While Tremaine sat on the end of his bed playing the game with Carson beside him, on his stomach watching, I picked up the mess rom around his room because even though he didn't mind it, it drove me crazy
"You know you don't have to walk over stuff you see sitting in your floor right. You can pick it up"
"That's what I got you for" Tremaine responded and I looked at him, picking up the shirt off the ground then threw it at him but he caught it, laughing
"I'm glad that's funny to you"
"It is.. chill out and stop tryina be my momma. Come sit down"
"No. You need to clean your room"
"I will"
"When?"
"That don't matter. Come on" he grabbed my hand and pulled me on his lap before resuming the game
"So I see you gotta lotta stuff from Florida. That must be where you plan on going"
"Yeah. I been thinking hard on it"
"Andddd?"
"That's where I might just end up going"
"Well that's good. I'm happy for you...."
"Not and you sound like that" he chuckled
"Sounding like what?"
"Like you'on want me to go"
"I mean I don't but at the same time I do"
Tremaine paused the game and looked at me "elaborate"
"What?"
"You heard me" he responded while he laid back on the bed. Carson looked over at Tremaine and I stood up off of his lap
"Nah sitcho ass back down. I told you to elaborate"
"Well sit up so we can talk then"
Tremaine looked over at Carson and shook his head "yo momma doing too much"
Carson smiled at Tremaine and attempted to crawl on him so I just picked him up and placed him on top of Tremaine before standing up again
"Forreal though Tremaine. I'm happy for you because you deserve everything you got coming for you and I only want the best for you"
"But...???"
"I just don't wantchu to forget about me when you leave"
"Why would I forget about you"
I shrugged "you gone be in Florida with all the pretty ass girls and you already know they gone be all over you"
"No they ain't"
I looked at him some type of way and he laughed sitting up, setting Carson on his lap in the process
"Stop thinking too much. Everything gone be the same as it is now. We gone FaceTime everyday, ima come home when I can and when I do you already know what we doing"
"That's whatchu say now until you get out there and the minute you meet one of them girls the only egypt you gone know is the country"
"Wha- Egyptttt chill with that. You already know I love you and I only got eyes for you"
Tremaine grabbed one of my hands. His momma walked in the room and before he could say anything to her she cut him off
"I ain come for you. I came to get my baby"
"What baby? I'm the only baby you got"
"You a whole grown man. I'm talkin bout Carson"
She grabbed Carson from Tremaine causing him to suck his teeth
"How you gone take my boy like that?"
"Tell Tremaine bye" Mrs Tomeka told Carson who just laid his head on her chest as she walked out the room
"That lady ain right"
I laughed "you know Carson loves the women"
Just like his daddy... I thought to myself
"Well he better back his ass off my momma"
"Why? You be on his momma all the time?" I asked while I walked up close to him and picked something out of his hair
"Correction. Ion be on his momma. I be IN his momma"
"Oh my gosh- why you gotta be nasty?"
"I ain lying though... and I'm trying get in you right now"
"Not and yo momma here AND Carson"
"When his daddy come home?"
When he brought up Christian I bit the insides of my cheeks. Christian hasn't been home since he left that day he kissed me and we only talk through text message when it concerns Carson. I still never told Tremaine about the kiss because I didn't wanna start no drama so I'm praying Christian won't even bring it up while he's home
"He supposed to be back tomorrow"
"Mhhhh.. and keeping Carson for Christmas or what?"
"Well he couldn't come home last month to see him so I told him he could get him that day but Christmas morning, he's gonna be with me. I can't not spend my babies first Christmas without him.. what y'all doing?"
"Ion know. We probably gone be here cause my momma don't fuck with nobody"
"I mean ion blame her"
"Yeah. And ima find out who said some shit to her the other day too"
"What?"
"Everytime she go somewhere somebody always got some to say about her being outta jail. And my grandma said the other day somebody blurted out in the store they should've gave my momma the death penalty"
"I hate ignorant people"
"Yeah me too" he muttered as music boomed outside. Tremaine got up and walked past me, going straight to his blinds peeping outside. "Loud ass mufuckas"
"Who that?"
Instead of answering me he just went to his closet and started rummaging through his stuff before stuffing something in his pocket and stepped out the closet
"Ima be right back"
"Where you going?"
"I said ima be right back. Just chill out"
I rolled my eyes as he walked out of the room and went outside. I went to the window and peeped outside seeing Carlos' car. Tremaine hopped in the passenger seat and I sighed
I hated Tremaine hanging with Carlos and Junior because they were never up to no good. From what Akira told me, Carlos decided not to go to the military and chose to stick to the streets and junior.. he basically follows Carlos around.
Eventually I left the window and went back to sit on his bed
"Egypt" his momma walked back into the room "your momma home?"
"Yes ma'am"
"Alright. I need to go talk to her real quick. You want me to take Carson with me or-"
"You can take him. She wanted him back over there later on anyways so she can try on some clothes she brought him"
"Y'all got this boy spoiled"
"That's everybody but me. I don't even think he think he's my baby nomore"
"Cause he got so much love.. come on Carson. Lemme getchu across the street"
She walked out of the room and I could hear her leave but as she did, I guess Tremaine came back in the house
"Egypt!" He walked in the room "where she taking Carson?"
"Back to my house"
"Why?"
"Okay daddy. My bad I didn't ask you for permission on where MY son can go"
"I already told you. That's MY son. Fuck the rest of y'all"
"Fuck you" I thought I said to myself, however I said it out loud and Tremaine looked at me
"Damn, you gettin bold ain it?"
I looked him up and down before grabbing my phone, feeling him push me back on the bed
"Whatchu doingggg tremaineeee?!"
He crawled on me then leaned down and kissed my neck "we got the house to ourself real quick"
"Yeah but who knows how long?"
"All I need is 5 minutes"
"5 minutes?"
"Mhmm now come on" he mumbled against my neck while pulling my pants down
