Chapter 59

Khushi stood up. All of her face turned red. Mahendra looked at her and was concerned about her sudden behavior. Maybe his plan was just too much and he have put Khushi under too much pressure. He didn't want her hurt and didn't want to create any stress to his new daughter. Still he needed to make clear how serious the situation was.

>>Khushi relax. Think about the baby.<<

>>But if you sold the company, then many workers could lose their jobs.<<

>>I am honest with you. Yes. They can lose their jobs because I can't control the new owner and what he want to do with his new company. Even if I make it a part of the contract to protect them, there are still possibilities for him to elude the regulations. There are always ways to change the company regulations, once you are the owner.<<

Khushi seemed clearly nervous hearing Mahendras words.

>>Khushi, it doesn't matter. You said you can't take care of the company and I can't do the job too. I don't trust outsiders when it comes to family's name and I can't ask anyone else from the family to replace Arnav.<<

Khushi's eyes filled with tears and Mahendra felt the sudden need to hug his daughter and take her pain away. That's why he choose his next word carefully. Khushi's wellbeing was important, but it was also important to make her take all Arnav's gifts. It was his last wish and Mahendra wanted to honor every single one, by making them true.

>>It is as it is. We can't change the circumstances which we are in right now and we can't change what comes out when we sell the company. Don't worry I'll manage everything. I am going to contact a few people, so just let me find their data.<<

Mahendra tipped something and looked at the computer screen. He took the phone in his hand and started dialing, when Khushi pulled the phone away from his hand. It felt down on the floor and broke into few pieces. Then she walked few steps back, like she burned her hand on the phone. She seemed very upset and Mahendra uncle didn't like her facial expression.

>>Fine. I'll do it. I want to be the new CEO.<<

Listening to Khushi's words, Mahendra became happy and didn't even try to hide his happiness. He stood up and called her to him. She walked around the table and he signaled her to take a seat on the big chair.

>>I am very glad that you decided to take care of SR. I am sure my daughter is the best person who can take care of family business.<<

Khushi replied whispering.

>>No, Arnav is the best.<<

Mahendra turned her chair around to face her. His expressions were serious.

>>Yes, Arnav was very good leading the family business to the place it is now, but it doesn't mean Khushi can't be as good as he, too. I am very aware that you are pregnant and need to take care of my grandchild after birth, but I still want you to keep an eye on the family business. We could hire people, but I want a family member to make all main decisions and be involved into all important transactions. You feel different than some person who is involved into the business for money and you act more responsible than any outsider would do, because you are part of the company through your name.<<

I won't lie Khushi. Being part of the company without Arnav's experience will be though. It won't be easy to replace him, especially after all these successful changes that he managed to include into SR. I am a little concerned about your health, but at the same time, I am also positive with good employees to support you and also my help, we will manage all hurdles. Don't worry we'll manage everything together till it's time and you are ready to take over and work on your own.<<

He turned her chair back to the table and gave her a pencil.

>>And now I need you to sign all these papers, Mrs. Singh Raizada the new CEO of SR.<<

One by one the papers were signed by her. Khushi couldn't explain how she felt after every single signature but with every sign it became easier to accept her fate.

The hardest one to sign was the paper where Arnav's name would be replaced with hers. It felt like she separated him from his family and it happened with her own will and signature. She felt bad and tears flooded her eyes. After she put the pencil down on the table, Khushi covered her face with her palms and sobbed hard.

It was Mahendra who turned again her chair around and asked her to look at him. She saw tears in his eyes too.

>>Today is the day, I have lost one child, but I got you and I will be thankful to Arnav for all my life for bringing you into my life.

My daughter. My life. I promise, you will never regret your decision.<<

***

It took Arnav few hours, alone inside his car to calm down as much as possible after the new things that he have find out about Khushi's past. The bitter truth was, that Khushi punched him on the place where it hurted the most and this place was his heart. If he thought losing her was the worst moment in his life, he knew now, he was wrong. So fucking wrong in all aspects.

Indeed this was the most horrible moment till now and the proud person Arnav feared what was next to come.

He gripped the steering wheel and leaned back against his seat. His head rested on the cold leather and he ignored everything around. His eyes where closed and his whole life flashed before his eyes after he met Khushi. He thought about things he would have done differently and how their life would be, if he had lead their life in the other, much better direction.

Then the picture of beaten, nearly naked Khushi flashed through his mind and he opened his eyes to remove this horrible pictures. He looked out of the car and saw all this busy people walking on the streets. He imagined how they hit Khushi, ripping her clothes in the violent process of her body. Hurting her, without any mercy. He could hear her pleas and cries. He could feel her pain.

If he thought he was in a dark place, he couldn't be more wrong because this here. This situation in the car, thinking of Khushi, pulled him in the deepest hole someone could ever be in. There was darkness around Arnav and it was endless, big and deep. Not a little light to pull him out was there.

Again there were some people outside the car, who passed his car, not being aware of the horrible process of pain that he was going through. They smiled and chatted like nothing happened. Seeing how happy they were, Arnav felt this deep hate for every single one of them and totally gave into the feeling. Not once did he think of fighting against this hate. It was quite opposite. He fed this hate. He consumed it, till it became a part of his every cell.

And when this hate became so deep and big, he finally knew what he needed to do to give the woman he loved the justice she deserved.

There was no forgiveness. No future or hope for all of them who hurted her.

Including himself.

He leaned his head again back and directed his eyes up, refusing to look at people he blamed and hated so much. He would never forgive and never forget. Not himself and his sins, or anyone else who was part of Khushi's destruction. The thing was that there was so less he knew. There was still so much to be discovered. So much that he needed to bring to surface.

Arnav's heart told him that the truth he just did find out, was not everything. There was still so so much that need to come out.

The only thing he knew at this moment was.

Somebody has to pay.

Somebody is going to suffer.

Someone would have to die.

He forced his head down and his eyes to open. He wanted to look at the first people who were going to get their punishment.

His lips parted and he knew his voice wanted to come out. He wanted to scream and yell. He wanted to show his hate to them directly and scream at himself too, but he only whispered.

>>I want their blood.<<

***

Khushi spent a very interesting morning with Uncle Mahendra in SR. After she met all workers, he drove her home because he didn't want to urge too much.

As she entered the house, she found Manorama with red eyes packing something in a suitcase in her room. Khushi asked her what she did, but Manorma only explained that she packed some things to make place for Khushi's own clothes. When Khushi asked why she cried Manorama kissed her cheek and murmured that everything was ok and she wanted to prepare some Jalebi for Khushi after taking the suitcase away to cellar.

Khushi didn't think much about it and went into the bathroom. Suddenly there was the need to refresh her skin. She walked into the shower and turned on the cold water. In no second her whole heated skin was covered with cold water and washed away the sweat of the first hard day at SR. It was amazing to feel it on her skin and reminded her on something else. Arnav used to travel with his fingertips over her body and create goosebumps on it.

He used to touch her and wash her body creating a heat even though the water was sometimes cold. Now that heat was not there but the waterdrops created feelings close to his touch.

Realizing what she did and how she thought of Arnav, Khushi turned off the water frustrated and left the shower. She dressed herself and walked downstairs. For the rest of the day, she was occupied with Manorama and Lavanya. She forbid herself any thought on Arnav and was actually pretty successfully by forgetting him.

***

Arnav dialed Akash's number and gave him instructions for the future months. He also gave him orders what to do next.

After this, he drove to the next place where he wanted to take the first step towards his revenge. It would not be that easy to do it, because he didn't have money since he gave everything up and wasn't ready to sell the factory in Delhi.

Well no matter how, his name should be enough and he was going to use it as good as possible to reach his aim. Of course only that far to get the revenge, not to harm the good name of the family.

He walked inside the building and straightened his Jacket. This meeting was very important for his aim and he knew he would come out as a winner.

The man he visited was very rich and was always ready for a good business, even if it meant to ignore the government and the law from time to time. The man who was in Arnav's age believed in only one God and that was the paper in his pocket. The paper called money that was needed to buy and sell.

Well, Arnav would offer him today one business which would give him his God. In fact a lot of them.

*

One hour later Arnav came out smiling.

Someone has to pay and he knew exactly who and how much it will be.

It's time for revenge.
