A reminder of the movie for y'all, remember these 3? They're the bimbettes according to Google and their names are Paulette, Claudette and Laurette.
You looked at your cousins, Paul, Claud, and Lauri who were all busy fan boying over Gabriel again. You honestly couldn't understand what they saw in the girl, sure she was pretty and she had curves in the right places but her morals weren't. She was downright one of the rudest person you know out of everyone in the entire town. She cared for no one! Not even Le Fou the sweet short girl who followed her everywhere to meet her needs like some servant. You couldn't help but feel bad for the girl. Turning your attention off the book again when you heard a squeal of frustration. Looking up you saw a drenched Le Fou and your hopelessly in love cousins gawking at the figure that walked by. The 3 of them somehow managed to pump water out in the wrong way and ended up getting Le Fou drenched. You sighed hurriedly making your way to the sniffling girl who was trying to dry her clothes while simultaneously holding all of Gabriel's stuff and chasing after the snooty woman who was completely unaware of her friend's mishap.
"Le Fou! Do You need help with those baggages."
The girl turned around to your running figure.
"Umm...no you don't need to...I-I can do this! I have to help Gabriel hold these but thank you..." Her voice small and her figure trembling at the cold. You sighed at her absolute loyalty to Gabriel despite how badly she was treated. Sighing again you gave her a smile before taking out your handkerchief and wiping Le Fou's face like you would do when you were younger for the triplets. Le Fou's face softened and her eyes started watering at the kindness you had shown her. You could see in her eyes that she has not felt kindness in along time from a friend.
"Would you like to change your clothes?" You asked in a soft voice. The shorter girl gave you a small nod and you grabbed her hand and one of her or rather Gabriel's baggages to your little shop where you sold clothing for the townspeople. When the sweet girl realized that you had taken some of the baggage she gave you the sweetest smile you've ever seen and you promised that from now on this girl will be your newly adopted little sister.
Passing by your 3 cousins you smacked each and everyone of them on the back of their heads and sticking your tongue out at them as they looked at you in disbelief when you broke them out of their trance. Honestly they were very nice boys and were quite helpful and kind but their only downfall was their obsession for Gabriel. Oh well you had to take care of Le Fou right now. Unbeknownst to you a brown hair man was looking at you with a new found sparkle in his eye when he saw everything you had done.
Entering your shop as the bell dinged at your arrival you welcomed the small shivering girl into your shop with a comforting smile. Taking her packages and putting it behind the counter you took her measurements before finding a silky flowy white and pink dress with small embroidered flowers you handed it to her along with a gold corset similar to the one you loved to wear. She looked at you in shock at the beautiful dress in your hand before slowly taking the dress from your head.
"T-thank you!"
You giggled at her before patting her head.
"Anything for a friend and sister."
The happiness that shown from her eyes at what you had said made you want to hug her right now. Gesturing her to follow you to the dressing room you showed her a basket to put the wet clothes as well as a new pair of stockings and shoes. Handing her a clean towel and asking if she needed a bath to bathe herself which the girl politely declined to.
"Le Fou while you change I'm going to take your packages to Gabriel for you and grab some macaroons for us!"
"Oh okay...thanks (Y/N) for... everything."
Smiling her at her again before giving her a tight hug despite her wet clothes. You waved at her before heading out.
The bags were quite heavy and you were shocked at the amount of strength the girl must have. You had seen Gabriel enter the tavern so you headed there. The bags were piled quite high and blocked your view slightly. Bumping into a tall figure you landed on your butt with a small "Oomph." Laughing at your clumsiness you gathered the bags that had fallen into a neat assembly and stood up. Sheepishly you smiled before hurriedly apologizing to the figure.
"No, it's no problem at all." The male responded in a soft rumble of a laugh. His voice was deep but also soft and soothing. Your back shivered at the voice.
"Do you need help with bags (Y/N)?"
"That would be nice, Benjamin. Thank you!"
"Hey! Why are you using my entire first name just call me Ben."
Chuckling at his adorable pouting you couldn't help but pinch his squishy cheeks playfully. You had quite the soft spot for adorable things.
"Okay Ben!"
The boy's face erupted at your sudden action. 'Cute.'
"So umm, where are we headed to with these?" Gesturing to the bags that were on the floor.
"To the tavern! I'm delivering these to Gabriel for Le Fou!"
He smiled knowingly before grabbing half the bags for you.
Entering the tavern the strong smell of alcohol and oak hit your nose immediately. The entire room was dimly lit with candles and the tables were filled with people drinking beer and other things that you were not familiar with. You weren't much of a drinker. You looked around for Gabriel who was at the center of attention, your cousins nearby of course with googly eyes at her. Gabriel of course paid no attention to them at all. She was busy admiring herself in the mirror. You internally vomited and shook your head at your hopeless cousins. Gabriel had noticed you, or rather Ben with her bags in her hand before rushing over pushing her chest and butt out for the boy.
"Oh Benny poo~ You brought my bags for me oh how sweet."
You noticed the poor boy's discomfort with how closely the girl had latched herself onto his arm. Gabriel showed no interest to your 3 cousins but took an incredible large amount of interest to the man next to you.
"Actually I was helping (Y/N) with your bags that you left Le Fou to carry for you."
Gabriel turned to you finally noticing your presence. Her eyes narrowed and she takes at you before turning back to Ben.
"Oh...well you still came to see me!" Fluttering her eyelashes and looking at him innocently while simultaneously shaking her hips seductively. Most men would easily fall for such actions but Ben pushed her off of him before grabbing your hand and making his way out of the tavern.
"Ugh that girl infuriates me. She is the rudest person on this entire earth! She has looks but she holds nothing for her personality! Her entire behavior slurs her looks I just ugh!" The boy started rambling exasperated.
You could only look on while laughing. At your voice he turned back around to you embarrassed that you had saw him like that.
"Umm...I heh...."
"Pfft, it's okay I agree with you 100%! But let's say if she was a nicer person would you fall in love with her?" You had the sudden urge to ask and like most days your actions and words were not backed up by prior logical thinking.
"No! I... already have someone I like."
"Ooh who is it please tell!"
The two of you had began walking to the bakery for the macaroons that you had promised Le Fou. Paying for the dozen of macaroons you continued guessing names of all the girls in the village.
"Cecile?"
"Nope."
"Roselle?"
"No way!"
"Than who? I've guessed everyone already!"
"You missed someone."
"No I didn't!"
You had stopped by the doors of your shop and just noticed that he had walked you all the way to your doors. The town bell ring signaling that is was 5 pm. Noticing the time Ben's face paled.
"Ben? What's wrong?"
"I have a book that I want to read and it arrives at 5 and I need to pick it up! Or else someone else will buy it!" Running off waving you couldn't help but smile at his love for books and waved back at him. Sighing you wondered who could he possibly like? Who did you miss when you were guessing?
Opening the doors to your store again you noticed a absolutely adorable looking Le Fou waiting for you.
"Oh Le Fou! You look incredible!"
"Oh! Really? I - thank you!"
You smiled before taking a seat next to you. Pouring the two of you a cup of tea as you pulled out the macaroons excitedly.
"So I didn't know what flavor you wanted to so I got them all!"
"Oh I really love macaroons they're all so amazing."
"I know right they're absolutely exquisite!"
"Mhmm the cream and the cookie balanced with tea is amazing!"
"I know! Ones with chocolate and fresh berries are the best!"
"Yeah they're so-"
Le Fou cut herself off before sheepishly fiddling with the hem of her new skirt. The two of you looked at each other before bursting into a fit of giggles.
Smiling at Le Fou's newly gained comfort and confidence the two of you sat enjoying the delightful pastries and slightly bitter but soothing tea.
You offered her to stay over as you lived in the apartment above which she agreed to. And the two of you talked into the night, her unloading the toxic friendship she had with Gabriel and you of your incredibly infatuated cousins. The two of you discussed who would be the subject to Ben's interest since you told her about the encounter the two of you had. She had briefly suggested you but you quickly dismissed the thought with heated cheeks justifying that it was no way you as he just confessed his love for someone else. She just looked at you and smiled gently and knowingly.
You awoke to the rooster cawing in your backyard and you were filled with a serene feeling. Getting up you collected fresh eggs from your hens and prepared breakfast for the two of you. Le Fou woke up to the sound of you whisking eggs and helped make breakfast with you. In the midst of the two of you eating and chatting you heard a knocking sound on your door. Getting up to open it you wondered who on earth would be at your door in the morning. Assuming it was probably Claud fetching eggs for him and his brothers. You weren't at all expecting Gabriel to be at your door with angry crossed arms and a glare.
You looked at her confused and was about to greet her when she just started screaming.
"Stay AWAY FROM BEN! HE'S MINE! YOU'RE NOTHING OKAY? STOP STEALING MY FUTURE HUSBAND!!!"
A sudden rage filled you at the rude girl who suddenly came to your door early in the morning just to scream at your face incredibly out of context words and accusations.
"Excuse me I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast with the company of my dear friend Le Fou and you're barging in and screaming shenanigans at me just tell me what you want and you may leave." Your voice was calm but tight as you tried to hold back your anger.
"Excuse me! How dare you talk to me like that!"
"I dare because I am not afraid of you don't push it."
Normally you were quite sweet but this girl was getting on your every nerve.
"Excuse me-"
"You're excused." Before shutting the door in her face. You could hear her knocking on the door in anger before finally giving up and you could hear her loud scream of frustration before stomping away.
"Woah I can't believe you just did that! That's so brave of you."
"I know I can't believe I just did that, normally I wouldn't woah"
The two of you laughed again before enjoying the meal the two of you had prepared. The two of you worked at the shop and you had hired her to work for you and the two of you were discussing a new dress design for somebody's wedding. You were out of white ivory fabric and lace for the dress so the two of you headed out to the market place for them as well as some food for dinner. She had moved in as well as she used to basically live as a servant in Gabrielle's house. The two of you took a break at the fountain enjoying some eclairs and hot chocolate with each other admiring the setting sun and the soft wind that blew past.
You spotted your cousins and waved at them. You noticed Claud looking at Le Fou with a new look in his eyes. You smiled cheekily knowing you were going to set them up later. She did look really beautiful though. Typically before she would dress in plain fabrics and a hat covering her face. You noticed the faces of your cousins suddenly change into worry and you looked at them oddly. They were gesturing to you and you couldn't really understand. Suddenly you felt arms pull you close and you heard a splash of water fall but none on you. You looked at the familiar brown hair that was now dripping wet with cold water.
"Belle?!?!"
He let go of you and you saw a shocked Gabrielle holding an empty bucket in her hands covering her mouth in shock.
Quickly recomposing herself she immediately went over to Ben hugging him.
"Oh Bennypoo I'm so sorry that was meant for (Y/N)! You'll forgive me right! I'm sorry sweetie."
You looked up to see his reaction and his gaze hardened. Pushing away the girl he pulled you in close.
"That makes it 10x worse how dare you pour ice cold water on the one I love she could get sick!"
"B-but I what." Gabrielle was a spluttering mess of words as she tried to defend herself.
"What! But she is nothing compared to me! I'm the most beautiful woman in this entire town and you choose her! I mean she's not even half of what I am she's just an ordinary woman!"
Before Ben could say anything Le Fou stepped in front of you.
"No! (Y/N) is the sweetest and most beautiful girl out there you're just a pretty face!"
"Le Fou! How dare you!"
"I dare! From now on I will never be by your side again." You smiled brightly at her words and cheered for her she looked back at you smiling with pride.
"What how could you! Ben tell them that I'm not just a pretty face! I'm better than everyone and you're just going through a phase! You love me. Everybody loves me!" You could only sigh and shake your head.
"(Y/N) a thousand times prettier than you." He pulled you closer and asked for permission with his eyes. You gave him a small smile and a nod and he pulled you close and kisses you. You could hear the whole town cheering as the two of you shared a soft and sweet kiss. Gabriel walked away in a huff, her pride and ego had took a huge hit. Your cousins ran to you all 3 of them pulling you away from Ben protectively. You laughed at their antics glad to know they were free from Gabriel's spell. You noticed the blush on both Claud's and Le Fou's face and squealed internally in happiness.
You shook them off by hitting their heads and pulled Ben into another kiss.
I wasn't supposed to update this week but I decided that I had to. And now I have a butt load of homework. But please comment on this and any other work and request! Thanks you guys.
