybe it is time to step down." Jungkook's wolf howled with the blow to his pride. No one ever disrespects him.
"Leave. Now. Final warning." The older alpha chuckled, but didn't budge. "I want to see my grandson, even if he is a mistake."
Jungkook and Lucas's fangs extended, Lucas finally losing it. He advanced on his father, punching him straight in the jaw. The sound was deafening as the older wolf stumbled back. "I see you have been training son." The older wolf went to advance on his own son, but was suddenly stopped by an arm wrapping around his throat, pulling him to the ground.
The old alpha gasped for breath as he got up quickly. Once he managed to get some distance between the wolves, he howled for back up. Jungkook looked over at Taehyung nodding his head. Tae nodded back and ushered Taeyong away, knowing his task was to get Jaehyun.

" Get up you piece of shit. How do you expect to win any real battles if you can even stand up quickly. You would be killed immediately." Jaehyun rubbed his temples, walking back onto the pack grounds with some new trainees behind him. He just needed to lay down and cuddle with Taeyong. But no one needed to know that last part.
"Jaehyun! Jaehyun!" Taehyung ran up to his son clearly out of breath. "Fight...Lucas's dad...need..your...help..." Jaehyun was already making his way towards the action.
"God I'm out of shape.."

Five wolves made their way out of the woods, standing on the side of the older alpha. Their wolf forms on full display. " At least we can all fight fair right?" Lucas's dad still held the smirk that never left his face.
Lucas immediately shifted into his wolf form, he was about to rip these wolves to shreds. Mingyu followed in his step brother's footsteps, his wolf matching the same size as Jungkook's. Jungkook knew he had to be a true alpha. He had to be.
Suddenly another wolf emerged from the pack grounds, his black coat matching his father's exactly. "What did I miss?" Jungkook scoffed as a few of the opposing wolves advanced.
Then all hell broke loose. Lucas shot forward, slashing the throat of an opposing wolf. Blood coated his light brown fur. Jaehyun and Mingyu took on two wolves a piece, since this was an easier battle for the both of them. While Jungkook took on Lucas's father.
"Getting old Jeon. Slower and weaker." Lucas's father bit down hard on Jungkook's back, flinging him into a tree. Jungkook was dazed, but got up quickly. His back burned with pain, but he had to fight for his son's family.
Jungkook advanced on the older wolf slamming him into the ground. The older wolf struggled to get up, but the strength of the true alpha was still too strong for him, the older alpha changing back into his human form. Mingyu ripped the head off of his last opponent, walking up to see his father on the ground, covered in blood.
Lucas and Jaehyun followed closely behind, Lucas limping a bit as he walked. "I think that Mingyu should do the honors." Lucas looked at his step brother, the rest of the wolves agreeing.
"Mingyu would never kill his own father." The older alpha said spitting out blood.
"You're right. I would never kill my father." Mingyu changed back into his human form placing his foot on the older alpha's face, "I never called you my father." Mingyu reached down, ripping off the head of the older alpha.
Silence was all that was heard as the wolves changed back into their human forms. All of them were covered in blood and wounds that needed tended to. Jungkook's looking the worst. The true alpha fell to the ground, grabbing his back that was bleeding and starting to bruise. "Get your mom son."
Jaehyun took off to find Taehyung, knowing this wasn't good.

Jaehyun paced back and forth in the small space. Taeyong sat on a chair as he heard the small and rushed footsteps. "Careful Jae, you might put a whole in the floor with all that pacing." The alpha stopped and made his way over to his mate kneeling down to his height.
Taeyong smiled as he felt the familiar pair of lips on his forehead. "I'm nervous..." Taeyong smiled wider, if possible. He wrapped his arms around his mate, letting Jaehyun relax against his chest for a few minutes.
"You'll be fine Jae. I know it." The two shared a small kiss before leaving the room hand and hand.
Jaehyun made his way over to his father who was sitting at the head of the table. Jungkook was covered in bandages head to toe, but smiled as Taehyung had set a plate of food down in front of him.
The Alpha had called for a feast, and every wolf was dying to know the cause of it. Jungkook laughed as his son sat down to the right of him. "Nervous?" Jaehyun gave a small nod as he watched Yuta guiding Taeyong around and helping him fix his plate.
The younger alpha looked away when he heard giggles coming from a small pup beside him. Jungkook bounced a very excited Chenle in his lap, causing the little omega to cry out loudly. Jaehyun glanced at his brother and mate, only to see them watching their son with pure love in their eyes.
Lucas held Haechan close as Jungkook returned the pup back to his son with a fond smile. Jungkook looked around, and noticed mostly everyone had settled down. With a grunt the Alpha stood up with a little help from his mate, and cleared his throat.
"As most of you know...I'm not as young as I used to be." Taehyung let out a small laugh, earning him a glare.
"I've been blessed with a wonderful mate and my two boys who now have children of their own." Jungkook took a moment to look at Jaehyun and Haechan, remembering when they were just babies, fighting their battles for them.
He remembered the times when Jaehyun would beg to come on raids with him. Demanding that he was old enough. Jungkook remembered the times Haechan would draw him pictures and that he needed to show everyone at his meetings. He remembers when his sons would crawl in bed with them when they couldn't sleep because of a storm.
His family was Jungkook's everything.
"I haven't always been the best Alpha..I know. I think if anyone here knows that would be this omega right here.." Jungkook glanced at Taehyung with loving eyes, who was fighting off his own tears. "But I want to thank you all for staying with me through those hard times. But after this battle, it got me thinking about my future and what I need to do that is best for myself and my mate."
"I would like to announce that I will be stepping down from my position as the Alpha." Murmurs erupted throughout the pack, and Jaehyun's palm's began to sweat.
"My son, Jaehyun, will be taking my spot. I expect everyone to respect and follow him as you have done so with me. Taehyung and I want to live the rest of our lives peacefully and spend time with our soon to be many grandchildren." Yuta let out a loud sarcastic sound of affection, which resulted in a smack on the back of the head from his mother.
Jungkook nodded toward Jaehyun who stood up confidently. "Thank you father. I won't disappoint you...or the pack." Jaehyun looked out into the crowd seeing the many doubting eyes looking back at him. He knew he could do this and he had his family supporting him.

"And you can come home and visit anytime okay?" Jimin sobbed as he hugged Ji Hoon close to his chest. The smaller laughed a little as a few tears fell from his own eyes.
"Yes mom, I promise to come visit." Jimin kissed his forehead several times before releasing him. Yoongi stood behind the two as tears gathered in his eyes.
Yoongi could feel his heart breaking as reality set in. His little Ji Hoon was finally leaving him. His little omega boy, who could barely tie his own shoes and button his overalls was all grown up. Yoongi could still remember the times when Ji Hoon would sit and watch him train. All the times his son would bring him lunch, always with a handful of flowers. Don't get the beta wrong, he was ecstatic to be welcoming a new addition to his family, but Ji Hoon would always be his baby.
"Dad...don't cry..." Ji Hoon whispered as he wrapped his arms around his father. Yoongi pulled the smaller closer to him as he let out quiet sobs. Mingyu watched the heart wrenching moment unfold between the small family.
"Mingyu, can I talk to you before you leave?" Lucas quickly made his way towards his step brother, jogging a bit up to him. Mingyu stared at the alpha, waiting for the words.
"I just want to say...thank you." Mingyu's eyes widened, "Um.." "Without you, I don't think I would have won that fight alone." Lucas motioned towards Haechan who was holding a sleeping Chenle. "My family means the world to me...and I'm happy that you are a part of it." Lucas extended his hand out, "Brothers?"
Mingyu grabbed his step brother's hand and shook, "Brothers."
Lucas went to walk away, but turned, "Oh and Mingyu, I would check up on your mother's side...I see a lot of True Alpha in you." Mingyu just watched as Lucas took Chenle and grabbed his omega's hand as they walked back towards the pack grounds.
"I'm not leaving forever...I'll come back. I'm gonna have a new brother or sister here soon." Yoongi stayed silent trying to remember how it felt to have his son in his arms. "I love you too dad...take care of mom for me okay?"
Yoongi nodded and with one last squeeze, let the boy go and made his way to Jimin holding him close.
Ji Hoon smiled at his parents before making his way over to his mate who was holding his small bag he had packed before the feast. The alpha brought his mate close, feeling very protective given how close they were to the edge of the pack grounds. Mingyu kissed the top of Ji Hoon's head before looking at the two other wolves.
"I'll keep him safe, and we will be visiting often, especially to see the new pup." Mingyu smiled softly and pulled his mate with him as they began to leave for the last time.
Ji Hoon turned around with a small smile mouthing 'I love you' before the two had disappeared into the forest.
