You and Clem walked to y'all room after returning from the greenhouse because Ruby moved AJ in there. Once you both enter, you see him asleep on the bed. Clementine walks up to him and puts a hand on his forehead.
Y/N: He doing better?
Clementine: Yep.
Y/N: Thank God.
You hear your door open and again. You turn around and see Louis standing there, holding a couple of shirts.
Louis:I uh... brought you guys these. I noticed that his shirt is... well, you know, ruined.
You walks over to the table and sets them down.
Clementine: Where did you get those?
Louis: They were Tenn's, back when he got here. They should be about AJ's size. How is he doing?
Clementine: Better. His fever's going down. Thanks for carrying him in.
Louis: No problem... So, we've got a greenhouse again. And bombs.
Y/N: Yeah. That's Mitch's idea.
Louis: Yeah, I figured. Violet said we'll start prepping here in the morning.
Y/N: Sounds good.
Louis: They all seem okay with letting you guys stay. For now, that is.
Y/N: That's all I wanted. A place so Clem and AJ can be safe. But I doubt they still forgiven us, right?
Louis: Uh... yeah. Most of them still don't like you two.
Clementine: How do you feel? About letting us stay.
Louis: I don't mind, while AJ gets better.
Y/N: What about after?
Louis: I don't know.
AJ: Clem? Y/N?
Clementine kneels next to him.
Clementine: Hey, kiddo. How do you feel?
AJ: Better. Still hurts.
Y/N: Oh, I know, kiddo.
He turns to Louis.
AJ: Hi, Louis.
Louis: Hey, little dude.
AJ: I missed you. Are we friends again?
Louis: Just focus on getting some rest, okay?
He starts walking away.
Y/N: Hey, Louis?
He stops.
Y/N: Me and Clem are very sorry... for all the pain we caused. We didn't want any of this happen.
Louis: It... it wasn't just y'all. Marlon, he... It doesn't matter. I should go.
He walks out of the room.
AJ: I'm not mad at him anymore, are you?
Clementine: Me and Y/N weren't mad at him.
Y/N: We may have acted like it, but deep down, we understand why he acted that way.
AJ: Me too.
Clementine: Let's look at these shirts Louis brought up.
You and her walked over to the table. You picked up the Disco Broccoli shirt.
Y/N: Debates over. It's Disco Broccoli.
AJ: I like Disco Broccoli.
Y/N: I wished you could've seen the actual show.
Clementine: Okay, kids.
Y/N: Hey! Disco Broccoli was amazing and you can't deny it!
She giggles as she turns to AJ.
Clementine: You can put it one once you're feeling better, okay?
AJ: Yeah.
Clementine: Alright, it's time for sleep.
AJ: I can't sleep with the light on.
You blew out the candle.
Y/N: Better?
AJ: Better.
Clementine looks at you.
Clementine: Smartass.
AJ: Swear.
You laugh as you got in the bed.
Clementine: Goodnight, sleep tight.
AJ: Don't let a walker bite.
Clementine: And if they try?
AJ: Bang...
He starts snoring.
Y/N: He's out cold like I've never seen.
Clementine: Yeah. It's nice.
She gets in the bed next you and does her usual thing where she hugs you and lays her head onto your chest.
Clementine: Night.
Y/N: Goodnight.
You closed your eyes, soon, drifting off.

Two Weeks Later
It's been two weeks and the school is almost ready for the attack. Tomorrow, everyone will do all the finishing touches they need to do. You quickly hopped in bed with Clem and soon, sleep overcame you.
You didn't get to sleep long because shortly after falling asleep, you were awaken by Clementine twisting and turning. You opened your eyes and looked at her, she looked and sounded like she was in pain. You got of the bed and knelt down next her, you grabbed her shoulder and lightly started shaking.
Y/N: Clem? Clementine?
Suddenly she jerks up and starts panting heavily.
Y/N: Hey, hey! It's alright... Just chill... It's okay...
She turns to you and hugs you tightly, burying her face into your shoulder. You can feel her tears. You slowly rubbed her back.
Y/N: It's alright... you're safe. I'm here. Another dream about the ranch?
You feel her weakly nod.
Y/N: I'm sorry that I can't do much.
Clementine: Just... just don't let go, please...
You held her tighter.
Y/N: It's alright... I'm here, I'll protect you. It wasn't real... just remember, it wasn't real. Me and AJ are here for you.
You feel her tears stop. You pulled away and looked her in the eye.
Y/N: Better?
She gives you a heart-warming smile and nods.
Clementine: Thank you... so much.
You wiped some of the tears of her face.
Y/N: Anytime. I'm glad I can help.
She then looks behind you and raises a eyebrow.
Y/N: What?
You turned around and see AJ sitting on the dresser.
Y/N: Uh... what're you doing, kiddo?
AJ: Clem was having a nightmare. Then same one she used to have all the time. About the ranch.
Clementine: I'm gonna be okay. Y/N's helping me with it.
Y/N: What do you got in your hands?
He shrugs his shoulders.
Y/N: Did you have a bad dream, too?
Clementine: You've been having them a lot lately.
AJ: I feel safer like this. Not sleeping. I wanna stay up forever. I think I could.
Y/N: Heh. No, it's impossible. I've heard you can die from lack of sleep, so don't attempt it.
Clementine: I never seen that knife before. Did you make it?
He nods.
Clementine: When?
AJ: While you guys were busy.
Clementine: It must've taken days.
AJ: I couldn't stop thinking about it until I made it.
He groans and clutches his stomach.
Y/N: Here. Let's get back to bed.
AJ: No. I don't want you guys always checking up on me. You always say, be tough. So I am. You say, be strong. And I will.
Clementine: You're the toughest boy I know. Probably the toughest boy in the whole world. And before you whine, Y/N. I said boy, not man.
Y/N: I was about to say.
She giggles.
AJ: Yeah no one's as tough as you two.
Clementine: You got that right.
AJ: I'm sorry you guys have to do all the hard work. To... atone me.
He hops of the dresser.
AJ: I'm gonna help you two more. So you don't have to do everything.
Y/N: Where are you going?
AJ: On patrol.
Y/N: Patrol?
AJ: For danger.
Clementine: Hmm what of you stayed here instead? If you go back to sleep, Y/N and I'll make sure no more bad dreams will come.
AJ: You guys can't do that. You're not magic.
Y/N: You don't know what we are. What if we were hiding it the whole time?
His eyes widen for a second.
AJ: No, you don't.
You chuckled and he to your bed.
AJ: Can I... could I maybe sleep in your bed? Like how I used to?
Clementine: Yeah. Come on up.
AJ: I'm not scared. Just tired.
Clementine: Makes sense to me.
He climbs up the bed and gets between you two. You three close your eyes and you almost fall asleep.
Clementine: AJ?
AJ: Yeah?
You snicker.
Y/N: Who's hand is that?
You started laughing hysterically. Clementine sits up and slaps you.
Y/N: Ow! Okay, inappropriate joke is not good, got it.
AJ: What does that mean?
Y/N: Uh... it's another saying for sleep well.
AJ: Oh, okay...
Things are silent for a second.
Clementine: You're still our little goofball, AJ.
AJ: Yeah, I know.
You closed your eyes again and you drifted off to sleep.
