Harley, Gabriel and Cassie sat together working on their school profile.

"Name," Cassie said. "Cassie Taylor."

"Harley Walker," Harley typed in.

"Gabriel Miller," Gabriel said.

"Interests," Harley read.

Harley typed in photography and videography.

"Gabe?" Cassie said as she typed her interests.

"Yes?"

"Do you prefer going by Gabriel or Gabe?" she asked.

"I don't mind either," he shrugged.

He typed in writing under interests.

Cassie nodded.

"Favorite movie?" Cassie read.

"Empire Strikes Back," Gabriel and Harley said in unison.

Harley smiled as he typed that in.

"Favorite TV show?" Gabriel said. "Hands down, Daredevil on Netflix is the best show ever."

"Ooh, that is a good show," Harley agreed. "But I gotta put in..."

"Friends," Cassie said.

"Uh - huh," Harley nodded in agreement.

"Favorite song?" Gabriel read.

"Uhhh..." Harley tried to figure it out.

They all typed in their favorite songs.

They finished up their profile, which didn't take too long.

"Are you guys doing anything this weekend?" Gabriel asked Harley and Cassie.

"I'm going to audition for the school play after school on Friday," Cassie said.

"And I will be covering the auditions for the yearbook," Harley said.

They put their laptops in their backrooms and got up to walk.

"Are you doing anything on Saturday?" Gabriel asked.

"No," Harley shook his head.

"I have this family thing," Cassie said. "Why?"

"Caleb and I were going to hang out with this girl, Lily, this weekend and wanted to see if you wanted to come," Gabriel asked.

"I can make it," Harley shrugged.

"I'll try, but no promises."

The bell rang and they headed to class.

An hour later, Cassie and Harley walked out to see Riley, Maya, Gabriel, Farkle and Lucas together.

"... I just feel like I really get Jexica," Lucas said.

"Hey, guys," Harley greeted them.

"Hey," Gabriel said.

"Have you heard of this girl named Jexica?" Farkle asked.

"Oh, yeah," Cassie said. "She seems cool."

"I've heard of her," Harley said.

"Uh - huh," Farkle said. "She's a mystery woman. A mystery makes a woman very intriguing."

"I went to summer camp with her," Zay said, leaning against the locker.

They all turned to Zay.

Lucas reached over and pulled Zay over to them.

"What do you guys think of inviting her over to hang out with us after school?" Lucas asked Cassie and Harley.

"Um, yeah, alright," Harley shrugged.

"That's a good idea," Cassie smiled.

"Awesome," Lucas smiled.

***

After school that day, Harley and Cassie headed over to Cassie's house to work on their homework. They managed to finish it before dinner time.

Cassie's parents were welcoming enough to let Harley join them for dinner.

When they finished dinner, Cassie's mother had brought them some chocolate cake and candy for them to eat as they finished up their homework.

"Oh, thank you," Harley smiled at the woman.

"Anytime, Harley," she said, smiling at him.

Harley and Cassie began eating the dessert that Cassie's mother had brought them and were able to finish up the homework they had left.

Harley soon had to go home.

Cassie's parents refused to let Harley walk home. He insisted that it's fine that he walks home all the time, but they refused. Mr. Taylor drove him home.

Harley thanked him for the ride and said goodbye as he got out of the car.

Harley entered his family's unit to see his mother with a man. They were both laughing.

"Oh, Harley," Elizabeth said, seeing her son enter.

"Hey," Harley said, staring at the man.

"James, this is my oldest son, Harley," Elizabeth said. "Harls, this is James."

"Hi," Harley said, unsure of what to think of the man.

"Hello," James said.

He had a British accent.

"How was school?" Elizabeth asked.

"Alright," Harley shrugged as he set his apartment keys on the counter. "I was at Cassie's place."

"What did you two do?"

"Just homework," Harley shrugged. "I'm - I'm going to my room."

"Did you have dinner?" Elizabeth asked as her son walked to his room.

"Yeah!" Harley called to his mother as he disappeared into his bedroom.

He dropped his backpack by his desk and jumped onto his bed.

Harley grabbed his camera from the nightstand and turned it on. He laid on his back as he began scrolling through the pictures he had taken.

Moments later, his mother entered his room.

"Hey," Elizabeth said.

"Hi," Harley said, his arms dropping.

His camera rested on his stomach as Elizabeth walked over to him.

"Who's James?" Harley asked.

"He's a friend," Elizabeth said.

"Do you like him?" Harley asked.

She hesitated. "Yes," she said. "I do."

"Are you dating him?"

"No," Elizabeth said, "but we're in the talking stages."

"How did you meet him?"

"We met on set."

"Mom?"

"Yes?"

"Do you see anything happening between him?"

She hesitated again.

"Mom, I'm fourteen," she reminded her.

"Yes, I do," Elizabeth finally answered, "but I won't do anything until I know you and your brother are fine with it."

Harley took a deep breath.

"Are you fine with it?"

Harley bit his lip, thinking for a moment.

"Yeah, I think so," Harley nodded.

Elizabeth smiled and kissed his forehead.

"Did you talk to Peter about it yet?"

"Not yet," Elizabeth said, "but I will when he gets home."

"'Kay," he siad.

"It matters to me if you like James," Elizabeth said.

"What do you want me to do?" Harley wondered.

"Well, James wants to take you and Peter out," she said.

Harley sat up.

"Okay," he said.

"Make sure you don't do anything on Saturday," Elizabeth said.

He nodded.

"Where is he taking us?"

"Well, he knows how much you two love baseball," she smiled.

"Wait, is he - is he taking us to -?"

"A baseball game?" she finished. "Yeah, he got tickets."

A smile appeared on his face.

Elizabeth smiled seeing how happy the mention of a baseball game made Harley.

"Come," she said.

She stood up and extended her hand. Harley took her hand and got out of bed.

He walked out of his room with his mother.

James was sitting there, drinking his tea.

He looked up from his cup.

"I was telling Harley that you got tickets to the baseball game this weekend," Elizabeth told James.

"Oh, yeah," he smiled.

"How did you get the tickets?" Harley asked. "It was sold out."

"I was able to pull so strings," he said, casually.

"I - h - " Harley stuttered.

Elizabeth chuckled at her son's reaction.

Harley smiled a little knowing that he was going to the upcoming weekend's baseball game.
