Roshaun's POV
"...and I think they're still inside."
My eyes dart over to all the boys. We all had decided to go over to Mattia's house to hangout after the fireworks.
"I'm on my way, DO NOT HANG UP!"
"Okay. Please hurry."
I quickly stand up and put my shoes on, putting my phone on speaker and placing it on the nightstand.
"Bro, what's wrong?" Alvaro asks. I ignore his question and grab my keys. Just as I'm about to leave, Mattia grabs my arm.
"What's wrong?" He says.
"Ro, h-he's not hiding anymore."
"LET ME GO!" I scream, yanking my arm away from Mattia.
"Y/n, get out of the house!"
"I can't Ro! He has a gun!"
I see the boys' stand up and follow me out.
"Roshaun! What's going on!?" Kai yells. They all gather around my car.
"Get away from me! Please! I'll leave! I-I have a daughter! Please!"
Their eyes widen.
"I-Is that y/n?" Robert asks. I nod my head as I start the car. All the boys pile into my car and I speed to y/n's house.
"Y/n? Y/n!"
"Ro, he's gonna hurt me."
"No. No! I'm almost there! Just hold on!"
Boom
"Y/n?!"
Call disconnected
"Oh my god!" Alvaro yells. We pull up to y/n's house and run in.
Mattia's POV
I hear Roshaun's phone start ringing and he answers it. We were all just chilling and enjoying each other's company, since it had been a month or so since we last spoke.
"I'm on my way, DO NOT HANG UP!" I hear him yell. We all look up at him, concerned.
"Bro, what's wrong." Alvaro asks. Roshaun ignores him and tries to walk out, but I grab his arm.
"What's wrong?" I ask. I hear someone say something on his phone, but I was to focused on Roshaun to care.
"LET ME GO!" He screams. He yanks his arm out of my grip and runs upstairs, followed by the rest of us. We hear him yell something about someone getting out of a house, but we can't tell who.
"Roshaun! What's going on?!" Kai yells. We all gather around Roshaun's car and we hear y/n yell.
"I-Is that y/n?" Robert asks. Roshaun nods and I yank open his door, quickly getting into the passenger seat. All the boys get in, Kai sitting on Ale's lap. Roshaun immediately starts speeding from my house, to y/n's.
"Ro, he's gonna hurt me."
"No. No! I'm almost there. Just hold on!" Roshaun yells. We hear a gunshot and then the call disconnects.
"Oh my god!" Alvaro yells. We pull up to y/n's house and rush in. We look all over for her until we finally go into Brynnlee's room and see her laying on the ground bleeding. I quickly pick her up and run upstairs. I run out the door and to the hospital, which was three blocks away.
"Someone please help her!" I scream. A doctor runs over and takes her from me, sprinting to the emergency room.
"What's your name?" The nurse asks me as she hands me a water bottle.
"Mattia. Mattia Polibio." I reply.
"And the girl?"
"Y/n l/n." The nurse nods and I see Anthony run in with Brynnlee.
"Daddy? Is momma okay?" She asks. I start crying and she hugs me.
"What happened?" Ant asks.
"I don't know. Roshaun got a call from her and then we heard her begging for her life. We had just seen her. We invited her to come over, but she said she needed to go home and have a little girl's night with Brynn. God if we would have just gone over to the house with her, this would've never happened!" I say. Ant rubs my back and sighs.
"I'm sure she'll be fine, Mattia. She's a fighter. She won't let some stupid gun shot kill her. Especially since she still has a daughter that needs her and since she's still in love with you." He says.
"W-what?" I say. He looks at me confused before realising what he said.
"I-I mean! Ugh who am I kidding. She loves you Mattia. She told me a week ago after I found her staring at that drawing Brynnlee made of all you, crying." He says.
"What about Mar?" I ask. He scoffs.
"She was trying to get her mind off of you. She is really good pretending." He says. I laugh and sigh.
"Mar wanted us to break up. He forced Samy to send me that text so he could move here and have a chance. And I let him win. Fuck! I let him win."
"Nah bro. He isn't gonna win. Y/n can pretend to like him all she wants, but when he's gone you're all she thinks about." He says. I look up and nod and all the boys rush in.
"The cops found the guy a block away, beat to shit and with a bullet in his right leg. Our girl didn't let him leave without a scar." Ale says. We all laugh and the doctor walks in.
"Y/n l/n?" He asks.
"Yes sir, how is she?" Ant asks. The doctor gives a soft smile.
"She made it. She shouldn't have, but she did. You got yourself a stubborn one there." He says. We all laugh.
"Leave it to y/n to look death in the eyes and say fuck off." Robert says. We all laugh and Roshaun looks at the doctor.
"Can I see her?" He asks, quietly. The doctor nods and leads Roshaun to the room.
"He hasn't spoken since the call disconnected." Alvaro says. We all watch him walk away and Brynnlee runs over to him.
"Rohaun!" She yells. Ant stands up to go get her, but Roshaun turns around and picks her up, carrying her to y/n's room.
Roshaun's POV
"Here you are." The doctor says. I nod and walk in.
"You're a bitch." I say, staring at y/n who is still asleep.
"You can't just scare me like that bro. I thought I was going to have to explain to Brynnlee that her mommy died because some greedy bastard shot her." I say, tears welling up in my eyes. Brynnlee holds my face and wipes my tears.
"Please don't cry, Rohaun. Momma doesn't like when you cry." She says. I chuckle.
"Roshaun is a bad bitch and bad bitches don't cry." I hear someone say. I look over and see y/n awake, staring at us.
"Bitch! You tried to fuckin die on me! This bad bitch finna cry if I want the fuck?" I yell, laughing. She laughs too, but holds her stomach.
"Fuck." She groans.
"See this is why we run away from danger. You looked for that bitch i know you did!" I say. She laughs and nods.
"Yeah, I did." She replies.
"Get some sleep. I'll take Brynn to my place and we'll come back in the morning. Ight?" I say.
"Alright." She replied. I give her a quick hug and walk out.
"Is she awake?" Mattia asks. I shake my head.
"No, let's come back in the morning and see her." I say. They all nod and we leave.
