Jessie's POV:
I can't believe it. She is actually going to leave me here. Alone.
And yes, i was eavesdropping on Taylor and Demi. What can i say, i'm a nosy person.
After Taylor said yes to being adopted by Demi, i couldn't listen anymore. So i ran upstairs. Crying.
Taylor's POV:
I am still so happy that Demi is adopting me!
But what i saw next, broke my heart.
Jessie. Running upstairs. Crying.
I felt so bad. I knew she was eavesdropping on me and Demi.
"What's wrong with Jessie?" Demi asked
"I don't know. I'm gonna go find out." i lied
As i was walking up the stairs, i could hear silent sobs coming from behind our closed bedroom door.
"Jessie?" i knocked
"Go away." she sobbed
"No, we need to talk." i said
"I don't want to talk to you. Go be with Demi." she said slightly angered
I walked in to our room.
"Jess, please listen to me. You know how much i love you." i said sadly
"Clearly not enough if you're leaving me here. Alone." she said quietly
"No that's not true. You're not alone." i said quickly
"Oh really. Who else do i have besides you? Huh! Who!" She shouted angrily
I was silent
"That's what i thought." She said sadly
Then she walked out leaving me here. Alone
Demis POV:
I went to talk to Miss Jane about adopting Taylor.
"Um, hi Miss Jane?"
She turned around and smiled
"Yes? Oh hello Demetria! How may i help you?" she said cheerfully
"Please call me Demi. And i just came to tell you that i would like to adopt Taylor Matthews."
"Oh good! Taylor must be really excited!" she said excitedly
"I hope so! But when i told her, she seemed very happy." i replied
"Well ,she has been a fan of yours for a very long time now." she said
"So i've heard." i giggled
Taylor's POV:
I can't believe it. Jessie hates me now
I can't live without her. She can't hate me
I ran to the bathroom
"She hates me." i cried
When i looked up through my teary eyes, i noticed the one thing that releases my pain.
My Blade.
I reached to grab it. When i got it, i didn't hesitate to roll up my sleeve.
But then i remembered that Demi was still down stairs. So instead, i rolled up my shirt.
I looked down in disgust.
"I'm so fat." i mumbled
And then i started.
1 Cut
2 Cut
3 Cuts
and more.
When i was done, there was about 25 cuts on the blob of fat i call my stomach.
I started to clean the cuts and the blood off of the floor, then i heard a knock on the door.
"Taylor? Are you in there?" Demi said
Shit. It's Demi
"Yeah give me a sec." i said nervously
"Are you alright?" she said worriedly
"Yeah, j-just give me a sec." Shit, i stuttered
"Okay." she said unconvinced
After i finished cleaning my cuts and wiping up the blood off of the floor, i stepped outside of the bathroom.
"Are you okay? Why were you crying?" Demi asked concerned
Shit, i forgot to wash my face.
"N-no i'm fine." i stuttered again
"Okay. If you say so." she said unconvinced again
"So where's Jessie?" she asked
I started to cry again. She ran to me and started to hug me and try to calm me down
"She hates me. She's mad that i'm moving out of the orphanage. She thinks that i will forget about her and that she is alone." i cried
"Oh Taylor, she doesn't hate you. She's your best friend. You just need to talk to her." she said
"I tried. But she wouldn't listen. She just walked away." i whispered
Then, Jessie walked in.
Jessie's POV:
After running out on Taylor, i felt really bad because the last time we fought, is when i found her cutting. So i had to go back to see if she was ok.
When i was near the door i heard sobs and people talking. So i started to listen.
"She hates me. She's mad that i'm moving out of the orphanage. She thinks that i will forget about her and that she is alone."
"Oh Taylor, she doesn't hate you. She's your best friend. You just need to talk to her."
"I tried. But she wouldn't listen. She just walked away."
And that's when i came in.
"Jess!" Taylor's face lit up when she seen me
"Taylor! I'm so sorry. I over reacted. I was just upset that you're leaving." i said quickly
She ran to hug me
"It's ok." she whispered
"Did you do anything?" i whispered
She tensed up.
"Oh my god Taylor it's all my fault. I shouldn't have told you to go away. I'm the reason, aren't i?" my voice cracked
"No no no, not at all. I did it to myself. I promise it's not your fault. Don't say that." she said
She also started to cry.
"What did you do to yourself?" Demi said
Demis POV:
When Jessie came in Taylor immediately got up to hug her.
As they were hugging i stood there awkwardly quietly watching them. Then i heard Jess ask Taylor if she did something. That's when Taylor's body tensed.
"Oh my god Taylor it's all my fault. I shouldn't have told you to go away. I'm the reason, aren't i?" Jessie whispered
"No no no, not at all. I did it to myself. I promise it's not your fault. Don't say that."
That's when i cut in.
"What did you do to yourself?" i asked concerned
Taylor's POV:
Fucking hell! I forgot Demi was still in the room.
I turned to look at Demi
"Nothing." i said nervous
"Taylor, you know that you can talk to me right. I will help you with any problem that you have." Demi replied
"Tay, you'll have to tell her sooner or later." Jess whispered in my ear
"I choose later." I whispered back
