Awaking from my slumber, I furrowed my eyebrows, looking up at the ceiling then down at the heavy feeling on my stomach.
Dominic was laying directly on me with his ear to my stomach. He'd must've fell asleep there after our long talk last night.
We'd ended up having a full conversation about how we were going to do this. We both knew we shouldn't just jump back into a relationship but we also knew that we had a son on the way who needed both of his parents.
So we both agreed to do what we needed to do as parents and if we ended up back together in the mist of that, they'd be okay too.
"Dominic." I called, needing him to get up so that I could use the bathroom.
"Dom." I called again, making him furrow his eyebrows before his eyes slowly popped opened.
"Get up, I need to pee." I explained to him as he slowly lifted his head up then bent down to kiss my stomach.
When he did, my heart fluttered, watching as he got comfortable in the bed again and fell back to sleep.
While I slowly made my way back toward the bathroom, I couldn't help but to thank god that I didn't get the abortion. If I did, lord only knows how bad he would've continued to be hurt with no one even realizing since he liked to pretend as if he was made of steel. Our baby obviously had major purpose in the both of our lives and I was just thankful for my decisions.
Walking into the bathroom, I quickly handled my business before I washed my hands and left out.
"Bitch, go home. He ain't here." Was all I heard downstairs as I made my way back to Dominic's room.
"Girl, stop lying. I know he's here, I saw his car outside." I heard a familiar voice but I couldn't really put a face on it.
"Yo, bitch. I said he ain't here so go ahead." Deja snapped, making me toot my lips.
Oops. I thought to myself, basically eavesdropping.
"Dominic." I called as I walked back into his room, slowly closing the door behind me.
"What's up, T?" He spoke sleepily as I made my way back over to the bed.
"I think Deja's downstairs arguing with somebody." I went onto say as I got comfortable in his bed.
"About you." I went on.
Sighing deeply, he finally opened his eyes before he sat up and turned around to me.
"Who it sound like?" He asked sleepily, putting his hand on my stomach and I shrugged.
"A girl, that's all I know." I told him and he nodded, rubbing my stomach for a few moments before he got out of the bed.
"Aight." He huffed.
"You hungry?" He went onto ask and I nodded quickly.
"Yes."
"Aight, I'm gon' get you something to eat."
"Pancakes. Please?" I told him since I was randomly in the mood for them and he smirked.
"Aight, I got you, ma."
Nodding, I watched as he moved around the room, getting himself together before he grabbed his hygiene stuff and made his way out of the room.
Moments later, he came back into the room, putting his hygiene stuff back into place and I just sat there watching.
"Tiana." He called, making me raise my eyebrows before he sighed heavily.
"Stay in here, Aight?" He said to me, confusing me as I sat up, wondering what was going on.
"Well I have to leave soon so I can go home and get ready for work. Plus I'm still hungry." I expressed to him with a pout and he nodded.
"Na' I'm still gon' feed you, ma. Just-"
"Just stay up here for a minute. Don't come out the room." He said before he walked out and I couldn't help but to wonder what the hell was going on.

"All of y'all some fucking liars. I thought he wasn't here." Diamond snapped at Deja as I came down the staircase.
"And you a lying ass nigga."
"You ain't shit." She went on, coming at me now.
"You told me you was done with that bitch and here you are with her again. I know what her car looks like, Dominic."
"Look, watch your mouth, shawty." I warned her as I stood there trying to hold my composure.
"I don't have to watch shit!" She went on, yelling and Deja stood there beside me, just waiting for me to give her the go.
"You a lying ass nigga and that bitch dumb for still even being with you."
"Does she know I just sucked your dick last week?" She went on.
"Huh?" She snapped.
"Maybe I should go upstairs and tell her." She tried to side step me but Deja roughly pushed her.
"Bitch, I wish you would." She snapped as the girl bucked.
"And if I do?!"
"Yo, just go home, shawty. That shit over with."
"Yeah, I enjoyed you suckin' my dick but that's all that's ever gone be. We both know that."
"I ain't even fuck you and your ass still on a nigga like that.." I trailed off, watching her fum.
"Look, I got a son on the way." I explained to her, just happy that I could even say that shit.
"I ain't got time to be fuckin' with you." I explained to her and she angrily shook her head.
"So it's over? Really?" She scoffed.
"It's over because that lil bitch came back, begging you to be with her like the last time." She laughed and I nodded slowly.
"Aight, Dej."
"Green light?" She asked and I stood there, hearing my room door creek open.
"Dominic." Tiana called me from the top of the stairs and I sighed deeply.
"Oh so she is here?" Diamond spoke loudly, pulling her hair into a ponytail.
"Yeah yo." I told Deja, giving her the go.
"Get this bitch out the crib."
"Cause if she touch T, I'm gon' have to kill this bitch."
"On my moms, I'm gon' kill this bitch." I told her so she could know I was serious and she ain't hesitate.
I watched as she jumped on the bitch before she could even go up the steps. They started going at it and Deja was beating the breaks off shawty while I jogged up the staircase, making sure T was good.
"I thought I told you to stay in the room, Tiana." I spoke sternly, grabbing her hand and guiding her back into my room.
"Well yeah but I also told you that I was hungry."
"And.." She trailed off.
"I wanted to be nosey." She smiled as I made her sit down and I got on my knees, putting my hands on her stomach.
"Na' you don't need to go out there right na'." I told her, trying to see if I could feel my son.
"Why?"
"Because of the girl Deja is currently beating up downstairs?" She asked, making me smirk.
"Is that the one that enjoys sucking your dick for some reason?" She went onto ask as I continued to feel her stomach but I still felt nothing.
"Um, hello.." She trailed off, grabbing my face to make me look at her.
"Is it her?" She asked.
"Yeah.." I trailed off, standing to my feet and sitting beside her.
"And I needed you to stay in here because if she put her hands on you or even say anything to you, I was gon' catch a case."
"But I'm not even tryn' be in no shit like that right na' cause my son. You know?" I explained to her as a smile fell upon her face while I leaned down, feeling her stomach again.
"My son, ma." I repeated, just happy to say that shit.
"Okay, Dominic." She chuckled, moving my hands. I knew she was getting tired of me but a nigga was excited.
"Just go and handle it so I can eat and then leave. I'm really hungry." She shooed me.
"Aight. Just give me five, ma."
