Louis POV:
"Can you stop quickly at that convenience store up there? I promised your sisters I would bring them some nail polish" Harry asked
"Yeah, what colours are you gonna get?" I ask, turning into ths dark parking lot of the small store
"Hm, I don't know. What are their favorites?" He asks
"Well Daisy likes blue and purple, Pheebs likes red and Fizzy likes all the colors. She said she doesn't like to have a favorite because she doesn't want to make the other colours feel bad" I explain
"Aw, that's adorable. I can't wait to meet them, they seem like such good kids" he said with a fond look on his face
"They're the best" I reply
The parking lot is empty because it's still very early in the morning, so I found a parking space close to the door. We parked and stepped out of the car.
I met Harry on his side of the car and leaned into his side. The snow on the ground had turned to slush, and it was slightly raining.
We got to the front of the store and stepped inside, immediately feeling the heat from the heater in the back.
I look over at the cashier and he is sleeping behind the counter. I tap on Harry's shoulder and point to the sleeping man.
He quietly snickered and pulled me to the back of the store. There was a small shelf with bottles of nail polish of many colours.
"Ooh look theres a sparkly one" I said, picking up the small glass bottle of nail polish.
Harry smiled and softly kissed my cheek, it was a random gesture but it gave me butterflies nonetheless.
"I'll get a few colours so they can choose which ones they want" he said picking up several bottles, including the sparkly one
"They're spoiled little girls. I can already tell they're going to love you." I laugh
"That's good because I'm going to be around for quite a while" he replied placing the bottles down on the counter infront of the sleeping man
I give him a soft smile and we both look at the man behind the counter, giving eachother confused looks
"Um, sir? Excuse me?" Harry spoke up, slightly shaking the mans shoulder
"BILL, WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT SLEEPING ON THE JOB?" A womans voice boomed from the back room, in a thick Texan accent.
Bill suddenly woke up, startled by the sudden outburst, and immediately started to scan the bottles of nail polish and place them in a bag. He didn't make eye contact and he didn't say anything, probably embarrassing by being yelled at.
Meanwhile, the lady who had yelled at him was watching him with narrowed eyes, leaning against the wall and smacking her gum loudly. She had bright red lipstick on, and she looked quite young.
We paid and said a quick thank you before walking towards the door
"Sorry Eleanor, I didn't realize I dozed off" I heard Bill quietly say before we stepped back outside
Once we got outside, we looked at eachother and bursted out laughing at the scene that had just played out
We got back into the car and started to drive to my house, we were only about 10 minutes away from it at this point, I recognized the store we were just at.
I couldn't help but smile as I pulled into my neighborhood, it had been so long since I was here last and since I saw my mum and sisters. Sure we called and texted every day, but it wasn't the same as seeing eachother in person
Harry picked up my hand that was resting on his leg, and brought it up to his lips, placing several kisses on the back of my hand, making me giggle.
I pulled into my driveway seeing the sun about to peak up from the horizon. From here we had the perfect view of the sunrise.
We stayed in the car for a few minutes, watching the stars disappear and the vibrant orange and red of the sunrise appear. We heard the birds begin to sing and it immediately got warmer.
I got out of the car and opened Harrys door, offering my hand for him to stand up, which he gladly took with a big smile on his face
"Such a gentleman" he said scrunching his nose
I just smiled and grabbed our luggage from the back. We made our way to the front door and I opened it.
"Louis, Harry I missed you. How are you boys doing" mum greeted us once we stepped into the house
"I missed you too" I say giving my mum a hug
"Were doing good, how are you" Harry said
"I'm good now knowing I can finally get some rest from the girls. They're all still sleeping now but once they're up, they will be all over you guys" she chuckled
I saw Harry crack a huge smile that spread across his face, showing off his dimples.
"I'll go show Harry to his room before they wake up then" I say smiling at my mum
Once we make it around the corner, I grab his hand and pull him upstairs
"I assume she wants you to sleep in the guest room, but I want to cuddle you in my bed" I said leading him into my room
He laughed and followed me into my room. I grabbed onto his waist and fell backward onto the bed, pulling him ontop of me
I took his face in between my hands and let our lips meet in the middle
"Hey guys, how was the dri-" Lottie said, walking into the room
"OH, sorry uh-" she stuttered holding in a laugh
"Shit" I said under my breath, turning bright red
Harry quickly got off of me and sat on the opposite side of the bed
"Do you guys uh, have something to tell us....or?" She said leaning against the door frame
"Uh-" I started
"I'm just joking Lou, you don't have to explain anything to anyone. So you guys are dating, yeah?" She asked
"Yeah" I said quietly
"Cool. And you must be Harry?" She asked looking at Harry
"Yeah, hi nice to meet you" he said, still slightly red because Lottie just walked in on him sticking his tounge down her brothers throat.
"Nice to meet you too" she said in a cheery voice
"The twins are gonna go crazy over your hair" she said laughing
"So I've been told" Harry replied laughing
"Don't worry guys, I'm not going to tell mum until you're are ready to come out to her, and Lou I don't think any less of you, okay?" She said ruffling my hair
"Thanks Lotts" I breathe a sigh of relief
She nods and leaves the room. Harry and I look at eachother and start laughing, partly because of embarrassment but also because it was a bit funny.
We unpacked and cuddled for about a half hour, taking cute pictures of eachother.
"Gimmie kiss" I say, nuzzling my face into his neck. It sounded alot more childish than I had anticipated it to.
"Awe baby, come here" he said looking down at me
I sat up and straddled his lap when he started to tickle my sides. I grabbed his wrists and pinned them above his head, leaning close to his face. My grip loosened and he took his hands away blushing.
I layed my hand on his cheek brushing over his chin. My lips hovering over his. He leaned forward to connect our lips together melting into the kiss.
He suddenly got a burst of confidence and slowly moved his hands to my waist, still slipping down.
The motion made me gasp and he took that moment to slip his tounge into my mouth.
His finger tips slipped under my boxers, but quickly retreated, moving over top of my clothes onto my bum.
He softly squeezed my bum, making me make a noise somewhere between a moan and a squeal.
He took his hands off and rested them on my back rubbing them up and down and in small circles.
I left a few more chaste kisses on his lips, eyes still closed
"We have to be quiet boo" he whispered into my ear
And with that I collapsed onto his chest, feeling hot and bothered, but I knew we couldn't do anything with my entire family home. It was bad enough Lottie walked in on us snogging, I don't think she would ever recover if she saw us shagging. Plus we would both die from embarrassment.
As if on cue, my phone buzzed in my pocket and I picked it up
Lottie: the girls are up if you guys want to come downstairs? Or are you guys "busy" up there ;)
I rolled my eyes and replied
Louis: we'll be down in a second
Harry gave me one last kiss on the cheek and then we made our way downstairs.
