I started this video at the end of episode 29...but i had so many feelings about this epiosde and what we went through that lead up the final moments that i never finished it...I only revisited it this past March... yep over a year later....i recomend watching the vid after the recap as it spoils the ending ;)

Hello Ablas I know these episodes lately have been painful...I'm right there with you...even now pressing play for episode 29 is hurting and I pushed it off until Friday soooo i am assuming you probably wont be reading this until late Sunday maybe even Monday ....and yep update... it took me two weeks to watch this one episode and one full week to try to edit my recap...it was just too painful to sit through for long periods of time...uffff ya... ok we got this ablas we can do this ...let's start....

We start off the episode with Can being given Fabri's launch party invite in front of the whole agency...with a sample of Perfume...oh no... Can goes to smell it with a terrified Sanem standing next to him realizing her lie is about to be exposed in the worst way possible

Can gives Sanem this look and Sanem gives this scared encouraging smile before he takes a whiff of the perfume

Can sprays it 5x on his wrist and before he smells it Sanem says: Can i need to tell you something...Can smells the perfume and then...nothing...wow they messed up her perfume that bad? ...Can says it smells typical and generic, nothing special... after 5 sprays? ...i dont buy that but i am relieved though that her Scent is not really being produced by Fabri

Sanem is relieved and says that its such a ridiculous, terrible, and generic smell

Can: what did you want to tell me Sanem, you said Can I need to say something etc

Sanem: it's not important i'll tell you later...Can doesn't buy it but moves on as this is her M.O now - she is about to say something and then backtracks and not then promises to tell him later but never does it...Can just lets it roll off his back but it is still creating distance between them... you can see it

Mckinnon comes into the office fuming and raging and Can meets him embarrassed as the whole company is watching as well...Can asks Mckinon to go to his office to talk calmly...Mckinnon is like you know where we stand in our contract don't you aka you are about to lose it...Can looks so sad as this is his hero and he says he is ashamed that Mckinon lost confidence in his company and he will try to make it right...Mckinnon goes with Can to his office

Fabri and Aylin are at Fabri's office .... They are gloating about how well their plan has worked...so Fabri is saying that the perfume is taking longer than expected...so did he think that the perfume sample he sent Can was a little sample of Sanem's perfume or was it a diversion?....ugh this story is so convoluted...Fabri tells Aylin to be aptient as everything will happen in it's right time

Can tells Mckinon everything will happen in its right time....ok so is this the theme of the episode or just a transition...i mean we know everything is the opposite of that...nothing is in its right time in this episode :( ....nothing

Can apologizes saying they should have chosen employees and partners to join the agency more carefully....uffff again it goes back to Sanem bringing Fabri into the agency when really it was Emre bribing that caused this all

Mckinon says that being remorseful is useless ...Harsh but i get it doesnt fix the issue

Can says the Mckinnon is right and he will make sure they make up for any of Mckinon's losses...poor Can

Mckinnon: I hope so because you know what will happen next. our lawyers will be in touch ....uffff how horrible for your hero to be threatening lawsuits.... I would have hidden in a cave humiliated

Can can barely look at Mckinnon as he leaves...he is so devastated

Then Can tells Emre its not about the loss of money but now the agency will lose its prestige because of Fabri...He tells Emre to call Aylin and Emre is like nope she doesn't answer..and Can just says call her again until she answers....wow... ya like that will happen...he is way too trusting of Emre ...does Emre really want to find Aylin eh it's a toss up

Aylin and Fabri are again gloating seeing Emre calling her..and for some reason Fabri gives Aylin a check to start a new life....i don't understand this but good for you Aylin everyone is giving you everything

Back at Can's office- Can tells Emre he isn't surprised Aylin wont answer because she did everything she wanted...Can says they will find evidence and put her in jail

Sanem enters and asks for an update and Can tells the sad news about Mckinon not trusting them and being rightfully upset and how Mckinnon wont work with them anymore

Sanem sits and holds Can's hand saying dont worry it will all pass...Can isnt comforted and frankly it's a small generic response.. .I wish she would have said i'm sorry i know he was your hero this must hurt but im by your side through this all....ama its Asli

While Emre is on the phone with Mckinon's lawyers and Canem are holding hands ..the agency workers are spying on it all

Guliz says Aylin's name and it causes Ceycey to panic and slap the guy he usually slaps lmao...i laugh every time ceycey beats on that guy lol i cant

Ceycey tells Guliz to not say Aylin's name as when you say her name she tends to pop up lol...lmao that is true Aylin is like beetlejuice or rumplestiltskin ...totally same vibe

Ceycey continues holding his nazer to control the negative energy

Deren tells them to calm down everything will be fine...then they have this chaotic scene of the workers trying to go back to work overly dramatic...not my humor really

Canem and Emre in Can's office

Can realizes that he hasn't looked so well at the contracts and Red Mode was thorough and they are going to be paying a huge compensation for what happened....but Can doesn't care about it, all he cares about is that his dad entrusted the agency to him and that Aziz spent decades building a beautiful reputation... and now the reputation will be brought down to an amatuer level

Deren comes into the office really devastated and tells Can that she was the one to give Aylin the information

Can: what did you do? ...he can't believe it as she is the person he can always trust

Deren is in tears saying she got all turned around and Aylin wanted to see the final project as we were all working on it together and she showed Aylin the final product....Emre and Sanem are like wuuhhhhhhhhh....I mean both Emre and Sanem can't judge as they were both not innocent ...Sanem giving that perfume and all the times she gave Can's ad info to emre...and Emre...well being Emre

Can is so upset: Deren im having a bit of trouble understanding, what did you do? You showed everything? Just the images?

Deren: yes i showed her the images but maybe she also saw and read the rest.....Deren is so heartbroken that she fell for Aylin's plans

Can: so you believed in Aylin and showed her everything right?

Deren: Can please believe me it happened so suddenly i was taken by surprise, she said she was a partner too of this company and that we were running out of time and working all together, i really didn't think she would do anything bad, i'm really sorry, im really sorry

Can: Deren, sorry cant fix this

Deren: Can you know this agency means everything to me, this agency is my life, i've never done anything to hurt this company i'll make everything better i will fix this

Can: Deren, I think you should rest for a while, ok, so we can get your compensation ready and during your rest...:( dont do this Can she was manipulated by Aylin please dont do this

Deren is so shocked he would do this...i would have been shocked with Can doing this in Ayse's days but Asli's Can is cold AF... she didnt hide anything from him she made a mistake and told him right away

Deren: Can

Can:I dont know what to say, this mistake is so big, it's unacceptable ....I don't want to use harsh words with you, Do you understand Deren? But now we can longer work together....Deren is still crying and Can looks so mad and defeated

Can is standing so close to her yelling in her face and it hurts to see

Deren cries: You are right, you are right, i have nothing to say but you are right, im so sorry, I'm so so sorry

Deren is so emotional, and Sanem is emotional too....and Can is just mad he is not upset that he just lost a friend he still can't believe Deren would do something like this...If this scene was done the way i would like ...Can would be teary eyed as well using his sad voice instead of his angry one...it made sense she needs to be fired but the way it was done with this anger? It just hurt more because it took the compassion from his face for his friend who was manipulated and did not hide anything from him....i kinda got it with Metin he hid his dealings with Can's mother...Metin chose to do that....but deren never lies to him ...I mean she hid her realizing it was Sanem's idea but she never hid something from him as a bretrayal

Deren leaves the office and it hurts to see her go that way

Can continues speaking to Emre and Sanem upset more than hurt : this is unacceptable it's deren

Emre: she is the one we trust most brother what did you do, it is clear Aylin tricked Deren

Can: So she only tricked Deren huh? Aylin came into this office and made us all a fool

Emre: you wanted this so that we could keep an eye and stop her from doing anything behind our backs

Can yelling: ya so now she didnt need to do it behind our back she did it right here in front of us

Sanem is sitting not speaking but witnessing this whole thing almost numb while really loathing herself and her choices

Emre to Can: calm down...seriously Can go boxing or something because you are at an 11 we need you at a 6 or 7 tops k buddy

Can: i dont want to talk about this anymore, i'm tired of this....he looks at Sanem this time...Can: I am sick of all the lies...and Sanem heard that...Can: i dont want lies in my life anymore, i dont want it, im tired of all these bad tricks, do you understand i'm tired?

This statement of being tired really hit home for me... it is showing how since he came back to istanbul he keeps having to deal with one thing after another...The moment Can thinks he got everything under control, another disaster occurs...his dad being sick, the spy repeatedly messing things up, the photo license, sanem rejecting him, then sanems first lie, the next series of sabotage by aylin, Huma's return, the Sanem's refusal, and now this... It's like Can is underwater..he keeps trying to come back up to the surface for air, but then he keeps getting pushed back down...he is tired of breaking and he just doesn't want to feel it anymore...it kinda mirrors what he says in episode 30 after Canem dance- he is just tired...but i will talk about that more then ...ufff ya its only one episode a way

Can: i will go crazy, I am not going to tolerate this with anything or anyone anymore, do you understand me...and He goes to get his coat to leave

Deren is walking out of the office devastated when Huma walks in with a cheerful "Merhaba" hello...her outfit is intense as she is looking more and more like Cruella Devil everyday....Huma sees Can leaving and Can says to leave him alone...and then Sanem is trailing behind him again...Can not acknowledging Sanem and he clearly didn't ask her to come with him....this always hurts seeing that as Sanem is supposed to be the one person he chooses to go to...he has barely acknowledged her existence in this whole episode which has been 16 mnutes and they have been together the whole time... they aren't connected at all...Sanem almost feels like an extra on the set right now...Sanem keeps running after him and it is so heartbreaking to see the distance between them

Leyla asks Emre what happened...Emre tells Leyla about Deren and Aylin and how Can fired Deren as a result...Leyla is shocked...and thes Ceycey tells Guliz that Deren is fired

Can is walking out of the building and Sanem finally catches up to him by his car

Sanem: let me come with you, you dont look good

Can barely looks at her: I'm fine Sanem, i just need to be alone for a little and get some fresh air

Sanem:Ok, Let's take some fresh air together, i want to be with you, I promise you won't even feel my existence, i won't talk

Can: How could i not feel your existence? ...he says it playfully but i dont know it feels off....Can: you promsie you arent going to talk?

Can puts his arm around Sanem

SAnem: i promise i wont talk...

Can: i wonder how i will see that

Sanem: you will see

I think this moment is supposed to reference their night together under the stars, during the photo license scandal...She apologized then realizing she invaded his space and that she was boring him, and he said i am never bored with you gahhh loved that moment...then she claimed to keep quiet and he won't notice her existence while she was camping out near him, but she kept talking and inviting him over to share a pillow gahhh loved that scene....i want to think this moment is to remind us of that moment...but the sentiment feels different

Canem get into the car and Sanem is already talking about everyone in the office being surprised etc....Can doesn't look amused with the chatter....uffff ya even their Canem moments are too distant now

They drive away together and i am just sad how this couple has developed....and by developed i mean lack thereof

Fabri and his partner Mina talk in his office- Mina asks why the rush of the perfume launch and Fabri says there is more to things than business...ya because he is cray so taking down Can Divit is more important than his own business...Mina looks worried by his response and poor business choices

Emre tells Huma about Aylin and she is shocked...because you know Huma is a great judge of character....Huma is trying to figure out how to bring back the prestige of the company but doesnt think to get Ceyda involved because Can didnt hook up with ceyda...

Emre:Can behaved professionally and so will ceyda....because Emre is sometimes Naive AF

Huma is like ok lets see ....for once me and Huma are on the same page with this Ceyda idea...Ceyda probably wont do anything

Emre calls and just on cue ...Ceyda who is always all over this office, cant seem to find the time to help

Huma blames it all on Can for ya know not hooking up with a client while already having a girlfriend...What is the matter with Can right?!...ick she is a creepy mother

Huma: your brother always does things by his heart and not his mind...and she says that as if it's a bad thing

Canem in the car

Sanem: Can please don't be upset

Can doesn't respond but takes out his camera....FINALLY it has been almost 7 full episodes of this new Can Divit with his " stylish artsy, ad agency" style instead of rustic and styling photographer ....We spoke a lot about that in the group missing it...and I think we collectively squealed at the sight of his camera playing a role again in this show

Can tells Sanem he wants to take pictures to relieve some of his tension....totally get that and so glad this is happening...best self care in this moment for him is to get back to his roots with self expression through photography...ok sorry I am putting my Art Therapist hat away right now ;)

Can tells Sanem to tie her laces lol and Sanem aka Demet does take a moment bending down before leaving the car to tie her shoes lmao so i guess we can say this is another CY improv where they dont have to stop filming but also Demet wont potentially hurt herself...he does that a lot where he will move things out of the way for her as part of the scene so she doesn't get hurt...its sweet...before they leave hand in hand he compliments her shoes lol ...and i wont talk about how he realized her shoes were untied ;) clearly checking her fully out in that car moment...ok i said it

Canem go to the boardwalk to have fun and take pictures....FINALLY some real Canem moments where there is no weirdness

Can keeps taking photos of Sanem and it is bringing me back to the women's campaign photo shoot and simpler times of them just falling in love with each other

Can takes a lot of pictures where Sanem is posing but then he would break off from those and just take candid pictures of people and the embankment

I really love when Can takes picture of life in motion ...no poses just he sees something beautiful in an ordinary action and takes pictures of it...it connects to the origin of his character as a photographer who would go and take not posed pictures but pictures out in the jungle with small communities and do social justice pieces

it happens to be the actual photographer for EK did beautiful work-...I still follow him on IG as his photos are beautiful...background - they use photographers on set to look at lighting and how scenes need to be shot etc they are a really important part of the cinematography....and he gave killer bts pics too ;) his name is morteza atabaki ...his work is special

So the song playing in the background was i believe the apple scene in Kiralik ask with Omer and Defne lol if you dont know what i'm referencing it is worth watching....Kiralik Ask episode 40 just skip right to the end ;) no background info necessary...TRUST ME

Canem are all cuddles together looking through his lense...now normally he doesn't let anyone look at his pics before he develops them but we will let this slide as it is an adorable moment that ends with a sweet kiss and brings back the old Canem vibes before the perfume lie...and then we get a little Sanem kiss on Can's cheek which i love when she goes to kiss him...she does it a couple of times and Sanem, or i think Demet really, gets shy or laughs at something she did and buries her head in Can's shoulder and he starts to laugh as well ... like really laugh and it's a really cute moment

Canem meet up with an old fisherman/friend... Captain Tahsin

Tahsin asks Can where he has been since the summer....I am wondering that too ...

Can: there has been a lot of work, im not happy about that either wish it could be different :(

Can starts talking with his old friend and it is so sweet ...Can starts to help him with his boxes that need to go onto the boat and hands Sanem his camera....the only person Can would be so free to do that with

And then Sanem starts taking pictures of Can...Ama wuhhhh? Not sure how i feel about her so easily taking pictures with his camera but i do love what comes after so I'll be kind to Sanem and give her a break....what?! She is about to go through a lot, I can totally be generous sometimes ;)

Sanem then yells for Can to look up and Can is like no take as if i don't know lol

The fisherman says come back and we will sail together....:( sorry that is too soon lol i mean it has only been what a year since episode 39...but still too soon, too soon

Can tells Sanem to take pictures of him while he comes towards her like a bird with his wings out ...sighhhhhh love the albatros trying to return

Can gives his little bobble head move and it's so cute ...I love when Canem are just able to have fun together

Canem look at the pictures together...ya know with Can's arms around Sanem like anyone looking at pictures together would do ;) sighhhhh

Can: looks like you took pictures better than me, the student has become the master...Keske we actually got to see moments of him teaching sanem about photography ..ever since that first hut scene where he promised to show her how he developed his pictures, i waited for that scene...them in a literal dark room and creating something together ....sighhhhhh... ama neyse

Sanem decides in her head she needs to tell Can everything

Can: seems like you are away now thinking in your head about something...and he suggests they go to get some food and she agrees and they walk off with Can's arm wrapped around Sanem ...swooon

At the Mahalle, Nihat is getting attitude for charging for plastic bags...welcome to my world lol we just started this where i live ...you get used to it ...but the Mahalle women are now leaving holding their groceries without bags lmao been there done that...then Mevkibe comes and shows Nihat that she is planning to add organic foods to the store because of what the dietician said... this show and dolunay are obsessed with organic food ....and shocker Nihat and Mevkibe fight about it

Back in the office, Emre is calling Aylin with no answer surprise surprise.... she got what she needed Emre she won't be answering your yelling call...then Leyem talk in Emre's office

Leyla says that this was what was expected if he trusted Aylin...Emre: what do you mean by Trusting her?...

Leyla: if you didnt trust her why would you be Sevgiler....always about Leyem never about how the world around them is crumbling

Emre tells Leyla that Aylin and him never got back together after they broke up....

Leyla: what do you mean, but aylin came and told me you were secretly together

Emre: so you believed this huh?....i mean why not Emre? You pushed Leyla away 2x and did have a secret romance with Aylin before and Leyla saw when Aylin kissed you so i think i would believe it too...Leyla says what she saw about Aylin and Emre's closeness and Emre explains it was one sided

Emre: that wasn't why you?....oh now he is getting it....Emre: that's why you got engaged to Osman, because you were angry at me?

Just as leyla is about to respond Osman comes in to Emre's office looking for Leyla ...oh boy

They greet each other and Osman holds her hand but she is not holding it back and Emre is staring at those hands as if Osman and Leyla are making out infront of him

Osman and Leyla have a conversation still in Emre's office....Osman called and Leyla didn't answer so he came to see her....uffff ya he's becoming that guy

Leyla tells Osman that she will be taking time off because Can Bey agreed and Emre chimes in that the office is not ok now and so it will be impossible for her to take vacation...double meaning for sure

Osman and Leyla leave Emre's office hand in hand and Emre is enraged by it and breaks his pencil

Osman tries to be all cute when Leyla asks about drinking coffee together...Osman: Should I refuse drinking coffee with my fiance....ufff ya just end it Leyla its killing me

Ceycey calls after Osman...Ceycey first just says Osman then changes it to Abi Osman to give him a little more respect as Osman didnt look pleased by Ceycey calling him only Osman...Ufff before he would have been fine with it...Osman asks about ceycey's living situations and Ceycey says its going well and then Osman does this patting his face move that seemed like he was speaking down to ceycey - and says call if you need help with this....this is so unlike Osman attitude...clearly the acting, and new fiance combo is getting to Osman...cough cough aka Asli cough cough

Ceycey wonders if he should ask Can bey if he is going to fire him...but then he decides against it because if he asks then Can will fire him then lol i feel bad for ceycey always fearing being fired thats a lot of pressure

Poor Guliz is not willing to accept that Deren was fired she tells Ceycey it must be like a vacation or something

Ceycey tells Guliz that he loves her so much as a friend and Guliz says me too...awww cute

Ceycey: pretend I am Can bey and you are me i want to figure out if i wll fire myself...lmao and Ceycey wanting to pretend to be Can has an early start lol ....I will never stop laughing at ceycey in 40

Ceycey picks up the phone for Melihat who he is trying to rent from and acts like he is a big important person in the office checking everyone's work while on the phone- he picks up the guys phone he always bullies while still on the phone with Meilhat and says oh its from america? And he talks in english lmao and the guy says what are you doing ...Ceycey: hi, good good good, its a deal win win, you are very funny bahahahah no ceycey you are lmao

Mevkibe brings all her organic stuff into the store and is pleased with herself that it fits ama Nihat is pissed because it is covering and smooshing all of his other products...yes smooshing is a real word that very sophisticated writers use on very specific occasions ;) ....Mevkibe blames his annoyance on his dieting and he is not amused lol

Canem have some cay outside in a restaurant together

Can looks so sad still lost in thought about Mckinnon...their time taking pictures was a distraction for him but now he is right back where he was

Sanem: you have retreated back into yourself again what are you thinking about

Can: i don't know which thing to think about Sanem....ya Can has been having a week for sure the rejection in the proposal, Sanem hiding things from him and pulling away, his mom being back, the spy, his hero losing faith in him and bringing down the agency's name and letting down his dad as a result...uff i would be losing it too

Can: I am so tired of everything, and all the lies, i know talking like this upsets you too, but i am so sick and tired of it all, all these schemes and lies it is too much for me, It is so difficult to stay here. There is only one thing keeping me here and it's you, otherwise i would have left long ago.... :'''''( this breaks my heart...it also lets you see that even when they were broken up the first time....he didnt leave never even attempted it ...he just couldn't ... he needed her with him

Can: why does everyone have to hide things from me, first Emre now Deren?....wow.... slow down Emre was a betrayal , Deren just made a mistake

Can: what is going on, out of all the people in my life I should be able to trust them

Sanem: People sometimes make mistakes when they are afraid to lose someone they love the most, do you know that Can, and Deren....

Can: she had no bad intentions, you were going to say right? And you are probably right But Sanem she forgot that we were a team- she acted all by herself. It's not only she showed Ayin the campaign etc it was that

Sanem: you're right

Can: there is a quote- The highest cliff you can fall from is trust, and this is so true and once you fall from there everything breaks into small pieces....i searched this quote and it is supposedly from the show Mozart in the Jungle...if you find an earlier source please share ;)

This really upsets Sanem as we know she needs to tell him everything the truth and it will destroy him

Can sees Sanem upset and tries to comfort her..Can: Ok im sorry dont get upset ok, really i will set everything right ok don't worry. It is you who gives me confidence Sanem, ok please....Can is upset whenever Sanem is upset and it is so heartbreaking what has been done to them

Sanem: look we can get through it together, we'll treat each other's wounds, let's go back to the agency, We'll all talk together. We'll work all day and night if needed and we will make a new project, and once we share it with Mckinnon maybe he will give us another chance and everything will go back on track again....this is the Sanem i know and love- fighting to save the company and to work hard to do it

Can: it's impossible Sanem, I feel so embarrassed in front of Mckinnon, i don't want to give him another promise on top of everything

Sanem: are you sure

Can: no im not sure but i dont want to make any decision too hastily and make things more complicated...poor Can he is usually is ready to make the impossible work but it just got too much for him

Can: should we stop for a while, maybe we should stay away from the agency for a couple of days....I love that he includes her in this plan that he wants to go but with her...always...no dont bring up 39 we wont open that pandora's box yet

Can: i need to listen to myself, i need to think clearly, Sanem, all i need is you...sighhhhhh ok this is going to hurt like a mother

Can kisses Sanem's hand and it makes me sad

Sanem: Can, I...

Can: i know, you're always next to me i know

Sanem nods sad but happy he knows that and she holds his cheek in her hands and then he kisses that hand and it is a sweet and devastating moment because you can feel the goodbye in it

Emre is watching the surveillance feed and sees what we already knew that Aylin stole Sanem's idea

Huma tells Emre to go to the house and bring Can in 2 hours because there is no time to waste after losing the campaign...ya so why would Can listen to you now?

Ceycey, ayhan and Muzzo go to Melihat's rental so Ceycey can sign the rental agreement- Ceycey keeps rereading and rereading the rental contract and they are all pushing him to sign it...yep soooo ceycey is smart enough to read thoroughly through his contracts ...oh the irony is not lost on me...why couldnt he have taught this to Sanem....after some crazy back and forth between ceycey and melihat, ceycey finally signs the papers...welcome to the Mahalle Ceycey..as they all leave Melihat asks Muzzo: is ceycey a bit crazy?..Muzzo: a bit but he is a good guy you chose well....awwww Muzzo being nice for his Earny....and yes I call Muzzo and Ceycey Burt and Earnie they totally got that friendship and eventual "roommate" vibe

Huma is sitting in a cafe waiting for someone...is it Ceyda?...nope...Polen..grrr

This really bothers me because Polen knows how much Can hates his mother....she knows the history and everything...if she really loved Can she wouldn't be trying to scheme behind his back with his mother...if things were different i think Polen's return could have been really interesting ... the one person who would never lie to Can and he always could confide in before sanem coming back when he finds out about the lie...that would have been a real dilemma but this non sense of her scheming with Huma, is a different polen from the original...this storyline is just hurtful showing that no one in his life has ever truly been honest and there for him

Polen tells Huma that her dad divorced his third wife and Huma is all ears ...and he is living in Istanbul...oh Huma better get on it...Huma just unpaused the husband find and it is all over her eyes

Polen tells Huma that Can is happy she is back, he is probably just hiding it...uff ya stop doing this polen...we know he is this hurt boy who really just wants his mom but she has done nothing to gain his trust...now stop telling the inner thinkings of Can to his mother...it just really makes me sad that its like she isnt that same person who he always confided in originally...it's like she always had something behind his back and was staying in touch with Huma without Can knowing all along... Ufff ya ....Asli is so cruel

Huma wants Poeln to be runner up to ceyda

Huma claims to know what Can needs for a romantic partner and its not Sanem it is Polen

Then Emre calls interrupting their sweet moment asking where Can is

Can gets mad asking why he is asking where Can is....maybe because its still a work day Can bey and you left with no word of returning while the office scrambles not knowing what the next move is besides that they have no creative director?

Emre tells Can that Huma wants them to go to the house

Can: why do i care? I have nothing to say to this woman

Emre: she is inviting you to come talk...i still get annoyed that Huma is inviting Can to his own house

Can: what will she say to me? Huh?

Emre: Abi, please she will insist until you come to talk, you know her

Can: ufff, ok ok i will come....i mean why now does he give in? Why would her insisting matter to him?...Can hangs up the phone and Sanem asks what's happening

Can: Humanim will tell us something important....awww that is so sad he calls her Ms. Huma without even thinking, like it is natural to not call her Ane

Sanem: Can if she says it is important it may be serious....ufff ya stop talking Sanem you dont get it and it is so frustrating to see you push Can to Huma after everything she has and will do to him

Sanem: maybe it will be something that will make you forgive her and you will get along again

Ceycey's stuff hasn't arrived at the new apt yet and he is freaking out to Sanem, Ayhan and Muzzo

Ceycey: What if they took my things to make a ceycey duplicate? Lmao i would love a ceycey duplicate ...where can i get one?

They convince him the movers are late because of traffic

Ceycey convinces Sanem to not give up and think of a plan for the agency...Cecey: anything can happen if you don't give up...he uses the metaphor if someone invites you to an engagement you should come and Sanem adds even dance at the wedding...and ayhan and ceycey get all mushy talking about it aww so cute...and Sanem runs off excited to start a plan of attack to save the company

Then all the teyzes come to welcome Ceycey with food to the Mahalle

Sanem and Leyla talk at home

Leyla: how is Can bey?

Sanem: he was bad but is better now...ummm that's not what i saw...he is anything but better Sanem

Sanem tells Leyla that Emre was right about Can wanting to leave....dude...i'm not going to write it again but this all could have gone down so differently....you are causing him to leave by holding on to this secret

Sanem cant believe that Deren would fall for Aylin's evil but it would be normal for Emre to because he was with Aylin...agreed

Leyla: it was a lie they weren't together....ummmm ya but they were before and she had him wrapped around her finger and still believing her even in the end ...WAKE UP LEYLA

Sanem asks Leyla if she regrets being engaged now that she knows Emre is not with Aylin...and Leyla of course says no it should happen this way...Osman's feelings be damned

Sanem tells Leyla she wants to make a new ad for redmode and surprise Can with it...yesss

But Sanem first goes to help ceycey unpack...because that cant wait? I dont know why they are in a time crunch and she takes her time gathering the troops

Ceycey, Sanem, Ayhan, and Muzzo have a montage of them going crazy unpacking in his new apartment....Ceycey at one point falls on top of Ayhan and they look a little bashful and Sanem makes a kissy face at them...and that's pretty much the scene *she says with a shrug of her shoulders* ;)

Fabri talks to Mina again and she asks about what is this sacma about stealing the redmode campaign...Fabri says it is true and Mina is surprised and not happy about this...

Fabri: i told you i would destroy Can...

Mina:Are you crazy? You aren't destroying Can you are destroying us

just remember she was ok with destroying Can before but not when it comes to interfering with her business ... so lets not paint this woman as a hero for what she is about to do...

this scene literally happens 2x in this episode ...the same exact conversation once here and then once right after Emre and Can talk with Huma about Aziz so lets pretend i wrote this 2x ;)

Can goes to home to the divit house to talk with Huma and Emre

Again still not sure why now he is ok to talk to her now all of a sudden but neyse let's hear the lies that she is about to talk about

Huma wants to discuss the hate that Can has toward his mother...and Can is sending her death glares

Huma now does a real selfish thing and it still makes me sick to my stomach

Huma: you have set your life around that your father is your hero and you only see what happened in your life from his eyes

Can: keske you were here near me and i could have seen it from your eyes....ohhh wish i could hug 8 year old Can right now...Can says this coldly to Huma but in his eyes you see the hurt little kid saying it

Huma: fine, now you will listen and your mom will talk, Your father divorced me because he cheated on me

Both Can and Emre are shocked by this statement as it doesn't fit with Aziz's character...Huma just crushed the one stable and good person Can felt he had in his childhood and life...in this moment you see another pillar of his life come crashing down...even if this really happened, it is so selfish to tell this to Can when he is dealing with so much right now just so he may start to like you again

She tells them that Aziz cheated with an assistant....ahhhhh i hate her

Huma: i was so broken, he was the person i trusted most. I left home and he was regretful and sad and he asked for forgiveness. But i couldn't forgive him. So he wouldn't let you (Can) come with me. I tried to fight but Emre was so little, and he needed me most, So i took emre and left....ya so news flash a little boy needs his mother you dont get to decide if an 8 yr old can handle being without a mother.

Huma: i didnt take anything from your dad except the shares i have of the company. I went to live with your grandmother, and i couldnt live with her as we would fight all the time. Then i married again and i had to go abroad as a result. Your dad got more angry because of that. He said if i didnt leave you with him, then he would take Emre too. I missed you so much, and you were so angry at me and hated me. But my love is bigger than your hate. I only wish that now...and she breaks off to go cry in another room...

Oh boy how do i unpack the heap of garbage that was this moment...so lets talk what Asli did here and then we will talk about how Ayse fixed it...

Lets talk about Ayse's Aziz we got to see in the first episode- a loving father who respected and loved his employees and the employees loved and respected him, he didnt talk down to people and his smile warmed everyone's heart....even when referencing Can's history we saw the divorce hurt Aziz so much he was more at work and Can felt lonely and poor little Can decided he would rather go to boarding school to not feel so lonely and to not bother his father in a hard time

Now... Asli's Aziz- is a cheating man, who cheated with a secretary, a vengeful man who threatened his wife with taking away his kids and separated them so that not only Can and Huma were separated but also Can and Emre...and so Asli wants us to feel for Huma putting all the evil that we have seen and will see her do aside, and feel bad for her situation...not that this whole story would stop her from making call, sending letters, cards and flying in for special events etc and she never did ama neyse....during this ek era when we thought Asli was in it for the long hall i felt so betrayed by Huma's story...Aziz, a character i loved, turned out to be...Excuse my turkish....Pretty Shitty....it was so devastating to find out

We had many theories and discussions about this receptionist...did it really happen? Was huma lying? Is there a love child out there as we heard a new mystery guy was going to be introduced soon...would there be a love child? Maybe Aziz was just helping the receptionist out and Huma is so insecure she accused him of cheating.... maybe Huma leaving this part out also cheated to get back at him but Aziz didnt really cheat and that caused the rough divorce etc there were so many theories...but all the theories didnt help that Asli was set on this new idea of Aziz being the devil and Huma the angel of their story ...and it hurt a lot

No matter what actually happened in Asli's version of earlier events... Huma's sob story did not turn me to like Huma...if she acted differently since she came and wasn't a manipulative, gold digging snob and she genuinely tried to connect with Can, I would have totally switched sides...but she didnt...she has been a terrible person since day one back in istanbul...no history can erase the present

An then Ayse came back to writing ek - if you dont want spoilers please skip here and read the next paragraph as i dont want to ruin anyone's experience but it needs to be discussed here- Ayse was not happy about this part of Asli's writing, i will talk about the other changes that Ayse did along the way to take back her show after Asli completely changed characters etc but the major one i think is that she took back Aziz's character....When Aziz returns in the 40s the first discussion Aziz had with his boys was that Huma was insecure and thought that Aziz cheated but he never did, and that he could never love her the way Huma wanted and she knew that but chose to marry him anyway which for sure lead to that insecurity...but Ayse needed to set the record straight her beloved character that was made into a harsh vindictive cheater did not sit well with her either and I am soooo glad she fixed that...but it also made me hate Asli more for so blatantly making me doubt one of my favorite characters for months before Ayse returned

When Huma is in the other room, Emre asks Can: Did Babba ever tell you about this?

Can: not like this....Can almost looks too broken to cry...like he is just numbing himself right now

Mina and Fabri talk - the same exact lines as before except Mina ends it saying she will not be by Fabris side anymore and that he made a big mistake ruining the company like this...and for some reason she leaves through the back staircase like she is escaping lol a bit dramatic if you ask me, she could have just walked out the front doors

Back at the Divit house- Huma returns to the dining room after freshening up to continue talking with Emre and Can

Huma: I made you sad with this news...uh no they have no feelings about you bringing up their already shredded childhood and then pulverizing it

Emre: why did you hide this from us

Huma: you were little i didn't want to destroy your lives....but now is good...forget when you were teeanagers, early 20s, hell the year before...now when the company is in shambles this is the right time to talk about it

Can: no you didnt want to destroy our lives as kids, you just instead of taking your older son with you or staying in turkey you ran after your marriage abroad....he makes some very good points

Huma: i didn't tell you this so you would forgive me, I wanted you to know so that your hate for me won't stop you from your job

Can: ok lets get to business then

Huma: Keske, i would want that too but you are moving with your feelings

Can: look at you already starting with this

Huma: please listen before you interrupt me, Emre's Aylin and Your Sanem...

Can: dont you dare, look dont you dare put Sanem and Aylin in the same sentence....yessss thank you Can! Shut that woman down!

Huma: Can you are trusting Sanem more than you should, you should be more careful, i am warning you, dont only act with your feelings

Can: this company is not only yours

Huma: i am not telling you as a mother i am telling you as a partner

Can: OK Humanim ok ok ...I love when he leaves like yes thats what im trying to tell you - you're not my mother- i love that he calls her humanim instead of Ane ...she needs to know she hasnt earned that title ...not one bit

Huma actually has the nerve to be offended and surprised at how offended Can is....i mean what? all she said was to not trust the love of his life and compared Sanem to the vial Aylin, oh and that he wasnt thinking clearly because of Sanem and as a result not managing the agency well.... why so sensitive Can?

Then back with Ceycey unpacking with Ayhan, Muzzo and Sanem...dang this day is never ending...I feel like i'm watching groundhog day as the scenes keep repeating themselves

They all have cay together

Ceycey's robot is called Emre bey lmao that's fair....the name would be more accurate for a vacuum cleaner...because Emre sucks..... sorry lol dont judge me for that corny joke ;)

Ceycey: we are tired from all the work

Sanem: we are tired but it's not the end

Ceycey and everyone is confused as am i...what a random segway- Sanem tells them the idea to start a new campaign...lol but i guess she is referencing in her head

So they wasted all this time unpacking when they could have been planning a new campaign and so only at the end of the day they start with a deadline of tomorrow...yeesh

Sanem says the whole staff can work at the Aydin house

They agree and Sanem is like lets get Deren to agree

Poor Deren is walking along the embankment jobless, friendless, and humiliated

Sanem calls her and asked if Deren is available

Deren: of course i'm available Sanem i will be available for a long time

Sanem: no you are not available because we are doing a new campaign and you are helping...She tells Deren the idea to do a new campaign and that they need Deren to make it great

Deren: Can will never let me work on that campaign

Sanem: Can wont know because we are preparing the campaign without him and then will we show it to Can

Deren: can we do it?

Sanem: of course we can! Why couldn't we?....i love when Sanem believes in herself

Sanem and Deren agree to gather the troops and head over to Sanem's house for some brainstorming

Sanem calls Mckinnon

She just calls him Mckinnon...no Mr. and no Bey....eeeek seriously?

Sanem asks Mckinon for the company to get a second chance for the campaign...She asks for one day

Mckinon says a day would be impossible

Sanem: it would be difficult but not impossible....Sanem has so much hopeful energy here

Sanem:Someone I trust so much once told me that the deepest hole you can fall into is from losing trust...the agency we fell down that hole, but we are all together trying to climb out of it and we wont give up, please give us a chance....awww i love her quoting Can as the person she trust most

Mckinnon: ok then i'll give you 24 hours....woot woot

Sanem hangs up so excited that her plan is working, the agency is getting a second chance and possibly save a client and their reputation

Sanem tells ceycey and ayhan it worked...while muzzo is asleep on the floor

Sanem: I convinced him well because i am really clever...ok lol calm down sanem

The Divit boys at the gym

Can in is an opened zip up doing a warm up while Emre is in a zipup with a tshirt underneath lmao i guess they were like- no one wants to see that ;) sorry Birand im just kidding

Emre: i cant believe that Babba cheated on Ane

Can: maybe she was lying, we dont know....poor Can...at least we know that is true thanks to ayse not liking this story one bit...ughh all the weeks up to ayses return i was so sad how they destroyed Aziz as i really loved his character

Emre: i dont think she would lie about that....Emre you have no idea what she is capable of lying about because omg 39+ is next level ...i always thought Huma was evil but only until 39 did I understand how evil

Can: I think she did, because I know how much Babba loved her, after Ane left Babba could not be himself again....uff ya poor Can having to see that and also feel abandoned by his mom...his childhood was so hard and explains his intimacy and abandonment issues...poor bebek :(

Emre: just because he loves her doesn't mean he wouldn't cheat on her....blech lets put this on the top of why i hate Emre list

Can: anyway people can make mistakes...WTF i do not like this "cheating is ok"conversation.... I do not like it all ...I do not like it in the mall, i do not like it with a ball...yep Asli got me cracking so much that i'm starting to talk in Dr. Suess rhymes over here

Can: even if Ane is saying the truth it won't change anything, will it make up for all the years she left and was separated from me? ....true dat ...it wont

Emre: no but maybe it will help for the future, i know you are hurt and angry with Ane, but she is our mom, and as you said everyone makes mistakes and you would be sad if something were to happen to her and you are still like this

And then Umut arrives...love him ...background if you don't know, but you probably do, Umut the trainer in EK is the real trainer for Can Yaman....and so Can is actually training and working out a lot in this series for maintenance as you need a lot of hours a week of gym time to keep up that muscle mass. Actors don't get a lot of free time to go to the gym, when you are on set 16-18 hrs a day 6 days a week so Can would train with him even in scenes....but the awesome part about Umut is that since the quarantine he does live IG stories during the week for this protein company he is connected with and does free training where anyone can join..it's called pinar protein...he is awesome... before this quarantine situation whenever he would be in a scene I would just be like "sup umut" but now im like "yay Umut is here" lol yes i am kinda crushing on him ;)

Can tells Umut: we warmed up so much I might be on fire soon...soon Can? Lol whatever you say ;)

Can grabs Emre and tells Umut: He wants to be beaten so badly, do something about that ok...lmao i do love when they get brotherly ...even if i hate Emre I still like the brother banter in those moments you can forget that Emre is a d*ck

They get in the rink and Can asks Emre about the lawyer that came to see him in the office ...Emre lets him know the details and Can decides that both he and Emre should view Umut as Fabri so they can beat him up lol poor Umut... Can punching then gives a round kick and then Emre just giving a couple of punches lol like most people who don't actually work out in work out scenes in shows

Ayhan and ceycey walk in the streets going to her Butcher shop as a welcoming to the neighborhood of sorts

They are so cute Ayhan says she can get him Kufta and be romantic...and ceycey says yes can it be made into a heart...love my otters and their innocent love ...it is so refreshing

Osman and Leyla are both at the butcher store and they say welcome to ceycey and ayhan...Leyla says it in an excited " ohhhh the lovers are here" way and its sweet...dont worry i still hate leyla...she just has her moments ...sometimes

Osman is back behind the counter which i am confused by- he stopped working there for his career so why is he back?

Ceycey cant decide whether to call Osman Bey or Abi...lol love how nervous he gets around Osman - Ceycey so badly wants Osman to like him .... Bey is more formal respect while Abi is more casual but still respectful

Ceycey: you have an energy with the audience...I never paid attention to this lol dont know if this was due to the fandom talking about missing Osman...because we were all missing his brother talks with Sanem and actually interacting with the cast...now he is this side character with almost a completely separate story than the rest of the show

Ceycey and Leyla talk about how they will be working on the Mckinnon campaign

Leyla asked if she should call Emre bey...and then she pauses worried and almost honestly looks afraid of Osman ...then she continues- asking if she should call Emre Bey to open the office

Osman right on cue slams his meat cleaver down and says no way!....and the new aggressive, short tempered Asli character shines through...yay for aggressive men *insert sarcasm here*

Deren at the mahalle hugs and kisses ceycey and all the staff ...she is so happy to be back ...awwww Deren has the biggest smile i have seen yet

The agency works all night at the aydin house

Deren and Sanem sit together on the floor working together...the ice is slowly melting between them

Omg Ayhan comes in and kisses Ceycey on the cheek and my heart flutters and Ayhan is all shy and ceycey is silently freaking out...in a good way...and anyone who saw are in smiley lala land over this cute pda....and then he kissed her cheek back with an eyebrow raise and I just died from happiness with these two....Ayhan giggles and sits down blushing...ok i watched this moment 2x ...i love them

Ayhan asks ceycey if she should call Leyla to come to help and Ceycey says no because Leyla only works with the finances...but then he repeats -"Leyla is not needed" lmao thank you ceycey for seeing it too ;) ...I also love that he thinks ayhan is needed here more than Leyla who actually works at the office ....gahhhh otter love

Mevkibe and Nihat check in on them...they are worried about all their surrogate kiddos and it's so sweet...Sanem tells them they will be fine and wont make noise and ceycey adds: Yes dont worry i am the leader here...Bak Sen ceycey...maybe the parents seeing this would let her go to those "work meetings" more with Can as they are legit we can see that right ;) a gal can dream can't she?

Deren sees how much she can work and appreciate Sanem and so she confesses what happened

Deren: you were right about the slogan, the red mode slogan i used was yours, but i really didnt know. aylin stole it from your notebook, and then she gave it to me as if it were hers and I believed her, i was so embarrassed i couldn't confess it then. I am really really sorry

Sanem: it doesn't matter, i guessed that was what happened when you confessed you showed the campaign to aylin, in fact i think we need to thank Aylin

Deren: no way why would we thank her?

Sanem: no not like that, i mean that now we are working together. when we are together we are stronger and find a better slogan

Deren: i think so too...and She puts her hand lovingly on sanem's....i actually love their relationship and how it developed and grew ...it became a really mature and loving relationship

Deren: I want to show you caring....I love she had to say this before they give each other an awkward "we are trying to be friends instead of enemies" hug lol and them barely patting each others' heads in the process lol and ceycey is freaking out with this look that says "am i hallucinating or are they hugging?"

Meanwhile the Divit brothers are chatting in the locker room...Again Can with his zipup wide open while Emre is completely covered...lol I'll be nice as i erased what I originally was going to say about this ;)

Emre: i am so done, i will never work out with you again

Can: honestly you wouldn't hurt as much if you didn't miss a workout but you dont really care about it....lol i dont know the importance of this conversation but Can is throwing some shade at Emre

Emre: are you going to shower at home?

Can: I'm staying at the mountain hut now, you know that, im good there

Then Can goes to his locker and we get a full view of some sort of drink product. Now i know the reason for this scene- some shake product with the name something i can't read with the word "fit" is being seen in Can's locker....lol i'm surprised he didn't drink it and give a wink to the camera

Back with an exhausted agency staff- ...Muzzo brings in some awesome food and drums and music to wake everyone up... Muzzo to the rescue?....i'm a little annoyed that Muzzo made Cig Kofte aka the same dish that Sanem made Can but neyse im sure it wasnt Asli throwing things in our face as we started to hate her more and more on social ;) ....Guliz is giving Muzzo googly eyes and he is digging her too...first time i saw this i was like wuhhhhhhhh??? Guliz went from being interested in Osman to ...Muzzo?....then they all have a dance party until Mevkibe comes in andaks what they are doing ....they all stop waiting for her to yell at them and then she takes her robe off and basically says lets do this and starts dancing lmao love her...then Nihat comes to break up the party and noise and even mevkibe looks guilty now lol

Ceycey kisses nihats head and does his finger movements in NIhat's face... i think to do his usual spell stuff on him hoping Nihat will be calmer as a result lol love ceycey and his fairy powers

....then Mevkibe starts to dance again...she rocks

this is the closest to a house party Sanem will ever get

Nihat asks what the campaign is for and Sanem says it is for perfume...and then he tells a story....ok this needs it's own bullet point

Nihat talks about meeting Mevkibe for the first time...Nihat: I smelled her beautiful scent, I looked at her and said to myself Nihat who is she? She seemed so inaccessible....Legit they are the older version of Canem gahhh i love that....and Sanem decides that the name of the campaign should be called - Ulasilamaz - Unreachable

Nihat and Mevkibe leave all lovey dovey while the others continue to dance and celebrate their new slogan

Can calls Sanem while everyone is still there...he calls her late at night ;) i dig it

Sanem: what are you doing Canem

Can: how are you birtanem....yay birtanem is back...well i mean at least for this moment.... :( i hate you Asli for what's about to happen

Sanem: im making you a surprise

Can: a surprise, tell me...lol he definitely would be hoping for a different surprise

Sanem: I cant say be patient, you will see the surprise at the agency

Can: ok fine, there is actually something i have been thinking about

Sanem: what is that?

Can: i think i was a little too rough on Deren....uhhhh a little lol he is feeling guilty ama it was a lot Can...A LOT

Sanem: i think so too a little

Can: i think i should have been understanding of her getting fooled by Aylin i mean even my brother was fooled by her... i agree with the sentiment ...but Emre wasn't fooled but Deren was ... he shouldn't have been treated her that way because she was actually fooled by aylin...yay Can for growing a little

Sanem: yes you were a little unfair to her...Sanem is really proud of him and she is smiling as he is speaking and a little glimpse of the old Can is shining through

Can: i will call her first thing tomorrow

Sanem: don't worry she will understand you, you said the agency was our ship right, we wont know how strong the crew is without a storm

Sigh loved their pet names and Can confiding in Sanem and her giving caring answers that are from the heart ....sighhhhhhh

Sanem goes and tells Deren that Can feels bad and thinks he was unfair to Deren and will apologize to her... Deren is so happy and she thanks Sanem for everything she has done for her when honestly she didn't have to...Sanem and Deren agree to do the presentation together and they high five each other...yessss women supporting women and not tearing each other down LOVE IT

Sanem, Deren and the rest of the agency staff enter the office in slow motion ...Sanem is smiling like a badass ready to kill her ad pitch

Can enters and is confused why everyone is around

Sanem comes to him and gives this kinda awkward/ forced brush of his hair and asks if they can talk for a moment

Sanem: good morning Canem can we talk for a few moments

Can: of course

Sanem: you won't get mad?...and Can shakes his head no

Sanem tells him about how she spoke to Mckinnon to get another chance with a new campaign... before Can can respond he sees deren

Can to Deren: I was going to call you

Deren explains she helped with the campaign as a friend and hopes he will let her help present the campaign

Can:ok let's see this campaign

The campaign they share with Can

Can loves the new campaign and says it is even better than the other campaign

Can tells the workers that hopefully this will give us a real chance...Can: if Mckinnon accepts it, we can't make any more mistakes, and if he doesn't accept this then it is his loss and we will continue to do a lot of work together...Can is always great at uniting the company...especially after things fall apart

Then Sanem sneezes as polen walks in behind her

I died...it wasnt even on purpose this time her body just rejects polen

Sanem looks at Can shaking her head no and Can looks like he is about to crack up as he looks over to see Polen coming through

Polen enter all slimy and sweet

Can gets up and says Hos geldin....and they give each other 2 cheek kisses literally 2 inches away from Sanem ...grrr i hate this

And Sanem sneezes again...calm down girl...I mean ....Can doesn't look impressed by Sanem's responses and her continual sneezes

Can asks polen to come to his office and Sanem starts to go but stops saying ah you want her to go to the room.....grrrr i hate this...yes please Can, go have a private meeting with your ex as opposed to an open talk in the office...sure Sanem has to show she is ok with that, meanwhile she can barely talk to a friend and you freak out....grrrrrr

Can sees Sanem sneezing and says quietly while he goes to the office with Polen: come to your senses....and then Sanem continues to sneeze grrrrrr

The office starts to gossip all around Sanem talking about Can and Polen and they all go to their usual spying spot looking at Can's office from afar...thank goodness for glass walls lol

This is so degrading for Sanem to have to be whispered about in the office and it makes me sick how Can sees nothing wrong with this...and all Sanem can do is spy watching afar like the other workers....this was fine when she wasn't with Can but now it is blech

Can and Polen talk in his office

Can says he surprised to see her as he thought she was in london

Can was a little harsh when he said- why did you come...ama i dont care anymore lol at first i thought it was harsh as he claimed he wanted to be friends with her so ease up on the attitude ...however Sanem should not be with the other staff watching from afar so i'm ok with the harshness

Polen: i'm here for a week or so and i came to stop by

Can totally ignores her here looking at the computer...i just can't be happy in this scene he is disrespecting Sanem and Polen in one shot and uff ya

Can: good you did that, we have just been dealing with a campaign. What else have you been up to?

Polen is like i'm just having a relaxing life...yep because running a lab is cok easy

Can: so like always huh

Polen is trying so hard to show she is easy breezy unlike the drama that Sanem brings in his life...she is so over the top right now ...Her vibe and her gestures were more real in earlier episodes she felt a bit more genuine now you see her manipulative side and it creeps me out

Uff ya and sanem is standing with ceycey and everyone spying like the old days as if she isn't his sevgiler...this is so humiliating to watch...im not even going to talk about this moment as it makes me so uncomfortable watching her gossip with the other staff about Can and Polen

I am happy that Sanem doesn't bring Can tea and Polen coffee and another worker does it because that would have been so demeaning for her

Polen: i saw the opera Pyotr IIyich Tchaikovsky the queen of spades....

Can: oh i love that opera

Polen: i know...damn straight she knows ick she is trying to appeal to his cultured side as you know damn sure Sanem is not going to any operas

The opera is about a soldier who realizes he is in love with a mystery woman that is above his station and is betrothed to someone else...there is so many layers to this opera and it is not fully connected to ek but pieces i will bring up is that the queen of spades was the woman he loved and she had a special talent for gambling and Herman the soldier was very focused on her secrets to gambling so much so that he goes to intense levels to get her secrets and she loses faith in his love and thinks he only wants her for her secrets and not really her love....which is definitely paralleled with Sanem's scent and what we are about to see in the upcoming episodes

Can makes a phone call about the campaign and apologizes to Polen but he does not make eye contact with her like he cant be bothered....then he asks if there is anything else she wanted to talk about and she is just smiling and smiling...i know this was not how their original relationship was but this is pretty shitty

Polen then tells Can: there is an agency in London who wants a photographer to take pictures in the balkans, what do you think?

Can: normally i would think about it but i cant really go anywhere now, so i have to pass

Polen: ok well it looks like you're busy so i'll leave

Can apologizes and they double cheek kiss goodbye

Sanem still gossiping with Ceycey but says that Can didnt even act warmly or look at Polen etc so Sanem isn't jealous ...i guess that's a step but ufff ya

Muzzo and Mevkibe trying to sell the organic food and Muzzo starts giving away stuff with huge discounts...ya i dont know ...filler scene lol ....and i will combine the other filler scenes of this moment...Later in the episode Mevkie and Muzzo get shut down because they have no permits to sell like this and there was a complaint against them...guess who....yep you are right the Aysun and Cakal duo is at it again...they feel like flotsam and jetsum...the eels from the little mermaid...now we know what the eels would be like without an ursula calling the shots....Mevkibe doesnt know what a permit is...ama she has run a store and is the president of a mahalle and she doesnt know? Ya i dont buy that....another filler scene they go back to the bakal to tell NIhat what happened and NIhat thinks it is great because women dont know how to sell things and other masgony like stuff like that....blah blah Muzzo sticks his finger in honey trying to get nihat to lick it and taste the honey- ick and then Muzzo licks it himself...what are these scenes?....at least Muzzo calls Nihat out calling him sexist....yes you are reading that right - Muzzo - MUZZO is the one being the progressive one in a scene

Deren comes to Can's office

She lets him know about the meeting and before she leave Can stops her

Can: Deren, i'm really sorry

Deren: it really doesn't matter

Can:I think it does matter, it's really important, you are indispensable to this agency, you know i was so angry....I love that he is really apologizing and he feels so ashamed he is having a difficult time looking at ehr

Deren: i know i made an unforgivable mistake but i didn't do it on purpose

Can: i know deren that i am sure of

Deren: then lets move forward then

Can: of course we will come here

And they hug and it is sweet ...I love their friendship

Can: are we still friends?

Deren: always, we'll always be friends

And they hug again ...i love their friendship i really do

Deren: ok now that we forgot everything i will go back to work as usual

Can: ok

Deren tells Sanem that Mckinon is going to meet with them and that Can apologized

Sanem is very happy

Deren: thank you so much really...she grabs onto sanem's shoulders and Sanem holds Deren's hands a bit awkwardly lol as she tries to navigate this new friendship

Sanem: of course your relationship is so strong

Deren: right?!

Sanem: do you want Cay?

Deren yells: why would i want cay? I dont drink Cay, somethings never change. I'll have coffee...and you think Deren is back to hating Sanem but then Deren gives Sanem a smile as she leaves and its such a sweet moment

Sanem: i got goosebumps.... lol from now on we will get Sanem and Deren 2.0 friends and colleagues...goodbye "the other one"...I love Deren and Sanem working together and building that friendship it makes me happy to see them building each other up

Sanem goes to talk with Can in his office

Sanem: everything turned out great

Can is really happy to see Sanem i think he was grateful she didn't make a fool of herself being jealous of polen

Can: whenever you are involved everything turns out great

Sanem: i do my job with love then everything will be successful right?

Can does a familiar gesture of linking he fingers into hers and kinda moving in and out almost like the start of a dance...i miss these moments

Can: you were sneezing again, pollen allergy again huh?...at first it was real give her some credit for that lol

Sanem: yes , something happened with my nose

Can: is it better now

Sanem: yes, let me check yep its gone

Can: ok thank G-d

Sanem: so what about polen

Can: she was good just passing by

Sanem: passing by, so neighbors passing by, as we're neighbors istanbul and london

Can: she left when I said we are very busy

Sanem: i wonder if she had a job

Can and Sanem sit down and Can is like forget Polen, what are you doing here, i dont understand is it about work

Can says guzel but um continues to look at SAnem up and down so i doubt the guzel was about the work ;)

Can: you are acting so differently today, i am proud of you you seem more mature less childish.....so this is supposed to be a sweet and not a demanding statement....im just

Sanem: you didnt like that side of me?....this is important as yes he did love that side that is what he fell in love with ...the childlike side aka zest for life and so much hope for the future....not the childish under the table, gym stalking side that asli created...i also dont like that in this moment Can put that doubt in sanem's mind for a moment

Can: no i would never say anything like that, i love all your parts....gahh when he said the i love all your parts he was definitely with a little innuendo and Canem both reacted to it lol

Can:i'm just looking at your new style and your confidence, like she knows what to do and its really good, and also fearless and professional...the look Can gives is hoping this new style kinda seeps into their own Canem relationship

They did start having Sanem dress more maturely, ..Thank G-d....and i guess Hair extensions and soon you'll see push up bras are a part of that?...eh i think she could have been herself just dressed past the 80s and all would be good no need to alter her actual image

Canem are close on the couch when Huma breaks the moment....grrr she is so obnoxious...Huma: he must not be able to hear you because he is sitting so close to you....ya B....nope wont say it....they are sevgiler they can sit however close they want to....i just clapped that into Huma's face

Sanem gets up and says she will get back to work

Huma: yes i realized you forgot you were at work

Can to Huma: what do you want

Huma asks about the campaign and Can says Sanem prepared it and HUma hopes it will be successful. Can: dont worry about it aka im not talking about this with you and he says he is leaving....i hate Huma's smug face

Can tells Deren and Sanem to come they need to go to Mckinon to present the campaign

Sanem: ok Can, it was shameful what your mother saw wasn't it? ....seriously stop caring about what Huma thinks Sanem, it's annoying...

Can: dont bother yourself with what she said, never mind it

Sanem: Can your mother doesn't like me at all

Can:She doesn't need to love you because i love you....he said that sooooo close like an eyelash apart from her ...he could have kissed her right then....and his whisper voice gahhh

Canem and Deren come back from the meeting and it was a success they got the campaign...whoot whoot...ya they did!....so much better a campaign they don't need to exploit their love story...it was a while back but just to remind everyone the campaign was around someone meeting their love only by their scent...mhhhhmmmm and it wasnt obvious for Can that this was sanem's idea....just saying...Can said that Mckinon really didnt want to leave the agency he was just upset that fabri did what he did so he needed just a little convincing....Huma comes over to congratulate Can and Can barely looks at her and says thanks...Huma then talks to Deren about how she knows how hard she worked on the campaign and purposely ignores Sanem and Sanem's face fell as Huma didnt acknowledge Sanem in this win....ugh stop caring Sanem just stop caring

Sanem and Leyla talk in her office

Leyla finally checks in with sanem asking if Sanem is upset about Huma

Sanem: yes she doesnt even look at my face

Leyla:she is always like this from day one sanem....nice Leyla real comforting

Sanem: she saw me and Can close in his office, and now i feel all shy and embarrassed

Leyla: yes that is not a good look, dear sister, but dont care about her attitude toward you because your success is obvious and everyone showed you that...that is actually good advice...leyla is very hit or miss with her sisterly advice she is like a seesaw of good and bad

Sanem: i dont expect the praise from Huma, what i am really upset about is hiding everything from Can it makes everything else bother me more, everyone in the office made peace and now its my turn...so she finally is going to tell him...this time is different then all the other times she will really tell him....uffff ya 20 minutes left and i wish it was over...just rip the bandaid off...hit me in the face...do anything .... end this ....just make this episode stop...i know it is going to hurt so much at the end and so i just want that moment done with

Sanem: I will talk to him tonight. I made my decision, I know i keep saying that and then giving up but this time i mean it..... :( i cant comment

Sanem: if i tell him the situation fully he will understand and forgive me....ya a thousand days tooooo late sanem

Leyla: i agree, you'll get him to forgive you

Sanem: he already knows how much i love him, i'll tell him everything and he will agree with me too, he loves me too....so he didnt know how much you loved him before? But somehow refusing his proposal, holding back and making up excuses, and jealousy fits show more than before how much you love him....im tearing my hair out over here

Leyla: no matter what you do im always with you....this falls flat for me...she should have been a better sister and said that all the other times

Muzzo calls Sanem to tell about her parents fighting....and surprise surprise this takes precedence over telling Can the truth and her actual job....WHY IS THIS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY SANEM THEY ARE GROWN ASS ADULTS WHO CAN MAKE UP ON THEIR OWN...they were doing it for years before you and they will do it years when you aren't around too... trust

Sanem goes to Can

Sanem: Can are you busy

Can: that's Sacma if its about you ofcourse im not. I know the desk looks messy but i'm cleaning it, we'll make a program together aka he's planning them to do something together tonight

Sanem: i was going to ask if i could leave there is a problem in the Mahalle there is something wrong with my parents...this is so freakin frustrating i cant ...stop pushing him off and your work off grrrrrrrrrrrr

Can: seems to always be a problem with them...ya he is noticing too that he is pushed aside for them all the time

Can: i'll ask if there is anything i can do but you'll probably say...

Sanem: gerek yok..there is no need

Can: yep Gerek yok...yep there is no need....yay Can knows her so well aka he knows what she will say to brush him off :( ...:( .....:(

Sanem: are you available to meet after everything tonight....so only to break his heart do you find the time to meet after a family crisis ...got it

Can: of course we can, call me when you take care of everything

They hug and kiss each other on the cheeks and he hugs her tight for a moment...ufff ya the last time...the last time before everything starts to crumble

Mina, Fabri's now ex partner, calls Can to meet as she needs to tell him about Fabri and tells him she no longer works for him, but in person not over the phone....i just need this to be over ...18 minutes left of suck

Sanem and Leyla come running to the bakal as if they are about to make a world peace treaty....NIhat is still there upset but Mevkibe had already left the bakal upset.....seriously why is this your responsibility Sanem and Leyla they can come back together on their own ....uffffff i just give up with this whole premise....i won't understand it ...i won't try to...Mevkibe comes back and says to Sanem and Leyla: you can go to work everyday but i have to stay home all day, then i finally get the president job and that also bothers him, enough already...then nihat yells about her being president neglected her house work...blah blah blah and the same old argument is repeated again.... i guess when you dont actually deal with your issues then that happens....Keske Asli would let the couples deal with their issues we wouldn't have the same scenes on repeat in every episode....and Mevkibe decides to rent the store across the way from her own Bakal to be competition for the bakal with her organic food...how do they have money for that?

Can meets with Mina....take a deep breath everyone.... this is going to hurt...uffffffffff uffffffff im not ready and yet i just want it over with already

MIna plays the victim card as if she wasn't always on board with Fabri saying he would destroy Can...but now she cant believe he would do this to destroy someone's company like this yada yada she was friends with Fabri so she looked past his illegal stuff as he always apologized etc

Mina took corruption files before quitting and shared it with the police....ba bye fabri

Can is gitty with the news that Fabri is going down and will probably be arrested soon....and he asks for the documents with Aylin to be sent over to his agency so they can end ties with Fabri and Aylin....Can is so happy he wants to be at Fabri's arrest

Mina: Can, there is one more thing......noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Mina: its about your girlfriend Sanem....ya so she really doesnt give an F clearly about him she just was pissed Fabri risked her company and reputation ...she is not innocent and could care less about Can

Can: what about Sanem

Mina: you know fabri was obsessed with her

Can: yes i know

Mina: Sanem agreed to give Fabri the scent he was obsessed with

Can: what? that isn't possible

Mina: sanem gave that scent to Fabri...and she shows the contract...where for some reason Sanem just signs her first name like Share or Madonna...although i think in real life both of those women probably use their full names when signing legal documents...ama neyse

Can looks at the perfume contract and then flashes back to moments that didnt make sense before but now do

When sanem was going to tell Can something before he smelled fabri's perfume sample but then she said never mind when the sample wasn't good ...Can "sanem what were you going to tell me", Sanem"it wasnt important i will tell you later"

Then to them sitting after taking the pictures on the boardwalk when he was mad at Deren... Sanem, "people make mistakes because they are afraid to lose someone they love the most, you know that Can"

Then to the proposal by the hut Can, "what do you mean you want to but cant accept?" Sanem, "i cant accept Can, i mean, I cant say that i accept"

Can with every flashback breaks more and more and with that last memory and knowing now why Sanem said no to him...you see him crumbling...his eyes show a broken man

Mina: sorry i didnt feel right not telling you....uff ya you are evil

Can: no thank you for telling me, in fact it was all right in front of my eyes, i mean, how could i be so blind, this is what astounds me....uffff my heart is breaking as you see his devastation get pushed down and anger comes up instead

Mina:when a person is in love sometimes they are blinded

Can: i'm really grateful to you, i need to go straighten some things up

And Can leaves hiding his broken pieces with only fierceness on his face ....:(

So of course where do we go next but Melihats salon with Mevkibe , sanem, leyla and other mahalle women all talking about Nihat....ya not in the mood for this after witnessing Can breaking into a million pieces as his world and everything he believed to be true falling to pieces around him

Sanem and Leyla realize finally that them trying to get NIhat and Mevkibe together is pointless because Mevkibe wont listen to anything

Sanem: i'll call Can because i left in a hurry and i should tell him at least what's going on

Leyla: dont call him....grrrr SHUT UP LEYLA

Leyla: what willl it make a difference all he'll think is what kind of embarrassing family you have...and undertone there is that Emre will think it too

Sanem: he is not answering i think his phone is on mute....ohhh it hurts!!!! Sanem is oblivious about what is happening right now Sanem :''''''''( it breaks my heart how she thinks Canem is in such a good place right now little does she know how its in a fiery pit

Sanema and Leyla decide to leave the salon and go home

Can goes to Fabri's office

Can walks in like he owns the place going down the hall without responding to the receptionist who is saying Fabri isnt there

Can's only words: call the police...lol he is a badass

Can enters Fabri's office where the cucumber is sitting peacefully

Can doesn't wait for Fabri to says please have a seat and sits down with so much authority

Can: you took sanem's scent

Fabri: actually she gave it to me, but i told you i would do it like this

Can: you knew Sanem would do this to save me, you planned everything like an ambush

Fabri: yes because i plan out everything i do, thats the difference between us, right, I am clever

Can: i wont allow you to release Sanem's scent

Fabri: oh really? Look what i'll show you....and he shows the original copy of the document to Can...now that was not a thought out plan lol especially with Can's history of tearing contracts up in Fabri's face...

And Can tears up the contract and somehow Fabri is caught off guard with his response lol really? I mean what did you expect

Fabri: what are you doing?! this is a crime....ya like Can gives an F...Can throws the paper dramatically in the air lmao love it

Fabri: i will call the police you will go to jail

Can: it is your turn to go to jail now, the police are already on their way, but they are coming for you not me

Fabri: why me?

Can tells Fabri about what Mina told him and the police

Aylin is running - she has a suitcase in hand and is loading it into the trunk of her car ...and then the police show up...interesting that they pat her down and are more aggressive with her on fraud charges than they were with Can for assault charges....and she resists arrest and they handcuff her and ohhhh its satisfying to see within minutes Fabri and Aylin are both taken down

The police are finally at Fabris...and again much calmer with Fabri than with Aylin....i guess when you own a company it's different ...

Best line as Can leaves he tells fabri: I told you that scent is mine...and he walks out with a smile....first time i saw this moment i thought he is upset but maybe from all his knowing why Sanem did it he would talk with her... hurt by her secrets but understanding what she did it... right?...but we were wrong as each scene after has a completely different feel than this one

Huma is happy when Emre tells her that Aylin and Fabri got arrested.... Huma says to Emer: your brother will be so happy ...dial it back Huma....She is so obsessed with trying to get back on Can's good side without doing anything to earn it but then is totally ignoring Emre in the process... then she finally pays attention to the son in front of her and asks why he is so upset....sorry im harsh but i dont care...she is like an encyclopedia of how not to parent

Can comes to the Divit house to talk to Emre...and Emre can tell Can is out for blood

Can: Emre come with me.....oh boy they both go outside to the backyard....uffff my heart

NIka B translated this scene on yt and she titled it 100% accurately- "Can became enraged"

Can: did you know that Sanem gave her scent to Fabri?

Emre: brother actually...

Can: Emre stop mumbling, answer me straight forward please! Did you know that Sanem signed a contract with Fabri?!

Emre: i knew, i found out about it after it happened

Can: you found out about it after it happened and you didnt come to me?! Emre!! You didnt tell me?!

Emre: Abi, things were already messed up i thought not to add more to it

Can: Emre i dont want to hear excuses anymore, im really tired of it Emre...Can is melting down...the two people he was willing to forgive and trust again both lied to him about something huge...he is no longer cracking ... he is cracked... they broke him

Can: knowing this, you didnt tell me?! Knowing this you hid it from me?!...honestly Can hasnt deserved all the psychological torture the people around him have put him through...no wonder he cant trust anyone

Can: while i'm telling you that i want to trust you, you keep lying to me over and over, Emre....Can always says the persons name over and over whenever he is yelling at them like he has to check this person is really the one that betrayed him

Emre: abi look

Can:Emre! This is a pity, do you understand a real pity ...it doesnt translate best but "the pity" meaning he trusted him and Can regrets doing that and like everything between them was a pity, a wasteful endeavor

Can walks away and leaves a speechless Emre devastated

Huma just witnessed a huge break in her two children's relationship where they both are broken...and she is SMILING....how is Asli expecting me to eventually care about this woman? What is Asli's big plan?....Huma makes an excited phone call and we can guess it was to Polen

Can goes to his car and sees that Sanem is calling him and he throws the phone in the car... he is so hurt and he tries to gain some composure before driving away...what happened to the smirking guy who left Fabri's office?...the scene with Fabri almost seems out of place when the first instinct was for Can to be devastated and enraged ....it would have made more sense if next episode Can went with that fierce, in control, and cool manner to fabri...the fabri scene feels so out of place now

Sanem keeps trying to call Can so she can plan to meet tonight but he isn't answering :(

Leyla is helping Sanem plan an outfit while she is on the phone calling him

Leyla: maybe he isn't answering because he has a lot of work

Sanem: i hope nothing happened, no he has no work to do, there was only a little work left to be done at the office when i left for the day

Then Emre calls and tells Sanem that Can knows everything ....Emre tells her Can left upset

Sanem says he left? Where did he go?...Emre isnt sure but thinks the hut...normally Sanem would probably think this too but she is worried he left left and so she is terrified

Sanem: i hope he is at the mountain hut, i regret listening to you and not telling him the truth.....me too, Sanem, since Day Damn 1

Sanem tells Leyla that Can knows everything and she needs to go explain

Sanem arrives in the taxi at the hut at night and slowly walks to the cabin scared but needing to talk with Can... She sees him sitting in the hut upset lost in thought and then as she gets closer she sees.... Polen sitting next to him comforting him by talking and putting her hand on his lap..i have never felt so betrayed in my ek life...Sanem looks devastated and Can looks up at Sanem with this face as to say he was caught...and Sanem looks back and forth between Can surprised to see Sanem and polen happy and gloating at Sanem....and then the episode freezes...I HATE THIS

Lets break down three possible scenarios of Polen at the hut

1. Polen was told by Huma Can needs some comfort because of the perfume thing and Polen knowing where the hut was showed up uninvited to give comfort

2. Polen called Can after Huma told her about the Canem situation and like he did with Ceyda, he said she could come to the hut...but this is obviously is with more intention as she was always has been the person who seemingly never lied to him and he could trust

3. Can called polen and asked her to come and talk (spoiler alert- we know this didnt happen but initially first time watching it i couldnt be sure i didnt know where this was heading)

Whatever the reason for Polen being there is doesnt matter the fact that he didnt ask her to leave and he let her into the hut was such a betrayal...before he wouldnt even let her inside the hut.. Remember the first time she showed up at that hut- she had to leave right away and sit out on the lawn swing...and that was just when it was Can's hut...ok yes he was hiding picuters of sanem but in general he was at unease her being in that space....Now he is ok with it?!...Can had all these flowery words when Canem reunited- "from now on this hut means you sanem"...he would never sell it because of that - this space was theirs Canem's and now he let Polen his ex girlfriend/lover of many many years come in sit down and comfort him when he should be talking things out with Sanem? Yok Artik...just another one of his promises to Sanem he does not keep...and it hurts so much....Especially you know he is finding comfort with her rather than Sanem in their special spot none of the less

At the end he looks guilty like he was caught and i will share with you in the next recap how i wanted that scene to continue :(

All right ablas i can safely say I will not be watching this episode again....thank you all for reading and enduring this heartbreak with me....we are slowly making our way through it- together ...love you all ;) and until next week - stay safe and healthy
