Requested: Momo gets sick with Dahyun taking care of her. (@AraKimchiii18 )
It was rare when Momo would get sick. But this time, she had and there was no thinking her way out of it. She always thought getting sick was a mental game. But it didn't work. She was bed ridden. Her entire body ached, her head was spinning, nose stuffed and running, and to top it off, she had a really bad fever.
"I got you soup." Dahyun whispered, holding the take out bag in her hands. Jihyo had told her to make her soup, but she wanted to make sure it was right and perfect so she went out to get it rather than make it.
"Thank you." Momo muttered, coughing slightly. Dahyun hated seeing her so sick, but she knew it was bound to happen. With how cold it was outside and the outfits they wore for their stages, hardly sleeping, sometimes skipping meals, it got to be too much.
Dahyun helped her eat, spoon feeding her until she felt full, which shocked Dahyun. She had only eaten a little bit and decided she was done. She didn't know what to do honestly.
Dahyun stayed with her all day, making sure she drank enough water and ate enough. She ended up helping Momo with everything that she could and tried her best. After two days of coaxing her to eat and drink, Momo started to feel slightly better.
"I promise I'm feeling better." Momo mumbled, still congested.
"You still need medicine." Dahyun chuckled, holding out the little pills for her.
"But I don't want them." Momo whined before ending up in a coughing fit. "Fine..." She whispered while sitting herself up. She took the medicine without any further protest, earning a smile from the younger.
"Maybe by next week you'll be back to yourself." Dahyun tried to stay positive.
"I hope so." She sniffed. "I hate being sick."
"I know. I don't like when you're sick either." Dahyun pouted. "You're so miserable and I hate seeing you like that." She frowned. Momo gave her a sympathetic smile, trying her best to stay positive as well.
Over the next few days, Momo slowly got more and more back to herself. Slowly getting back into eating and drinking more. Picking up where she had left off with work.
Everyone was happy to see her up and moving from her bedroom to at least the living room while she was still resting. By the end of the week she was half way back to herself with a broken fever finally.
"I'm so happy you're getting better." Dahyun smiled.
"Me too. I'm happy to be out of bed." Momo chuckled. "And I get to do this for a bit." She smiled while pulling Dahyun close to her. She pressed her lips to the younger's forehead, smiling when she heard a tiny giggle escape Dahyun's lips.
"Boo." She pouted.
"When I'm fully better then I'll give you a real kiss." Momo promised.
