THOR'S POV

It was really entertaining to watch Perseus talk about his father's side of the family. It got better when the other avengers stared in shock. Carina was giggling in her cell, probably listening in to the conversation with her water link, but nobody cared that the girl was alone in a cell, listening and giggling to a conversation that was not supposed to be blaring in her cell.

I listened to Perseus's side of the story intently when I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Something fun going on, brother?" I looked back. "Loki."

Loki smirked, his bottle green eyes sweeping the room. Everyone was busy concentrating on Perseus, and Loki had a surprised look on his face when he noticed the siblings.

 "Aren't they-"

 "Yes."

"Why?" I sighed.

"They think the Jackson kids are terrorists, so they're keeping the two detained."

Loki bit his lip, with a pained expression. He was with me when we met Perseus a few months back (Not sure if that's true I made it up please don't ask) and Loki had become friends with the boy in a very short amount of time. No wonder he looked so worried.

Perseus was smirking at the dumbfounded look on his interrogators. He seemed happy that he was telling the truth, and pranking them at the same time. He held his hands up, saying in an amused voice that it was a joke, when Natasha suddenly turned the small mike towards her and whispered. " He's telling the truth."

Perseus freezed, his face still in mid smile. I looked over and noticed that Carina had wide eyes and a panicked look too. I could practically hear their brain gears turning.

"I.....uh.....It was a joke!" Perseus fiddled with the hem of his jeans, his voice a little uncertain this time. Stark and Rogers narrowed their eyes, but came out of the cell, announcing that the interrogation was over for now.

"What the hell, his family life is a horror movie," Stark bellowed.

Rogers sighed. "This is getting more tangled than ever."

"I liked that disney movie," I piped up. "Though I always wondered why it wasn't named Rapunz-"

"'K, let's stop right there, Captain, aren't we supposed to interrogate Carina this time?" Natasha intervened.

 "Sure, come on."

"Wait, you volunteered?" I asked, surprised.

Natasha rolled her eyes, then walked into Carina's cell followed by Rogers.

STEVE ROGER'S POV

Rin was leaning on the bed, a puddle of water in front of her, with her finger in the stuff. I remembered that Percy was doing the same too, was that some kind of tradition or.....? Never mind. Rin looked up as soon as the door opened. Her sea green eyes widened a little when she saw me. But the surprised look was gone and a look of understanding and betrayal took it's place. She smirked, and I winced a little.

"Hello, Steve," she said, her voice bitter. "And I thought we were friends."

"We are friends, Rin, it's just......I'm sorry."

"Oh? Really?" Her eyes darkened. "I'm not sure you would lock me in a white room with no windows if you really were sorry."

I sighed, slumping into the chair, Nat by my side. She glanced at me, then turned her attention towards Rin.

"Okay, kiddo, let's pray that you have a little less sass than your brother. We have some questions for you, it'll be nice if you answer them honestly."

Rin glared at Nat, but grumbled, "'k."

"First question. Are you a terrorist?"

"Huh? Where did that come from? Of course not!"

 "Is your brother a terrorist?"

 "No!"

"What happened when your brother kidnapped you and your mother about 5 to 6 years ago?"

"Was I kidnapped then? I don't.....Oh, I wasn't kidnapped, but my mom was. I was in full health."

"Why were you sighted with a gun?"

".......? What? I don't even know how to use a gun."

Nat pulled out a piece of paper from a blue file, and slapped it on the glass for her to see. Rin narrowed her eyes at the photo where she was running along New York with a riffle.

"Oh. Yeah, that looks like a riffle doesn't it? Well, it's not a riffle, but, I'm not sure you'll believe me."

"When did you start having claustrophobia?"

 "........."

 "Carina?"

 "...... a few months ago."

 "How?"

 "None of your business."

Nat looked a little uneasy, but moved on to the next one.

The questions went on and on, and it was exhausting to think of any question that would lead to an answer. Until Nat asked a question about her father.

"Do you know your father? Your biological father."

She responded a little too fast. "No! He's lost at sea."

Nat raised her eyebrows and looked at me. It was a lie.

"You know him?" I asked, as Rin winced a little. She wasn't good at bluffing at all.

 "No."

 "Yup, you know him."

Rin tried to respond, but Nat and me both walked out of the room avoiding any unnecessary interaction.

"The thing is," began Tony, as soon as we met up. "We have no real evidence except the photos that these kids are terrorists. It might be a toy gun or something, and the explosions could have happened at the wrong place, wrong time. We have to let them go if we can't find any lead."

Fury scrunched his forehead. His eye flicked to everyone in the control room.

"For once, you are right Stark. We may have to let them go, but that doesn't mean that we can't let them go away, hmm? There's a second guardian right here!" Fury pointed at Tony, as Tony gave us a bewildered look.

"I just found out that I'm their uncl-"

"Speaking of which," Fury cut in, "It's technically okay for them to stay."

 "Wait."

We looked around to see Loki, positioned beside Thor.

"I know I'm the villain, but isn't it irresponsible to take two kids and claim to be their guardian? It's more like a psychopath stalking and taking kids."

"When did you get here, you slimy little git," Stark began to stand, but was pushed down by Clint. Loki held his hands up, and smiled.

"Calm down, mortal, I'm done trying to take over the world, it takes more energy than I thought."

"Anyway," Fury went on, ignoring Tony and Loki's rampage, "we'll be taking care of the two for awhile. will that be fine with you all?"

I was fine with that. It was better to be on house arrest than be locked in a cell anyway. It would be better for Percy and Rin.

PERCY'S POV

I was talking with Rin about a escape plan through the link when one side of the room began to melt open. I scrambled out of the way, like it was a radio active blast. It looked fatal. Any kind of heat that melts walls are fatal, aren't they? The melted gooey wall stuff began to solidify on the sides of the hole it made.

"Holy-" A man began to step into the room. It was pirate dude.

"Oh, hey Pirate Dude! long time no see! How's life?"

Pirate Dude grumbled, "We met just a few hours ago, boy. Now get out, we have to go somewhere. I blinked.

 "So....I'm going out. Where?"

"You're staying with your uncle for the time being. You sister will join you shortly."

Just then, Rin walked in, accompanied by Spangles. She looked worried, but smiled as soon as she saw me. "Percy!"

I smirked. "Hey, Sis. Good to see you." She was small for her age, so I got down a little to hug her. We looked around when we heard a loud cough.

"Umm...sorry to bother your reunion, but we have to go now....." It was our idiot of an uncle. I glared at him

"Where to?" He gave us a winning smile.

 "Upstairs. My house."

 "..........Why?"

Our uncle answered. "Your name's Carina, right? Well, we decided that we need to keep an eye on you, so you'll be staying with us."

 "My name's not Carina."

"Really? What was it again? Carry? Clarissa?"

"Nah, it's Carina, I was just trying to make sure you do know my name, it's obvious that you don't. If you don't even know that, why should we follow you?"

"Great point!" I gave her a fist bump.

"Well, it's an order actually, so you have to listen to us. If you don't, you have to get back into those rooms again."

 That made us silent.

Just wanted to ask, is the spelling 'Gaia' right? or is it 'Gaea'? I'm confused right now;;;;;

Also, voting commenting would be good! I'm not pressuring you though, just vote if you think it's a good book and that'll boost my mental state. Comments are nice, so that'll help a lot too.
