It was a couple days after the Jimmy Fallon appearance and people were constantly calling and requesting Beca. She of course still declined and respond with a simple "I just want to finish Halsey's album." Something everyone was looking forwards to. In those two days however, there was a tour that was being sponsored by Beats. Beats had contacted Seulgi and her team to see if there was interest, they agreed and Seulgi was added to the list. That leads us to Seulgi current situation, on the phone with Joy.
"Yes Joy. Yes, I know. I am very aware. Of course I'll bring Yeri and Jeong. Joy I swear I read it." Joy had the habit of reminding Seulgi of things 5-6 times a day even if Seulgi was aware.
"I'm serious! This is a huge deal, I'm warning you. Read them thoroughly and carefully. And show up to the meeting." Joy said sternly.
"Dam Joy, when the hell did you become my manager? Last I checked it was Yeri. Did you two switch roles? Is this a relationship test?" Seulgi asked smirking.
"Kang." Joy growled "Watch it. Yeri told me to remind your ass as well. Be there and I'll see you later." With that Joy hung up. Seulgi leaned back on her chair and looked out her window. Her office had a view of the whole city that she would look out when she would drift into her mind.
"Hey Seul." Jeongyeon said as she entered her office.
"Your going to that meeting with me right? I don't think I could deal." Seulgi asked
"Of course Seulgi. I mean I am your publicist. Plus, free food and drinks, I'm so there." Jeongyeon laughed and fist bumped her.
"Any way I just wanted to congratulate you on the Fallon interview. I'm glad you opened up like that. You going soft now?" Jeongyeon smirked.
"Shush! Not so loud. But it's not a huge deal really. I don't want to sulk in sadness anymore dude. It's exhausting. I got to make the most of whatever all this is." Seulgi said making a circular motion with her index finger.
Jeongyeon was looking at Seulgi with nothing but proudness. She was so proud of her small friend, she has really matured and become a terrific person. Deciding to give her friend a break she went over and pulled her out of her seat.
"Whoa dude what are you doing." Seulgi asked.
"Giving you a day off. Your going to go home and relax. I'll take of everything here." Jeongyeon said as she was pushing Seulgi out of the door.
"Umm ok sure." Seulgi said a bit confused and happy.
"I'll call if any emergencies come up." Jeongyeon said with a wave.
Seulgi walked up to her challenger and started to head to her house. Upon arriving she kicked off her shoes at the door and set her bags down on the marble kitchen island. She walked into her room and changed into something more comfortable. A pair of black Nike sweat shorts and a cropped tank top. She had just got to the game room wanting to some Mortal Kombat when she heard her front door. She didn't even have to check to know exactly who that was.
"SEULGI!" Wendy screamed walking into the house.
Laughing and shaking her head "Game room shorty!" She yelled back. One thing about Seulgi's spacious house is that the echo was insane.
Upon hearing this, Wendy hurried up the steps and flung herself at her tiny friend "Well hello to you to." Seulgi chuckled returning the embrace.
"Hi, I'm just so excited that we get to spend the day together!" Wendy squealed.
"How did you know I was home?" Seulgi asked curiously.
" Jeongyeon told me she gave you a day off and I decided on an impromptu best friends date. Lasting a whole day." Wendy smiled breaking the embrace.
"Sure Wan that sounds perfect." Seulgi smiled.
"Perfect because I brought pizza and kimchi." Wendy said while grabbing the boxes and bags.
"You Son Wendy are heaven sent." Seulgi said while snatching the extra cheese pizza.
"So I've been told Kang." Wendy said with a wink "Now time to embarrass you." She said while grabbing a controller.
Raising an eyebrow "Oh is that so? Well then Son let's see what you got."
Starting up the game Seulgi picked her go to character being Jason Voorhees while Wendy picked her go to being Predator. The two girls were looked into there game, the pizza and kimchi long gone by this point. They had decided on best of seven series, the first to 4 wins being the victor. The trash talk was intense as well as the button mashing.
"Wow Son your game is so weak, makes me wonder how you get all this action you say you do." Seulgi said with a smirk.
"Ohhhh that's how it's going to be? Bet." Wendy then proceeded to hit Seulgi with the fatality. "Ouch your character is dead, just like your love life." Wendy laughed.
Seulgi glared at her "That's it! No more going easy on you." Seulgi said with nothing but determination.
It was now 3-3 Beca going into game seven, upon the round starting Seulgi wasted no time in assaulting Wendy's character. Seulgi was able to fight back a bit but in the end Seulgi destroyed her. Jumping up "Ha! Another W for me and a L for you my friend." Seulgi said doing a mini victory dance. Something Wendy recorded and posted to her Instagram.
"Alright Kang, double or nothing." Wendy proposed.
"Ok name the game Son." Seulgi said taking a sip of her Sprite.
Looking around the game room "Alright the old classic, pool."
"Alright let's do it." Seulgi nodded and headed towards the table.
"Let's make even more interesting what do you say?" Wendy asked. After receiving a nod "Ok strip pool Seulgi."
"How would that work exactly?" Seulgi questioned
"Simple every time one of makes a shot the other removes something." Wendy smirked.
"Your on. What's the double or nothing wager?" Asked Seulgi.
"Loser gets a tattoo of the winners choice." Was the answer.
"Deal." Seulgi extended her arm and the two shook on it.
The game was close with each girl only have 2 balls left to sink. And each were down to there bra and a pair of shorts. It was now Seulgi's turn, after lining everything up she shot and sunk her ball into the corner pocket.
"Alright Son down go the shorts."
"Wow Kang excited to see me strip much?" Wendy smirked
"Don't flatter yourself." Seulgi laughed.
Seulgi missed her next shot giving Wendy a change to even things up. After lining her shot up and sinking it, Seulgi proceeded to take her shorts off.
Whistling "Dayum Seul." Rolling her eyes Seulgi looked at her "Did you just cat call me?" Shrugging her shoulders "Maybe I did. Maybe I didn't."
Setting up for the winning shot all she had to do was sing the 8 ball. "8 corner pocket." She announced. Hitting the cue ball she was able to sink the 8 ball in the corner pocket making her the winner.
"YESSS! Give me that dam W! Take this L Kang!" Wendy shouted doing a victory dance. Seulgi was just looking on and couldn't help but smile at her best friend.
"Alright Wan good game." Seulgi said picking up her clothing.
"Ah what are you doing?" Wendy asked.
"Umm getting dressed." Seulgi asked sounding like she was asking a question.
"Nope, not yet." Wendy smirked.
"What? Come on Wannie." Seulgi whined.
"Nope your staying in your bra and underwear for this." Wendy laughed.
"For what?" Seulgi asked.
Wendy grabbed her phone and smiled "I'm going to record you and you will admit that I'm the superior friend when it comes to games."
"But I'm better then you at video games. We just proved that!" Seulgi exclaimed.
"Fine you can say except video games."
Sighing Seulgi gave a nod. Wendy hit record "Hey guys, you're probably wondering why I'm not really wearing clothing. Well it's because Wendy challenged me to strip pool and let's just say she won, by one ball! Anyways just wanted to say that Wendy Son is better then Seulgi Kang at games. Not including video games, she can't touch me in those. Well that's that bye you guys." Seulgi said with a wave.
Wendy then turned the camera herself "You hear that guys!" She stood in front of the mirror "She gave it her all but at the end of the day Wendy Son is superior." At this Seulgi stood behind her putting her shirt on and said "Don't let this boost your ego Wannie." Laughing Wendy said "Will do sweetie. Well bye guys. Oh and #Wenseulforthewin!"
Shaking her head laughing "People are really going to think we're dating if we keep this stuff up." Seulgi said.
"Is that a bad thing?" Wendy asked grabbing her clothes.
Shaking her head "Nope but you know how some people are." Seulgi answered.
"Fuck those people Seul, we got to do what makes us happy. Not do what makes others happy." Wendy said as she finished getting dressed.
"Your right Wan, it's just tough sometimes you know."
"I get where you're coming from. Just remember it's your life and not there's." Wendy said as she brought Seulgi in for a side hug.
Returning the hug "Thanks for today Wannie. I needed to relax before this festival and tour."
"Of course Seul. You can always count on me." Wendy smiled.
