jaden hossler's new single "so what" is finally out along with the music video!
after maeve and jaden's break up, jaden took to twitter that their break up inspired a song. meaning this new single is all about their break up.
the most importantly lyrics that stood out were:

"exhausted, it's toxic
you took a line and crossed it

seems as their split took a toll on jaden. luckily for us we were lucky enough to speak with jaden, and he gave us an inside scoop of the song.
when asked about how his spilt with former ex girlfriend, maeve inspired the song, he responded "this song covers the topic of being in love with someone who doesn't reciprocate your feelings to the same degree, making the relationship toxic and dangerous. some lyrics are words that my ex girlfriend herself told me the day we broke up."
jaden also told us "our break up, did take a toll on me. i loved her so much." when asked if she still loves her, he responds "of course. we dated for almost two years. i will always love her, she'll always have a special place in my heart."
we wonder if maeve has heard the new single, better yet we wonder if she'll end up having something to say! but for now stream so what!!

"are you shitting me!" maeve yells as she finishes reading the article throwing her phone across her bed
"hey" rudy sighs as he walks over to the girl and kneels in front of her grabbing her hands in his "don't give him the satisfaction of winning"
"it's not true rudy...well i did say something. but he's making me the bad guy" she sighs
"then speak out about it, say the truth mae" rudy suggests
"but that will just create more drama and you know i hate drama" she tells him

maeve sighs knowing he was right. maeve only hated that not only her parents but her siblings would find out, and scold her for not telling them about her relationship with jaden.

"maeve!!!" the shouting of her brother made her flinch as rudy looked over to the girl
maeve's door was open harshly as her older brother walks in with an angry expression "why in the hell—
"damian, just let—
"explain?! explain what? how for a whole year you never told any of us, how much that asshole has been hurting you!" he says in disbelief "i'm the oldest, your older brother...i'm suppose to be protecting you from assholes like him"
before he could continue maeve walks over to him and immediately hugs him "i'm sorry" she mutters into his chest. nonetheless damian hugs her back
"we're suppose to tell each other everything" he tells her
"we promised we would" a voice calls out both turning to see sofia
"i just" maeve sighs "i couldn't tell either of you"
"what did he threaten you with?" damian asks as he places his hands on her jaw making her look up at him
maeve stayed quiet as her eyes start becoming glossy
"maeve" sofia mutters
"it doesn't matt—
"maeve" rudy interrupts
all three turn to look at him "you knew?" sofia asks
"and you didn't break his scrawny ass?" damian interjects
"oh believe me i did" rudy adds
"well, do you wanna come with me to pay him a little visits?" damian asks as he let's go of maeve and starts making his way to the door
"damian!" maeve interjects
"i'm not letting him off the hook"
"we both know, the rest of the boys will stand up for him, possibly even call the cops"
damian slowly nodded his head "we'll wait for dad"

maeve wanting to clear her head and enjoy the last day in la, decided on a small road trip to antelope valley. her older siblings and rudy agreeing. but before they could leave, maeve was of course scolded by her mother, even over the phone by her father who was in vancouver filming supernatural.
