TODAY WAS MAEVE BIRTHDAY, as she woke up, she was surprised to see her father downstairs.
"i thought you were in vancouver" maeve asks her father as she hugs him
"i was, but i couldn't miss my little girls birthday" he kisses her head "happy birthday sweetheart"
"so missing our birthday doesn't matter?" damian asks
"breakfast is ready, common" jensen dragging his daughter to the kitchen
sofia letting out a scoff as damian rolls his eyes
"happy birthday my sweet girl" genevieve smiles as she hugs her little one
"thanks mommy" maeve smiles
"so what are the plans for tonight?" sofia asks wiggling her eyebrows

after the avery family had finished breakfast, there was a knock at the door. maeve walked over and opened it revealing a excited madelyn holding balloons and a smiley chase with a gift bag.
"happy birthday baby!" madelyn smiles as she hugs maeve
"thank you" maeve chuckles
"happy birthday blondie" chase smiles as he hugs the girl

walking back into the avery's home madelyn hands maeve her balloons as she places them in her room, her two friend following.
maeve takes a place on her bed as madelyn takes a seat on the edge and chase leans on maeve's dresser
"so this is a little something from mads and i" chase hands her the gift bag
madelyn letting out a squeal, "thanks guys" maeve smiles
"open it open it!" madelyn ushers
maeve goes to open the bag, pulling out the tissue paper and an envelope, giving them a skeptical look, she opens the envelope
"shut up!" maeve says excitedly
"do you like it?" chase asks with a smirk
"are you kidding me" maeve chuckles
"we're gonna go see shawn mendes!" madelyn squeals as she goes to hug maeve
"there's one extra ticket, you can invite whoever you want" chase explains

once maeve had finished straightening her hair, she walked out of sofia's bathroom, since she did borrow her straightener. she walked back into her room, smiling as she seen rudy sitting on her bed. two dozen of roses tied with balloons next to him along with a small gift box.
"happy birthday princess" he smirks as he stands to hand her the roses and balloons
"you're so cute" maeve chuckles softly "thank you" she smiles up at him blushing slightly
"anything for you" kissing her temple he grabs her hand and pulls her along to her bed "open it" handing her the gift box

"just open it" he smirks
placing the roses on her dresser she grabs the box from him and opens it. inside is another small box along with an envelope.
she decided on opening the smaller box first "rudy" maeve whispers in awe
"do you like?" he asks as maeve looks at the small butterfly necklace he got her
look up at him with a smile "i love it" rudy grabbed the box from her, pulling the necklace, so he can put it around her.
"so i have two more surprises for you" he tells her as she goes to face him

after rudy and maeve finished dinner, they walked along the beach. just telling each other childhood stories, talking about where they would like to travel, what they want in the future.
rudy took a hold of her hand, "common"
"where we going?" she asks with a smile
"the second to last surprise" he smirks
getting off the car, maeve recognized the bar they were pulling up.
"my parents bar?" she questions
"mhm" he smiles
he goes to open her side door, taking his hand in hers. he
lead her inside, as maeve walked in she let out a gasp.
"rudy" she chuckles with a smiles as she takes notice of the decorated bar as well as her whole family and friends.
"happy birthday princess" he smiles as he wraps his hands around her waist
"i love it" she smiles and pecks his cheek softly

the whole party consisted of dancing, rudy mostly dancing with maeve. she was the happiest she's ever been.
rudy spotting maeve dancing with madelyn, he walks up behind her "hey princess" rudy whispers in her ear, turning around she smiles brightly "it's time to cut the cake"
maeve nods her head, rudy leading the way with their hands intertwined.
as they reached the table, everyone started crowding the table. rudy taking the lead in singing happy birthday, everyone else singing along. when it came to blow out the candles, she took a quick glance at rudy before making her wish.
maeve's father, jensen started to cheer for her to take a bite of the cake.
"go for it" rudy nudges her
as she was close to taking a bite, rudy pushes her softly into the cake. maeve letting out a gasp, as rudy chuckled. maeve walking up to him wrapped her hands around his neck as rudy's hands went to her waist.
maeve trying to smear her face full of cake onto his cheek. but rudy moved his head, which caused their lips to meet. a couple people gasping while another cheered.
"yeah!" chase cheered
"finallyyyyy" madelyn squealed
maeve pulling back, she takes in the blue eyes boy in front of her. rudy taking in the sight of the goddess in front of him.
they both chuckle at each other, maeve pulling him back in for another kiss, rudy kissing back just as passionately.
