A few months have gone by since graduation. The boys have all settled back into their packed schedule. Studio recording, dance practice, performances, touring and interviews. It's business as usual. Taehyung and Jungkook try to spend as much time together as they can. Even when they are traveling to different locations you can usually find them in each others company or room. Since that conversation they had with Hobi Hyung, they feel like a weight has been lifted off of their chests. The only people that are aware of the new relationship between them are Jimin, Suga, and Hobi. They haven't been brave enough to tell Jin Hyung or Namjoon Hyung.
**Flashback to Graduation day**
Hobi: I was talking about Tae and Jungkook, but since you're denying it so vehemently, let's talk about you.
Jimin: What?..... I don't know what your talking about? (looking frantically at Tae for help)
Taehyung: Aish! Hobi Hyung, don't grill him. It's about us. (takes a deep breath). Jungkookie and I are dating. (looks at the ground anticipating yelling)
Hobi: Is this true Jungkook?
Jungkook: (sighs) Yes, Hyung.
Hobi starts dancing and clapping. He runs over and hugs the two boys.
Hobi: Why didn't you tell me sooner! I'm so happy you guys finally got together. It was starting to piss me off how clueless you were. Taekook is real!
Taekook: Huh!?
Taehyung: Hyung how did you know we were going to get together?
Hobi: It was so obvious you guys had feelings for each other. I mean come on. When have you ever kissed me, or any of us other than him, without it being a penalty? And do you remember when you guys combined your names to become "Taekook in a Cute Way". I almost got diabetes from that crap.
Suga: I know right! Even ARMY calls them that now! (laughing)
Everyone turns and looks at Suga.
Jungkook: Wait a minute! Did you already know?
Suga: (sheepishly rubs back of neck) Jimin told me.
Taekook: Jimin!
Jimin: Hyung! Why are you throwing me under the bus? I told you to act like you were surprised!
Taekook: Jimin!!
Jimin: Yah! It's hard for me to keep secrets from Suga Hyung he can see right through me!
Hobi: Is that how he found out you like him too?
Yoonmin & Taekook: Hobi WTF!
Hobi: You guys think just because I go around here being all sunshine and rainbows, I'm oblivious to stuff that is happening in the dorms and don't have any secrets. Jokes on you guys, I've been in a relationship for 6 weeks myself.
Crickets. You could literally hear crickets in the room. Everyone is speechless. How is this even possible? How could they all be in different relationships amongst themselves and the only one who is completely aware of everything is.... Hobi? And he's been dating someone for almost 2 whole months. WTF!
Taehyung is the first one to break out of the trance. He turns to Jimin.
Taehyung: Details! I'm going to need all the details later! But first, Hobi. Who is this mystery person you are speaking of?
Hobi: Her name is Lalisa, and she debuted last year with her group Black Pink. She is also a Rapper and dancer, that's what drew me to her in the first place. Would you like to see a picture?
Taekook & Yoonmin: Hell yeah!!
Taehyung: You guys are so cute!
Jimin: How did you hide this?
Suga: She got bars, I've heard her rap before.
Jungkook: So... You're straight?
**Back to present day**
The boys have had a busy year. They won the award for top social artist at the Billboard Music Awards in May. Something Yoongi likes to bring up every chance he gets. Namjoon and Taehyung released a song called 4 o' clock on SoundCloud during BTS Festa in June. The group remade Come Back Home and honored Seo Taiji & Boys to rave reviews. They have many new songs set to drop soon. All in all it has been a stellar year so far.
Taehyung is busy preparing for Jungkooks 20th birthday. He's sitting in the kitchen making a list of things he needs to do for the big day. It's going to be a special day for Taekook. They have made plans to go on a discreet date and then spend the night together. They decided that would be the day that they take their relationship to the next level.
As he was sitting at the counter Namjoon walks into the kitchen. He asks Tae if he can talk to him in the common room for a minute. Tae follows him into the common room and is surprised to see Jin and Jungkook already there. He makes eye contact With Jungkook who looks just as confused as him. Wondering what is going on, Tae goes and sits next to Kookie on the couch. Namjoon goes and sits on the arm of Jin's chair.
Namjoon: Guys, first of all I want you both to know that we care about you both. That being said, we have noticed that you guys seem a lot closer than you used to be. We just wanted to know if there was anything you wanted to tell us?
Taehyung: What.... I... What are you talking about Hyung? We have always been close.
Jin: Don't be scared guys. What Joonie is trying to say is that. We love you guys and will always support you, no matter what. You can tell us anything. Jungkook is there something you want to say?
Jungkook: Umm..... Well maybe...
Jin: You can tell us anything.
Jungkook: Well... Umm... I'm in love with Taehyung.
Taehyung: KOOKIE! I thought we agreed to keep the hyungs out of this.
Jungkook: I know Tae! But I'm tired of hiding my feelings and our relationship. I'm not ashamed of it. It's bad enough we have to hide when we are in public, but we also have to hide at home? Aren't you tired of that? If I had my way everyone would know you are mine now, even ARMY.
Taehyung: Aww! Kookie I feel the same way. I agree that we should be able to be ourselves at home. I was just worried that the hyungs wouldn't understand us. I mean just because they are in a relationship with each other doesn't mean they would support ours.
Namjin: What!!!!!!!
