( Monday )
" (Y/NNNNNNNN)! " You heard Lloyd scream from upstairs . You dropped what you were doing and ran upstairs to see what was wrong . They boys just got back from a mission apparently, what if he's hurt ?
" Lloyd what is it ? what's wrong ? "
" GIVE IT BACK ! " Lloyd screamed and tried to pull away a comic from a little boy in his room .
" NO ! I WANNA COLOR ! " He pouted and pulled harder ripping the comic . Looking at the cover in the boys hand you realized it was Lloyd's limited addition copy with autographs from the author and illustrator ..... this isn't going to go well .
How did this kid even get it ? Not even you knew where Lloyd kept it but you remembered that he had it wrapped in plastic .
Lloyd took a deep breath trying not to lose it . " It's just paper , it's just paper "
The little boy ran behind you and hugged onto your leg with a scared look on his face . who is this boy ?
" Uh Lloyd , I know this isn't the best time but .... Who's this ? " you looked down at the boy and gently patted his head . He had to at least have been four .
" We aren't sure , we went on a mission to track down a cat burglar and found him wondering around on the streets. Nya contacted the police and they said that a police station isn't a place for a child and that he'd be safe if he stayed with us " Lloyd talked as he picked up his torn comic not ever taking his eyes off of it .
" I see... " you sighed . Then bent down to the boys level to talk to him .
" Hi I'm (y/n) , I know I'm a stranger but I'm the ninjas friend , you can trust me , can you please tell me your name ? "
The boy looked up at you and blinked a few times "..... I-I'm Noah " he avoided eye contact.
" Wow ! What an awesome name " you smiled so he'd relax . " Noah , I know you don't know where you are but you shouldn't touch other people's things without their permission, do you understand ? "
Noah nodded then held his arms up " Uppy-"
" Alright " You picked him up and held him on your waist and looked back at Lloyd " Do you need me to hold you too ? "
" I'll be fine , I'm just not very good with kids believe it or not ...." he looked embarrassed." I skipped a few years , as your aware of , so I'm still kinda maturing, it's hard to try and grow up myself and be able to take care of a kid ...."
" Then let's play house ! " you smiled .
" Play house ? I've never played that " Lloyd raised his eyebrow.
Oh boy -
" Ok , I'm the mommy , and your the daddy , and Noah is our little baby " you tickled Noah gently and he giggled .
" So ... What do daddy's do ? "
" Well first we should make a house "
" Huh ? "
" Noah help me make a pillow fort ! " you carefully threw Noah onto Lloyds bed full of pillows .
Together all three of you made the biggest pillow fort ever .
" This is a mansion , now Noah , what do daddy's do ? "
" ..... My daddy and mommy work " Noah Hugged onto a pillow near by .
" lloyd go pretend to work then come back and Noah and I will have dinner ready " you smiled and pushed Lloyd out of his room .
" Wait what ?! " Lloyd was beyond confused.
After about four minutes, Noah walked out and grabbed Lloyd's hand and walked him back in . " Mommy and I made dinner ! "
" Oh ? " Lloyd crawled into the fort after Noah and found some of his stuffed animals in a pile .
" I get to eat the Teddy Bear ! " Noah smiled and nommed on it .
Lloyd looked like he finally got the hint and grabbed a duck stuffed animal and copied Noah . Aw how cute , in a clumsy way . I wonder if Lloyd would be like this if he were to become a dad . Your thoughts were interrupted by a duck stuffed animal hitting your face .
" Get mommy ! Attack ! " Lloyd smirked and threw more pillows and stuffed animals at you .
" Yea ! Mommy will never defeat us ! Muhaha ! " OH MY GOD HE DID AN EVIL LAUGH LIKE LLOYD DID WHEN HE WAS A KID ! HOW CUTE !
Noah then jumped on you and started tickling you . Lloyd soon joined in and tickled you both .
" am I interrupting something ? " Kai stood in the doorway .
Lloyd sat up with messy hair " No why ? " .
" I need to borrow your girlfriend , she said she'd help me pick out a gift for Jays birthday " He rolled his eyes .
" Oh right ! I Totally forgot ! Coming ! Lloyd you can handle Noah all by your self , I know you can " you smiled and ran off with Kai .
".... So mommy is going to work now ? " Noah looked at Lloyd .
" Uh ... sure "
( Time skip , 8 Pm )
" Cole ? Have you seen Lloyd and Noah ? " You asked curiously . You went straight to lloyds room to look for them when you got home but they were gone . And lloyds room was even picked up neatly .
" I think I saw them sneak into your room " Cole stated as he stretched himself out on the couch .
You walked into your room and saw Lloyd and Noah asleep on the bed . Lloyd was sprawled out on the bed and had Noah on top of him . Noah was slightly curled up in a ball and Lloyd had his arm around him .
You looked at the floor and saw crayons and markers everywhere . Along with a bunch of paper with doodles from both of them . Glancing at some of them you saw the ninja , animals , super hero's and more . It seems like they had a lot of fun . Walking over to the bed you bent down and kissed lloyds forehead and rubbed Noah's back , then tip toed out of the room so you wouldn't wake them up .
( Wednesday )
Lloyd and Noah were in the kitchen eating dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets . They dipped them in ketchup and pretended it was lava .
" It burns ! Owie ! " Lloyd screeched in an awkward voice .
" Oh no ! A monster is gonna eat me ! " Noah giggled and bit off the Dino nuggets head .
" Boys don't play with your food , That's bad manners " you scolded them slightly.
" boo , mommy is grumpy " Lloyd stuck his tongue out at you .
" Yea ! Daddy's are fun ! Mommys are Boring ! " Noah stood up on his chair .
" Then mommy isn't going to give anyone dessert " you stuck your tongue out at Lloyd.
Lloyd and Noah quickly shoved the rest of their lunch in their mouth .
" I'm done ! Mommy is so pretty and nice ! Ice cream please ? " Noah batted his eyes innocently .
" Lloyd see what you taught him ?! "
" I didn't teach him that " Lloyd also batted his eyes innocently .
" Gag ! You two are totally acting like a married couple ! " Jay Burst into the kitchen .
" It's Blueberry ! " Noah screamed and threw his plate at Jay , which hit his face , he's got good aim . For some reason jay scared him .
" Buddy we found your parents ! You get to go home tonight ! " Jay smiled " Isn't that great ?! "
Noah frowned and hugged onto Lloyd , hiding his face in his chest . " I wanna stay "
" Noah , your parents missed you a lot " Lloyd rubbed his back " I'm sure they will be happy to see you again because they love you ,and you love them too "
" I do love them but I love you and (y/n) too ! " he sniffed as he started to cry .
You and Lloyd both shot each other a worried glance . What do we do ?
" Noah , (y/n) and I will visit you ! And we can send each other letters or pictures in the mail ! Like we're secret agents , wouldn't that be fun ? " Lloyd smiled .
Noah looked up with sparkling eyes " Yes ! I'm a super secret ninja then ?! "
" That's right super secret ninja " Lloyd gently poked Noah's nose .
( Time skip , 8 pm )
As promised , Noah's parents showed up and both hugged and kissed all over Noah . Noah seemed happy too and he excitedly told his parents about the time he spent with you and Lloyd .
You turned to Lloyd and noticed he was forcing a smile . You quietly whispered to him .
" Lloyd what's up ? "
" Nothing ..." he stared at Noah and his parents . Right , Lloyds never been able to have a family like this , but he always said that it doesn't bug him anymore .
" Lloyd don't lie to me " you held his hand and gently squeezed it .
"... I'm going to miss him " he looked at the floor and poured .
" We're going to see him again , you promised him remember ? "
He smiled " Yea but now I'd kinda like a family one day even though the idea of it scares me "
" it scares you ? "
" Yea , it doesn't bug me anymore that my family was kinda torn from the beginning, but I've never really experienced what it's like to have a family . " Lloyd went on ," so the idea of family scares me because I don't know what to do or how id actually react to that kind of situation "
" Maybe one day then , when your ready " you kissed his cheek .
" Dadd- Lloyd ! " Noah was hugging onto Lloyds leg . " I got something for you ! " he held up the comic he tore and it was all taped up . " See ! All better now ! " he smiled innocently.
Lloyd smiled and took it from him " Thank you Noah "
" One more ! " Noah handed Lloyd a stack of papers that were stapled together. " i made you a comic ! "
" Wow I love it ! " Lloyd chuckled a bit . " Can I have you autograph it for me ? " Noah nodded and signed his name .
Noah then grabbed your hand and kissed it , handing you a flower . Lloyd looked like he was going to faint from shock . Noah then waved bye and left with his parents .
"..... Where did Noah learn that ? " You giggled and looked at the flower .
"...... I have no idea ... a four year old has more game than me , How pathetic " Lloyd whimpered like a puppy .
" You did a good job raising him .... Daddy~ "
Lloyd instantly turned pink " No ! " he grabbed you and threw you over his shoulder as he walked inside .
" Is daddy going to punish me ? " you laughed as you joked around with him .
" Yea " he threw you on your bed then walked out of your room " Time out "
