This is me being a nerd segment
Author: If you see closely, Klaus and North Shaw represents the two bishops. Tiger and Cool Joe represent one castle. Blok the knight. Rasta being the king and Shakes being the queen. Now it make seem weird but what if it shows how the players act like as chess pieces.
Rasta is the king because he leads and is important in every game. If he falls, the team falls. We can see it in Season 6 Episode (13), The Crunch. The team need Ratsa's moral support to function as well as leadership
Shakes is the queen as he is shown to be the most dangerous piece on the board as well as being the piece that everyone hunts or protects. Not to mention he is the head striker and has a knack of getting lost and found with solving dilemma or problems when the opposition team cheats
Blok as the knight since the knight moved in an L shaped form and have the ability to jump over pieces. Showing us that his tackling doesn't interfere with other people. Which is perfect as Blok is dubbed as the number #1 tackler in the Super League.
Klaus and North Shaw represents the two bishops. Bishops are used in long range and sneak up and kill the pieces. Klaus and North Shaw may look harmless but when the opportunity comes, they grab it and become very dangerous.
Twisting Tiger and Cool Joe represent the one castle. I know it's sad they have to share. Anyways in chess, there's a move called castling where the king will move two space closest to the nearest castle and the castle hops over for defence. This could show that Rasta need Joe and Tiger to cover his back when playing midfield.
