Giyu opened the door, and sat down by the bedside. His dull blue eyes laid upon the sleeping figure. Giyu sighed, patting her on the head.
Jeez, give me a scare Sachi why don't you? It's already been a day since you passed out from exhaustion.
Giyu was a bit surprised when she started humming in response to him patting her on the head. He smiled a bit, patting her some more.
"Make sure to wake up soon, Sachi.."
He stood up, his stoic expression returning. Giyu walked out the room, closing the door softly so he wouldn't somehow wake her up, if she even did.

Tanjiro would visit Sachiko, sometimes talking about his day and how Inosuke and Zenitsu were doing. Other times he would just pat her on the head and listen to her hum.
"Sachi.. When are you gonna wake up? Don't tell me you'll be asleep for a long time like Nezuko did back then..."
Sachi just hummed, but she didn't open her eyes. Tanjiro knew why they would have to sleep for so long, but he wished that Sachiko wouldn't have to go through the process.
"I have to go back to the Butterfly Manor.. Please wake up soon, Sachi.."
Humm
Tanjiro smiled weakly before standing up and walking out the door. After he closed the door, he was met face to face with Giyu.
"How is she?"
"She hasn't woken up yet but she's still responsive with her hums."
Giyu nodded, his eyes looking distant. It was obvious that he was worried. But why? Tanjiro didn't know why Giyu was so worried for Sachiko.
"Tomioka-san..How do you know Sachi?"
"We met before she turned. She was lost at a festival I attended. She was 4 at the time and I was 13... We spent the whole time trying to look for her parents.."
Tanjiro smiled. He noticed the change of tone in Giyu's voice, going from depressed to happy as he remembered the nostalgic memory.
"She must've really liked you if she was able to let you carry her. It took Sachi a long time to talk to my mother. She's a very sweet but shy girl hehe.."
Giyu nodded, agreeing with Tanjiro's statement. Back then she only talked with Giyu, but shied away from anyone else.
They both glanced at the closed door that separated them from the room that held Sachiko. They both were wondering the same thoughts.
When will she wake up again?

2 weeks later and Sachiko still hasn't woken up. But that wasn't the worst part either. She had stopped humming whenever she was being pat on the head.
Tanjiro and Giyu were deeply concerned but Tamayo had assured them that she's just in deep sleep.
Zenitsu was still in the medical ward in the Butterfly Manor while Inosuke and Tanjiro started their rehab training. Giyu was still watching over Sachiko, checking up on her whenever he could.

6 days later, Sachiko still hasn't woken up. Zenitsu had joined the other two boys in training and also started to visit Sachiko with Tanjiro.
Inosuke wanted to visit the girl and thank her for protecting him, but his guilt ate away at the motivation to do so. He felt bad.
She protected him and now she was the one who was in terrible condition. And after hearing that she had stopped responding to any form of contact, that made him feel even more worse.

15 days later, Nezuko was moved to sleep in the same room as Sachiko. Giyu approved, knowing that Nezuko meant no harm.
Whenever Tanjiro and Zenitsu would visit, they'd always find Nezuko either cuddling Sachiko or sitting up, laying Sachiko's head on her lap.
Giyu would sometimes pat Nezuko on the head while staring distantly at Sachiko. He wondered if she would ever wake up at all.
Sachi wouldn't want this. She would want us to be strong.. I have to be strong for her and believe that she will wake up soon.

Days have passed and Sachiko still shows no signs of waking up whatsoever. Nezuko still kept by her side. Tanjiro and Zenitsu kept visiting whenever they could, but barely did since they were always exhausted from training. Inosuke started visiting but barely as well.
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke have finally mastered Total Concentration Breathing. Shinobu cleared the trio as fully recovered, meaning they could continue doing missions.

"CAW! CAW! HEAD WEST AND SUPPORT THE FIRE HASHIRA! CAW! CAW!"
Tanjiro nodded, getting his gear ready. He slipped on the wooden box after letting Nezuko enter it. He checked all his things, making sure he had everything.
"All right. Looks like everything is ready."
He headed out to the main gate, as well as Zenitsu and Inosuke. Before they can leave, Tanjiro spots Giyu.
"Hey, Tomioka-san!"
Giyu turned to him, giving off his familiar stoic expression. Tanjiro smiled, thanking Giyu for helping him, Nezuko, and Sachiko.
"You can repay me by slaying those inhumane demons. Also, there's a surprise waiting for you at the Water Manor."
Before Tanjiro can even ask about the surprise, Giyu jumped and disappeared out of thin air. Confused, Tanjiro told Zenitsu and Inosuke to wait for a moment.
Tanjiro slid the door open, before getting tackled into a hug by someone, a flash of purple appearing. His eyes widened.
No way.. Don't tell me-
"SACHI YOU'RE AWAKE?!?!"
Tanjiro hugged her tightly, crying a bit. Sachiko hummed in a delight, hugging him back.They pulled away, Tanjiro smiling after seeing her smile underneath her bamboo muzzle.
"D-Don't ever scare me like that Sachi! I thought you were gonna sleep for 6 months like Nezuko!"
Sachi nodded her head before standing up and holding her hand out, gesturing for him to take it. After he took her hand, she helped him up and they both made their way to the main gate where everyone else was waiting.
"OI KENTARO, HURRY UP OR WE'LL BE L-"
Inosuke stopped his words once his eyes laid upon Sachiko, who was sprinting towards them.
She jumped onto Zenitsu, hugging him. He would've hugged her back if it weren't for the fact that he was overwhelmed by her soft hugs.
Sachiko then pulled away and jumped onto Inosuke, hugging him tightly. Inosuke was shocked, his entire body tensing at the sudden hug. Awkwardly, he wrapped his arms around her.
After pulling away, Zenitsu wouldn't let go of Sachiko's arm, holding onto her. Tanjiro tried to pry him off but he refused.
"WHAT IF SHE FALLS ASLEEP AGAIN?!"
"Zenitsu, that's not gonna happen-"
"SHE COULD FAINT AT ANYTIME!"
"Zenitsu, she's fine-"
"SHE MIGHT DIE IF WE DON'T KEEP HER CLOSE-"
"OI, SHUT UP AND LET HER GO!"

They quietly made their way to the train station. By then, Zenitsu had fortunately let go of Sachiko's arm, but still held onto her hand. Sachi didn't mind, holding his hand as well.
While they waited for the train to depart, Sachiko had been messing with Zenitsu's hair, braiding it sometimes and other times just running her fingers through it.
Fluffy..
Zenitsu was completely red and blushing hard but he tried to keep his composure. Zenitsu and Tanjiro were talking about how they should be in the city.
"We have to hide our swords on our backs."
"What about Sachi?"
"Can't she just hide in the box with Nezuko?"
"The box only fits one person, there's no way Sachiko can shrink that sma-"
Tanjiro felt a tug on his pants. Looking down, was a miniature version of Sachiko. His heart melted, thinking about how adorable she was.
"Aahh, Kawaii~! Sachiko~san is so cutee~!!"
Zenitsu picked her up. She nuzzled against his chest. Before Zenitsu could pass out, Tanjiro quickly opened the box and put Sachiko in there.
"Hang Tight, Okay? Once we get in the train, I'll let you out."
Sachiko nodded her head before closing the door. Then Zenitsu fell to the ground, before being caught by Tanjiro.
As the train departed, they sneaked onto the back of the train. Tanjiro let out Sachiko, who went back to her original size.
"Sachi, why were you asleep for so long?"
She looked at Tanjiro and untied her muzzle. She looked down at her feet while explaining.
"M-My dreams were o-old memories.. I w-wanted to know more, s-so I slept for a long time.. I remember you, Tanjiro~kun.. The boy who's coal basket that b-broke.."
She paused for a moment before looking up and smiling at him.
"I-I don't have all my Memories but, Thank you for helping me, T-Tanjiro~kun!"
Tanjiro smiled, taking her other hand and holding onto it, tracing small circles with his thumb softly.
"Of course, Sachi. Remember what I said?"
Sachi tilted her head a bit to the side. Tanjiro gave her a even brighter smile.
"I'll help you find your мємσяιєѕ."

Wow. I honestly didn't think I'd even finish this book in the first place. I gave up after writing like the 4th chapter
