a royal decree had been made.
all the officials names that came through the investigation were abducted from there residence and the left minister's house arrest was made stricter. the officials were abducted with not much of a scene to keep the decree as discreet as possible. this all had been done in a day and no one had seemed to have noticed it. but the left minister had been notified of the steps that the emperor had taken towards the rebellion they had planned. though he was supposedly safe for now, he knew that he was next. it was time for their plan to take the next step.
it had been a few days after their recent intimate session, jing yi then only felt more confident and loved in what he had with feng leng. he was happier than ever before. for some reason that jing yi didnt know feng leng wasnt home as much as he was before, spending all his time confined in the residence jing yi couldnt help but miss feng leng's presence more and more. though he was friendly with the maids and everyone treated him well , it seemed that all tried to remain a distance form him. it wasnt known to jing yi but feng leng's possessiveness of him had formed an unwritten rule in the household to not trouble jing yi in any sort of manner if one valued his life.
feng leng had assigned some classes from a private tutor for jing yi to learn to read and write more profoundly and also to learn about everything jing yi had missed out in his life. jing yi found the classes very fun but all alone mostly all day jing yi couldnt help but at times think of his past. this present happiness made him think of all the sorrow and pain he endured all his life. but he also remembered the precious moments then. he missed his mother and the river they used to go at. he missed his old house though not as grand as feng leng's residence, the old house was his own and what he had worked so much on. but most he missed Bai and Chun , also the old man.
at times, he wondered how the old man was living. he grew concerned everytime there was a heavy rainstorm, thinking if the old man was taking care of himself. it seemed jing yi was homesick.
at night , feng leng came later than usual. and as always jing yi waited in the garden looking forward to meeting feng leng. it had been become a routine. and as always feng leng couldnt help smile at how jing yi was always there waiting for him. coming back to his residence before was just to get rest but now it was his source of happiness. after a long time he had felt that he belonged to someone and that some one belonged solely to him.
as soon as jing yi saw feng leng, jign yi ran and jumped to hug feng leng by the neck with his legs wrapped around feng leng's waist. embracing jing yi, feng leng walked into their room. jing yi jumped off after briefly casting a kiss on feng leng even while blushing all the way to the ears. feng leng again deepened the kiss relieving his wish to get home all day long but didnt advance more. as usual jign yi helped feng leng undress and freshen up while talking about everything that he had learned the whole day, also asking to know how feng leng's day had been.
after laying on the bed, jing yi again advanced with a kiss to feng leng, wanting the other's breath near him, to feel him and release the overflowing love. and kissing was the only way jing yi knew. feng leng felt jing yi adorable and his desire uncontrollable but still didnt advance more than a simple intimate session all the while pleasuring jing yi.
at the end jing yi was left asleep ,tired and feng leng pent up. feng leng got up to relieve his hardness and came back to hold jing yi in his arms , kissing jign yi's forehead. jing yi nuzzling up more to him unconciously .
later that night, jing yi saw himself back at his home. he saw his mother cooking and his little self helping his mother. he felt his mother's hand on his cheeks and heard his mother's voice finding it to be as blissful as ever. after hearing Bai and Chun calling for him, jing yi ran outside. seeing them jing yi felt relieved to know they were healthy but found it confusing about why he felt that way, he had seen them just the day before.
but before he could touch them he was pushed into the wall, before he could raise to see what happened he felt hits after hits on his body . soon the terrifying voice of his father cursing him every which way he could. jing yi fell back to feel what his life had been with his father. the hits, the pain , the terror. but among the hits he felt a hand creep up his legs. he felt a disgusting breadth on his face and his body immobilized. he then saw the face of the man that had tried to abuse him in the forest. he pulled and twisted his body to get free from the grip of the man. but the more he tried, the more he felt restricted. then the body shuddering touch reached further and further his thighs. and he could only scream then .
"FENG LENG!!!!!!!!"
feng leng embraced jing yi closely and kissed him repeatedly his head constantly affirming that he was right there and there was no need to be afraid .
when finally realizing he was actually dreaming, jing yi sighed and felt relieved. he quickly grabbed onto feng leng, constantly assuring himself that it was all a dream. but still couldnt stop the tears that threathen to fall.
that night after reliving his nightmare, jing yi didnt avoid feng leng's questions about his past anymore.before whenever feng leng tried to talk about his past, jing yi quickly brushed only talking about how the old man was his real father and he had lived in the village the whole life, never even mentioning why feng leng had seen him that day on the mountain . he naver talked about his past.
that night jingyi couldnt stop. he talked everything with feng leng . his mother's death, his life thereafter, his father's harassment, the night he was sold , his struggle, the old man and everything incident that then led him to feng leng.
after talking about everything, feng leng did feel boiling anger and struggle to torture those men that caused pain to jing yi but also his increased love and devotion towards jing yi for finally letting him know about all about his past,not leaving any aspect of his life. he saw how jing yi was far more stronger than he looked, how jing yi was so loving and caring even after all that happened to him.
feeling the new found intimacy between them, feng leng also let out his inner conflicts and past pain to jing yi.
feng leng had been the only child of the general leng's second concubine. he had been showing signs of superior abilities more than his other sibings from a young age. hence, the others wives of the general had always been wary of feng leng and his mother. feng leng was very young back then and didnt understand many things , but he knew of never letting anyone devalue his mother. so it had been so that, whenever he heard or see someone harming his mother in any way , he wouldnt be able to control himself and do whatever he could to avenge his mother.
but his mother was a pure soul, though being one of the general's many wives , she never abhorred anyone or care for any mean comments on her way. though she was treated as more of a maid for having come from a poor family .all that she saw was her son.
so, one night when the general's house had been mysteriously lit in fire. thinking her mother was still in, then 6 year old feng leng had ran inside the burning living quarters of his mother, only to be trapped inside. but though trapped he had found her mother, just as she had turned to run to her son, what feng leng saw was his mother be stabbed from the back by a masked figure. his mother fell from the attack and the masked figure ran away in a flash having not seen the little fend leng.
feng leng ran to his mother, he cried and cried as he tried to stop the bleeding from the huge stab in her back. just as his mother gathered the strength to stand and seek to send her boy to safety, a wooden plank from the ceiling fell , obstructing the entrance. and with all the smoke accumulating inside the house and heat exhaustion ,little feng leng fainted. with no way out, feng leng's mother with whatever strength only thought of saving her son. so she pushed her body to the burning window. trying to find a way out for her son. when the window finally opened ,the house was on the verge of collapse. feng leng's mother threw her son out the window and feng leng woke up from the hitting on the hard ground.
what he saw right as he opened his eyes was the whole house fall on his mother who was already blood stained from her blood, looking as if her soul had been sucked out ,from all the exhaustion. but still a sweet relief was her face to see her son safe.
and that was the end of how feng leng too had lost the light of his life. years had went by, but the dreadful night was still to vivid to feng leng and in his heart , revenge was to be taken. though the culprit was never found, he was gonna take down that man at all cost.
feng leng and jing yi, both had let them selves bare that night. each giving out their whole selves for the other to then embrace it. that night they talked the whole night about everything they could talk about. the night seemed too short when the sky lit up.
