𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗟 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵
𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗉𝗁𝗈𝗇𝖾 𝖼𝖺𝗅𝗅
MAEVE, HERMOTHER, HERFATHER, her sister, and her brother we're all sat around the kitchen table enjoying a nice easter dinner as they joked around and told funny stories.
The blonde's phone rang and she immediately pulled it out of her back pocket to silence it, not bothering to check the caller ID. She didn't want to be rude by picking it up while they were eating.
"Sorry" she muttered
"Who was it?" Genevieve, her mother asked
"I didn't check" she responded with a small smile
"Sweetheart you can check your phone, there's no cell phone rule" Jensen, her father told her with a small chuckle
"I know-" the blonde was interrupted by her cell phone going off again
"Mae just answer it" Sofia, her older sister told her
With one last look at her family she got up and excused herself. She stepped into the living room and reached for her phone. This time she checked the caller ID and it read "Diana Garcia"
"What are you doing?" Diana, Maeve's manager immediately says as soon as the blonde picks up
"Well first of all happy easter" Maeve says with a small chuckle
"Are you available?" Diana asks
"Uh yeah" Maeve says more as a question
"Ok great you're getting on a flight" Diana says
"Ok when? Tuesday? Wednesday? Friday? Next week?" Maeve asked as she let out a long breath
"No tonight at 10:30pm you're taking a red eye to Charleston, South Carolina. I'm sending you a summary of the show is about and 19 pages of dialogue of the first four episodes, you need to get to the airport now. Oh and happy easter" and with that Diana hung up leaving Maeve with so many questions
After comprehending everything she was told, she walked back into the dining room with a stunned look and she stood behind the seat she was sitting on a few minutes ago.
"Who died?" Damian, her oldest sibling asked
"Damian!" Her mother scolded at him
"So i gotta go" Maeve mutters
"No what's going on?" Jensen asked with a confused face
"Diana called and apparently I'm going to Charleston" Maeve told them
And with that Maeve ran upstairs to collect all of her things and she said her goodbyes to her family as they all wished her good luck and told her to text them whenever she landed.
