CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR
They're ride back to the house was in comfortable silence. Nothing but smiles on their faces and stolen glances at each other as Oscar drove. The radio played in the background softly and Nina slips her hand in his. Oscar looks over at his novia and their eyes meet momentarily. With a soft laugh, Oscar looks back at the road.
Not long later they pull up to the house, still baffled by the fact they were staying here for a few days. Oscar locks the door behind them as Nina makes her way to the bedroom. She places her bag down on a nearby chair as Oscar walked up behind her. He wraps his arms around her waist before showering her with kisses.
"I love you," he whispered with such sincerity as he continued to kiss her sweetly.
"I love you," Nina whispered turning to him and kissing him on the lips. Her hands traveled to the back of his neck as his hands found her hips to pull her in closer.
They began to feel that similar high the first time they got together. The same high they both felt when Oscar came back home. Both smiling and giggling as if they were teenagers, they're feet had carried them all the way to the foot of the bed. Which was still a mess since their pillow fight earlier that day.
Nina squirmed a little as they fell on the bed. Oscar snorted as she fell on top of him. He sits up a little as Nina straddled his lap. He smiles softly tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"I feel like I keeping having to brush your out of your face," he pointed out making her snicker.
"Shut up you like doing it anyway," she nodded making him smile.
"It's become a habit," he admitted before kissing her again.
The kiss was hungrier than the last as Oscar slipped in his tongue into Nina's mouth. He had one hand on her waist and the other on the back of her neck. Nina pulled him in closer unknowingly beginning to buck her hips against his making Oscar groan.
Nina hurriedly takes off his jacket and flings it some where on the floor. A groan escapes his lips as he kissed her jawline and all the way down her neck. Oscar's lips find the sweet spot on her neck and begins to suck on it gently. Just with the fluttering feeling of his lips on her soft skin makes her toes curl as she sinks her teeth into her lower lip in pleasure.
She easily gets rid of her jacket as well, taking notice of Oscar tugging on the hem of her sweater. His hands ride up her torso lifting her sweater as well as the shirt underneath and tossed it onto the floor leaving Nina in her bra. At which he takes a moment to look.
"Is this new?" He asked looking at the fit on her chest.

Oscar nodded and hummed before using his thumb to trace her bottom lip. "But I prefer it off," he whispered to her smirking a little.
Nina smiled a little before taking it Oscar's thumb in her mouth to suck on it. She kept eye contact as she swiftly unclasps her bra. Taking his thumb out of her mouth, she grabs his wrist to slowly trace his hand down her chest to the valley off her breasts. Oscar felt eager and over the edge as he took off Nina's bra rather quickly than he thought.
"I fucking love you," he muttered before kissing her again as Nina smiled into the kiss.
Oscar lifts her up a little so he could gently lay her on the bed. He kisses down her chest and begins to kiss her breasts making Nina moan loudly. She whimpers as he takes her nipple into his mouth to suck all the while tweaking the other with his free hand.

Oscar groaned as he began to unbuckle his belt and take his pants off, with his boxers going along with. During this time, Nina slides off her jeans and panties. As the cool air in the room brushes against her sensitive bud making her whimper at Oscar's slightest touch.
Before they could go any further, Oscar reaches in to the pocket of his pants and pulls out a condom packet. His action had rendered Nina a little speechless.
"That was in your pocket the whole time?" she pointed out.
"I honestly thought we were gonna do it in the car," he admitted.
"Damn, you could've pulled that out by accident at anytime," Nina added in a whisper.
"Stop talking," Oscar said rather sternly as he ripped the packet open with his teeth. He's done this before but Nina was turned on by it every time.

It took awhile for them to notice that their bodies were beginning to break sweat despite the cool room in the cold wind of Christmas. Nina pulled away humming, still feeling a little high from what just happened. "That felt amazing," she closed her eyes. "Now, that had had to be the best sex I've ever had," she added leaning into his touch.
"That wasn't sex, baby. I think we just made love," Oscar pointed out rather cockily making Nina stifle a soft laugh.
"Well we made bomb ass love," Nina looked at him with a smile on her. She shifts a little to rest on her head on his chest. "Hey," she called to him softly.
"¿Qué es eso, mi amor?"
Nina's heart skipped a beat hearing the new pet name Oscar had given her. The smile on his face made her heart melt even more. "Feliz Navidad, mi amor."

The house was cold during their Christmas morning. It took awhile but Nina was able to handle and control the heater to put everything in a comfortable temperature. She was wearing one of Oscar's button up accompanied by a pair of fuzzy and warm Christmas socks that went up her mid calf.
Oscar was in the middle of making breakfast as Nina flipped through her phone and decided to play Christmas tunes on the speakers. Little did Oscar know, Nina was beginning to pull off some Tom Cruise scene from Risky Business. She was dancing around to Jingle Bell Rock in her underwear as she was sliding across the kitchen floor like a complete idiot.
"Okay, at first I thought this was going to be hot but you just look funny," Oscar judged placing a plate of food down on the counter.
Nina only laughed as she sat down on the stool across him. "Yea well, you're stuck with me either way," she said putting a slice of fruit in her mouth.
The both of them were slightly amazed at how the place was stocked with food. Victoria told them that they were free to use anything in the house as long as they cleaned up and replace what they could soon after. Either way, the family that had left this for them was completely chill with them using the house.
"And I believe those are mine," Oscar said reaching across to grab his shades that Nina was apparently wearing.
"It completes the look!" Nina argued as she watched Oscar put on the glasses. She couldn't help but find him extremely attractive. "Damn, my baby be lookin' good!" she whistled as Oscar smirked and tilted his head.
"It ain't easy, mami," he nodded at Nina making her shake her head.
Nina took her fork before getting a bite of her food. "I'll never get tired of your cooking," she moaned.
"Like if I had to have a reason to marry you, it'll be because of you're cooking," she added taking another bit of her breakfast.
"So you won't marry me because you love me?" Oscar raised his eyebrow as Nina shook her head jokingly followed by a laugh. "Pendeja," he snorted taking a sip of the hot chocolate Nina made before she decided to dance like an idiot.
"That's what happens when I hang out with you, cabrón," Nina retaliated before continuing eating.
Oscar laughed before going back to eating himself. "So what do you want to do today?" Oscar asked taking a bite of his food. Even he was impressed with how good he cooked.
"If I'm being honest?" she begins with a sigh. "I wanna go back to Freeridge."
Oscar furrowed his eyebrows, "Pero nosotros acabamos de llegar."
"Sí, lo sé," Nina nodded. "But it's Christmas and I miss Victoria and the twins. I only want to spend Christmas with my family," she explained placing her hand on top of his.
"Plus, we got this entire house until New Years. It's not like it's going anywhere," Nina added with a shrug. "And we got lots of extra time to fuck around... I-I-I MEAN m-mess around the house."
Oscar snorted at her sudden panic. "I guess you're right about that and... everything else you said."
"And I do have gifts for you and your family but they're back at the house with Sad Eyes," He added remembering momentarily that Sad Eyes told him to chill in the Santos trap house while he was gone.
"I forget that Sad Eyes is watching the house," Nina admitted watching Oscar eat for a moment. "Do they even know you're here?"
"I said I'd be away with for a few days but I didn't say where," he smirked. "You don't really want some cholos and cholas hanging out in the drive way do you?"
Nina laughed. "No. I guess not."
"I'm surprised they haven't tracked you down for business yet," she added before eating a forkful of food.
"Nah, it's the holidays. Business becomes a little slow this time around," Oscar shook his head. "Things go back on track after the holidays and shit," he added taking a sip of the hot chocolate and stifled a soft moan. Damn that shit is good.
"How are you guys? Business wise, I mean," Nina asked before taking a sip from her won mug.
"It's nothing you have to worry about, amor," he said placing his hand on top of hers. Even slightly caressing her hand using the pad of his thumb
Nina hummed and smiled. "Is Cesar coming over for Christmas?"
Oscar looked at her and noticed the small glimmer in her eyes at the mention of his brother's name. For a moment, he had forgotten his ruse about keeping the actual situation absent from any of her knowledge. He shook her head before pulling away and going back to his meal.
"But it's Christmas. We could have him over for a day and I don't have any problem with that," Nina frowned.
"You aren't the problem Nina," he replied flatly referring to his boss.
"Screw that bitch! It's Christmas," she cursed as Oscar looked at his plate.
"I wouldn't say that about her. She's not someone to disrespect."
"I just don't get it. How can one kid do so much damage? It's not like he killed a Prophet."
Oscar looked at her, noticing her change in mood talking about Cesar. She will never understand the truth Oscar was trying to protect her from. So of course he chose to keep lying to her and pretend that the situation wasn't more serious on his part.
"You know it's more complicated than that," Oscar replied noticing how sad Nina had become.
"I know I just miss that kid," she admitted poking at her bacon.
"Yea. Me too," he muttered.
Nina jerks up a little bit in realization. "Oh my God, we could invite him here! It'll be away from Freeridge, away from most of the Santos. We're closer to downtown so not that much bad shit would happen right? I mean-"
"Nina-"
"-we could bring him over, the place has like two other rooms! We could have V and the twins over-"
"Nina-"
"-and it's not like Cuchillos has to know where he is or where we are. And you would finally get to see him after all this-"
"Nina!"
Oscar had finally snapped causing Nina to jump in her seat a little bit. He didn't know how much longer this rouse could last but it's not like everything will be the same between them when she tells her the truth about Cesar.
"We can't bring Cesar here either. If he's around me or you, puts him and us in danger-"
"Me? I'm not even a Santo," Nina pointed out as Oscar sighed deeply running a hand over his face. He had suddenly felt stressed.
"I know, I know," he heaved. "It just can't happen," he pressed making Nina look at him confused and slightly hurt.
"Cuchillos has more power and information about everything than you think. Which means, it'll take more time before we can see Cesar again," he breathed heavily trying his best to explain what he could. "Things can't go back to normal so easily with what happened. Or else we'll all be dead to Cuchillos."
Oscar silently prayed that Nina would simply dropped the subject. But of course when it came to topics like this, he could only expect the latter. "He's just a kid. He shouldn't be punished for it when two of his friends got shot in the process."
"That's because it's not on him. It's on me," Oscar replied rather harshly. What he said was true for the matter but a part of him still blamed his brother for not getting the job done as asked. In the end both of them had to take the fall.
Cesar was obviously hurting and had hit rock bottom being homeless and being turned on the only family he ever had. The only people he could really hand on to were his friends but that was it. With Oscar keeping this a secret from Nina, he really didn't know how long this was going to last. The truth was beginning to eat him up from the inside. But in his head, it would be something Nina could never understand without hating him for the rest of her life.
"What happened with Latrelle wasn't handled as expected so I had to take the fall. Making this truce with the Prophet$ the moment we found out Olivia died, doing so saves Ruby's ass the moment he's out from the hospital," he explained still keeping his hard tone. "Cesar just wasn't so lucky but it was either he had to go or the Santos had to suffer one by one."
"Had to go?" Nina asked softly trying to look into Oscar's eyes. "You didn't just make him leave the house did you? You kicked him out of the Santos?"
Oscar grit his teeth knowing he had fucked up in the moment. It really was just a matter of time before Nina would uncover the truth.
"Nina-"
"I get it," Nina cut him off nodding a little. Oscar's heart stopped not really knowing what to anticipate next. "Cuchillos made you kick him out to protect the rest of the Santos, by that I mean your image and the image of the Santos. So, because of that you're making him bounce from house to house to protect him and you're a little hurt by what happened."
"Hurt?"
"Yea because like you said, things weren't handled properly as you'd hope and that's on you. You're boss is breathing down your neck and Cesar is.. God knows where and you seem to be.. blaming yourself for it," Nina concluded.
"Baby," she began again as she placed her hand on top of his. "You gotta stop blaming yourself for what happened. This was out of your control this time. But you're making sure he's safe by staying with some of the Santos," Nina continued as she caressed his hand.
Oscar was slightly amused at how Nina was able to catch on with what happened and created a somewhat different scenario entirely. When in truth, she had barely scratched the surface of what actually went down between Cesar and the Santos. For the mean time, Oscar was gonna let Nina believe what she wanted to believe.
"Mira," Oscar sighed as he decided to play with Nina's fingers. "Let's just drop it okay?"
Nina only nodded as she could only imagine how hurt Oscar was with how he was forced to kick his own brother out of the house. They were still holding hands but Nina could tell that what they discussed was weighing on Oscar a little bit.
"Hey," Nina called squeezing his hand a little making him look at her. "I love you," she said offering him a small smile. Just like that Oscar softened looking into her eyes.
"I love you," he smiled back.
In the middle of their breakfast, Nina called Victoria up to tell her that they were coming home to celebrate their Christmas lunch like always. The two of them left the house early so they could help Victoria prepare. When the twins found out, they were excited knowing their tia was coming back for the day. They were also excited knowing Oscar was cooking for them again. They loved Nina and Victoria's cooking but no one was good as their tío Oscar.
They made it back to Freeridge and the twins run to their feet, hugging their legs until Victoria had to pry them off. They went straight to cooking while the kids were watching TV and even taking some naps in between until Victoria told them to shower and wear something nice.
The twins came out of the shower soon. They watched them cook as Victoria was playing some tunes. Penelope kept pushing Alex to dance with her but in the end she had convinced Victoria to dance with her instead. Alex got jealous and decided to join them. Both Nina and Oscar watched for a moment until Penelope started jumping up and down telling them to join them.
Nina turned to her novio smiling as a means to convince him to dance. Oscar shook his head in refusal as he said he had to watch the food before it could burn. Nina hugged him from behind and kissed the back of his neck as she really wanted to dance with him. Eventually he gave in and started dancing with her making the twins act happy.
Victoria smiled at the two of them, a part of her could only wish she could be in a relationship like her sister's. But in the mean time, she had her two kids and she was happy with that. Victoria watched Nina and Oscar as they held each other close and smiling at each other. At one point Oscar had stolen a kiss from Nina making the kids exclaim how gross adults were. Victoria could only laugh at her kids before looking back at the couple and wonder how much they reminded her of their parents.
Eventually they get to eating. Nina asked if they had opened any gifts yet but Victoria had managed to keep the kids waiting until they arrived. At which reminded Oscar to get their gifts from the house across the street. As they finished up on their lunch Oscar asks Nina to accompany her across the street.
"SPOOKY!!!!"
The two of them were greeted by Sad Eyes, Gabriel, and Martín eating food from Dwayne's joint as they were sprawled out on the living room.
"Aye what are you doing back home, compa?" Sad Eyes stood up and walked over to him. "Merry Christmas by the way," he nodded before bringing him into one of those bro hugs.
"Nina wanted to spend Christmas with Victoria and the twins," Oscar explained tilting his over to Nina. He walked over to the two other cholos before heading into his room to get the gifts
"Merry Christmas, Sad Eyes," Nina smiled before standing on her tip toes to give him a hug. Damn this guy was tall.
"Merry Christmas," Sad Eyes replied pulling away. "Hey, you tell him you love him yet?" he asked with a smirk making Nina nod proudly as a reply.
"You two getting married yet or what?" Martín teased making Nina laugh.
"You can't rush it man," Gabriel slapped Martín's arm. "But when it happens can I be like best man or something?"
Nina chuckled at them. "Y'all are weird as fuck ma-"
She jumps hearing a high pitched bark coming from Oscar's room. "Since when did you guys get a dog?" Nina asked as Oscar walked out carrying a paper bag full of gifts and a Blue Staffy puppy on his other hand.
"Merry Christmas, mi amor," Oscar smiled looking down on the puppy before handing the dog over to Nina.
"You got my family a dog?" Nina cooed as she took the smiling puppy in her arms. "Hi baby!!" she cooed as the puppy began licking her face.
"I mean you did say you wanted a baby."

Sooooooo Nina still doesn't know the truth about wassup with Cesar but you know, I'll let these kids have their fun.... for now 😏
