I don't wanna eat any kind of bird rn. I just lost my pet bird. I can't even look at pictures of birds without getting sad.
Fun fact. I'm allergic to most vegetables and apparently more than I thought. I wanted to be a vegetarian for a week and I got really sick. I also tried to be a fruitarian but I learned that is extremely dangerous and I'd be eating nothing but acids.

"Well, one woman hit me with her car. The other woman was just equally as sad as I was." I answered.

I sat in Aurora's living room with her, Thana, and two others.
Me and Thana sat on one couch and across from us were the girl and the boy. Aurora awkwardly stood awkwardly for a few seconds.
"Marcia dear, could you-" She began.
"You don't have to tell me twice Ms. Silva." The girl stood up before patting the boy on the back. "Good luck Angie." The girl then hurriedly walks out the door.
Silence fell once again. "Can someone explain what's going on? Am I in trouble? Because if I am, It was Marcia's idea." The boy says nervously.
"Honey, no... um. I would like to introduce you to an old friend of mine...His name is Kars." Aurora says looking at Thana.
"Oh. I'm his daughter." Thana says.
"Daughter?" Aurora says looking at me surprised. I mouthed that I didn't know to her. "Well Angel..." She says looking to the boy. "This... Kars is your..."
"Ma, if you have a new boyfriend that's fine." The boy reassures
"Angel, he's your father."

I look away in shame. "I apologize for-"
Before I could get a word out the boy jumped across the room onto me and Thana.
"It's so nice to meet you! I- I'm Angel! And you too uhh sis?"
This is surprising. I thought he'd leave in a rage, or at least slap me. Thana seemed to have been in shock too.
"Angel! Get off of them!" Aurora panics.
Angel quickly gets up "Oh, my bad. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to act in this situation."
"No. You're fine. There is no correct way to act in this situation and that's fine." I reassure him.
"Yeah, he's right." Thana says smiling sheepishly. "I hunted him down and tried to kill him."
"You did what?" Angel tilts his head.
"That's for another time." I say. "I came here to apologize...To you both. Angel-" I turned to him "You deserved to have a father and I apologize for not being there. I don't know if you know already, but I am... Not like your mother. I am not human."
"Could you elaborate please?" Angel asked.
"Yeah, because I didn't know shit." Aurora huffs.
"We don't have any official name, but humans refer to us as pillar men." I continue. "Before I modified myself, I would have lived for centuries. Now I can not die. As for my children, I do not know."
"So you are like a god?" Aurora starts. "And you're really old? My son's basically a demi God then. I fucked a God?! And you're old!? Really old!?"
"Wow you're really stuck on the me being old part."
"Well this explains a lot." Angel looks taken back.
"What do you mean?"
"I uh. Had a few incidents🥺👉👈"
"Like?" Thana asks.
Angel can fly, he broke two people's bones, and some how restored the vision of his friend. He showed his wings and its not what I expected at all.
"Oh my god. They're so pretty!" Thana compliments. "Me and Kars have feathers."
"I don't have to have feathers." I add in. "Any animal in existence I can replicate."
"So you can turn into an entire chicken?" Aurora questions.
"I've never tried it, but probably. But anyway, I apologize for not being there to help you through that either."
"...I don't know why you left-" Angel looks down for a moment before looking up and smiling. "But that doesn't matter! You're here now and you're here to see me. That's all that matters now." The boy then embraces me.
I wasn't use to this much affection from a child. I guess I just hug back?
I awkwardly pat his back.
He let's go and I look to Aurora.
"Aurora." I stand up abruptly startling everyone. "There are so many things I have to say to you."
"Uhh, you don't have to, really-" She says waving her arms.
"I want to! And I would like to do that privately."
"Oh. Ok. Follow me to the kitchen."
Thana POV
"Hey, what did you say you're name was again?" Angel asks me.
"Oh. It's Thana..."
I was hoping for a sister, but its fine. He seems cool. Its so weird to say I have a little brother.
"You didn't really try to kill him did you?" He asks.
"I definitely tried to kill him. I failed, so that's good." Did that sound mean? I hope I don't sound mean. Am I making a mean face? He's gonna think I'm a bitch. I mean I am one, but first impressions.
"Can I ask why?"
"I thought he abandoned me and my mom."
"Oh... Well I'm really sorry to here that." He says looking down and scratching his head.

"So what did you want to tell me?" Aurora says.
"First off, I wanna say, I'm sorry for not visiting you. I would have known about Angel sooner."
"You don't have to apologize. Coffee or tea?"
"Uh, tea, but I need to apologize."
"For what? You met a girl and slept with her two days later. I wasn't expecting a relationship or anything."
"But you were nice to me and I left without saying anything."
"Look. I expected it. You said you were "dangerous" and that you left the girl you loved...Is that her daughter by the way?"

"Did she really try to kill you?"
"Yeah... I left before she told me she was pregnant. When I left, she died during that time. My daughter- Thana, grew to hate me. She doesn't enjoy talking about the situation so I don't have all of my information."
"Kars, I'm so sorry." She says giving me a quick embrace.
"Seeing how Angel is... I wanna thank you."
"What do you mean?"
"Well he could have turned out anyway, and he seems fine."
Aurora chuckles. "Thanks. I am the best momma ever, so it makes sense.~ I meant to ask. Does your daughter drink tea or coffee?" She says reaching in a cabinet.
"Just give her tea to be safe."
"How'd you know to find me and Angel?"
"It's weird honestly. Thana came to me out of nowhere and said Three countries. They all had one thing in common..."
"Which is?"

"So you you've been to all three?"
"No. I go to Korea next."

He got harassed a lot and didn't have any friends. The girl Marcia who was here earlier is his only friend and she almost died last year."
"Bullied? Her almost dying?"
"Yeah. It was centered around some problematic girl. We had to get a restraining order too."
"Now I feel bad."
"Why? Because You weren't their? It's not your fault. Things just happen sometimes. No one is at fault for this. It's not like I told you and you left. I didn't even know. You left exactly a day after."

"So you can write whatever you want?" I ask looking at my brother's phone.
"Yeah. I got the app when I was eleven, even though you're supposed to be thirteen." He says
"Le gasp. I see you're quite the delinquent.~ What type of stuff do you make?"
"Oh uh, well I uh, ya know... Stories?"

"I got tea for you guys~" Angel's mom says, brining out a tray of tea with Kars following behind.
"Uh..." Angel says twirling his thumbs. "Mr. Dad, I was wondering if you and Thana could stay for a while. I could show you the town and you guys can get to meet Marcia, but for real this time."
"I would love to stay, but you two have a younger sibling I have to visit... And possibly take with me." Kars mumbles that last part.
"I have another sibling!?" Angel says excitedly. "I have to go! Can I go ma?"
"I mean sure, that's fine, but you have to ask your father." Aurora smirks
"I don't know. Taking you out the country on short notice?" Kars questions.
"Oh, cmon!" I began. "Let him come! He hasn't seen you for almost his entire life, let him spend a day with you! Plus, he gets to meet two of his siblings in one day. He deserves that, right?" I say tugging his arm.
"Mr. Dad, please. I promise I won't cause any trouble." Angel pleads.
Me and my brother began to simultaneously beg. Kars has a panicked look and turns to Aurora as is asking for help. "Pfft. Don't look at me." She says with a smug look.
Kars rolls his eyes and looks back at us. "Alright children... Who actually aren't children. Angel is allowed to come on this journey."
"Hell yeah!" I shout before covering my mouth. "Sorry I don't usually cuss in front of adult women."
"Why are you lying?" Kars asks.
"Wait a minute! What about passports? Birth certificate? Insurance!?" Aurora freaks out.
"The hell? Where was that five seconds ago??" Kars tilts his head. "Anyway, it's fine. He just can't use a credit card. Thana doesn't exist to the government and I'm filed as a world wide threat who went missing over fifty years ago."
"...That's a joke right?" Aurora smiles nervously.
"Don't worry. I retired."
"That... Doesn't make it bet-"
"Alright Angel and Thana! Get ready to meet your younger sister or brother!"

My friend scared the shit out of me the other night. She texted me asking if she could move in late at night and I got concerned because she's had family issues before so I thought she needed to go like NOW, and I was in a whole other state. I was gonna call my mom or grandma to pick her up, but she just meant like later on in life.
Then I thought of a sitcom! Me, my quirky friend who's a veterinarian, my cool and super religious cousin who plays nothing but fortnite and my younger sassy sister living under the same roof.
We aren't actually doing that, but those are the only candidates who get to live with me.😐
I would have included my brother but he's gross. (Misses the toilet and doesn't clean up after himself. No dignity.😔)
