#412. Teacher Series: He Stops Another Student From Bullying/Harassing You.

Louis: Being in drama class meant that you had to participate in the school plays in someway. It was a new, dumb school rule created just to make students take place in school related activities after school. So here you were, sitting in the back of the school auditorium, at 4 in the afternoon, as you watched people go on stage to audition in front of Mr. Tomlinson. You had been avoiding going up there, always looking down at your notes to seem busy or hurrying off to to the bathroom when he wanted another person to audition. Finally, he had forced you up there and it was extremely awkward, to say the least. This years' play was Othello and Louis decided that it would be easier to determine the roles when everyone read the same lines. All the girls would audition for Desdemona, one of the leading women of this tragic play, and the boys would audition for Othello, the leading male. As soon as you got on stage, you were uncomfortable with the people watching and it was obvious that they were watching, and criticizing, your every move. "Mr. Tomlinson," You spoke up, attempting to ignore the judgmental stares from everyone as they questioned what you were going to do next. "I'd really just rather be on the stage crew or something. I shouldn't have to audition if that's the part I want." "Y/n, the part you want may not be the part that's best fitting for you which is why we have to go though this process which allows me to decide what's best for this play. So let's begin now, shall we?" You did as he asked, your voice slightly shaky and you didn't take your eyes off of the script in fear of looking up and seeing the faces of all the students. They all began whispering although it echoed in the auditorium so your could hear every nasty comment that they were saying. You heard things like, "She's awful. If i was her, I wouldn't even bother coming to this audition." You heard some snickers before they spoke again, "Who even is she? I mean, she can't even look up to speak her line. How pathetic." "Enough." Louis said, irritation clear in his voice as he had to stop your audition and turn to scowl at all the students behind him. "It's extremely rude to be talking while someone is auditioning. No one spoke while you all were auditioning so what makes it okay to do it now?" They were all silent now, avoiding eye contact with Louis as if it would show that they were innocent from his accusations. "This is enough for today. You're all dismissed and I hope you'll have a better attitude the next time we all meet. Y/n," he said, turning back to face you which made you realize that you had been staring and admiring his features and you quickly looked away before he could notice. "I'm sorry at how this audition went. If you can, I'd like it if you could stay here for a bit longer and we can finish this in peace." You nodded, at this point you were too embarrassed to disagree and in the back of your mind you couldn't help but hope that this alone time would turn into something more.

Liam: Once again, gym class had arrived and your last talk with Liam left you anxious to see him once again especially because you couldn't help but feel jealous as you watched him with Ally and Jen during your last class. Thankfully, your doctor had cleared you of the concussion which, much to your dismay, meant that you'd have to participate in gym class once again. "Mr. Payne," A boy said, you didn't recognize him, or even know his name, but it was obvious that he was attractive with his dirty blonde hair and his cocky smirk. "Alec isn't here so I don't have a partner today..." Liam's eyes flicked to you quickly, finding a way to solve the issue. "Well, you're in luck because y/n, here, needs a partner also." You practically held your breath because you had always been awkward around cute boys, constantly stuttering and fumbling around whenever you were forced to interact with them. "Miss y/l/n," Liam spoke up, snapping you out of your daze. "Could you please work with Jace today? That way he won't be alone..." You nodded and followed Jace back to where he was already at. "Okay, ready?" He was slightly nervous since he hadn't worked with you so he wasn't quite sure of your skills. "I'm ready." With that, he tossed the ball over the net and you were actually surprised when you had hit it back with ease. This streak went on for a while, only stopping when, once again, a ball came from behind you and hit you in the head. You cursed under your breath and moved to the wall for support. Normally, the ball wouldn't have affected you but you were still getting over your previous concussion so your were understandable dizzy. Jace was obviously concerned, racing over to you to make sure that fine as Jen practically skipped over to retrieve her ball. She was visible confused when she noticed that Jace was so close to you, his arm wrapped around your waist to steady you. "Jace," She scowled as she attempted to draw his attention away from you and onto her. "Would you mind tossing me my ball? It kinda got away from me and I need it back to keep playing." Jace kicked it to her although his eyes never left you, which only pissed Jen off more because she believed that she deserved every guys attention whenever she wanted it, no matter who they were, and, right now, she wants Jace's. "Maybe you could come help me a bit,Jace." Jen spoke up once again and Jace sighed but turned to face her, although he didn't lift his arm off your waist in fear that you would collapse or something like that. "I'm busy, Jen. Besides, It's not my job. Get Joey or someone to do it." "That's not the point." She spit, glaring at you the entire time she spoke because you were the one who was keeping her from what she wanted. "Y/n is just a pity case who needs attention to feel better about herself and your just giving into that! She was probably faking the entire concussion she claimed to have because who really gets a concussion by just getting hit in the head?" "Jennifer." Liam scolded her, causing her face to pale as she turned around to face him. "I don't care if this is only gym class, I do not allow any bullying to take place here so I expect that your parents will enjoy hearing about this little encounter." "No, Mr. Pa-" "Don't even try it." He said, his eyes flickering back to you only to leave when he had saw how Jace was holding ontoyou. "I heard everything and it's beyond me how you would think that y/n faked her concussion. Jace," He said, redirecting his attention to the boy holding onto you. "Take y/n to the nurse and then come right back here. I'll check on her after class." Jace nodded, his arm still resting comfortably on your waist as he pulled you along.

Niall: Almost two weeks had passed since Niall had spoke to you and everything seemed normal, besides the dull ache you felt whenever you saw Niall everyday. At the moment, you were sitting in his class, now sitting near the back rather than near him like you were before. Lately, your grades have been slipping despite how hard you had attempted to keep them up. Niall passed by you, dropping a recent test on your desk and he sent you a sorrowful look as he paused which you ignored. You didn't want to deal with his pity because he ended you relationship before it even had the chance to begin. You flipped over your test, not wanting anyone else to see your score but that hope seemed to disappear as the girl behind you spoke up. "Look at her," Miranda, one of the most popular girls in the entire school, laughed. "She got a 50 on that test." She snickered, causing one of her friends, Hanna, to speak up. "Even I did better than that." Niall, who had just sat down at his desk, overheard some of the laughter which caused him to look up and try to understand what was happening. "Girls!" Niall called from his desk, finally hearing their harsh words over the other conversations and he knew that he had to put a stop to it. His voice booming over the rest of the class, causing them to quiet down as stood up from his desk, making his way over to you. "I don't tolerate bulling at all and I will notallow any of it to take place in my classroom. You girls, Miranda and Hanna, I hope you're both free on Saturday because you'll be spending it in detention." They're jaws dropped open, causing you to smirk from satisfaction. "Mr. Horan," Miranda pleaded, ignoring the stern look he gave her as if he was daring her to speak back to him. "We were only joking, just ask y/n?" As soon as Niall looked to you, both Miranda and Hanna glared at you, practically forcing you to agree that it was a joke, which you did, but, luckily, Niall didn't buy it. "Nice try but I know what I heard and I'm sure that you'll be looking forward to Saturday." The bell then rang, causing both Miranda and Hanna to storm off angrily while Niall continued to speak, this time, it was focused on you though. "Stay here for a few moments, alright y/n. I'll write you a pass for your next class. I just need to speak with you quickly."

Zayn: You were sitting in the hallway, sketching in your notebook since you had a free period. Normally, you would go to the library during your free period but, since it was last period, they closed it earlier than usual due to faculty meetings after school. Your attention was turned from your drawing to the rowdy group of teens that were fumbling down the hallway. "Hey, Jess," The tall blonde boy said and you vaguely recognized him as one of your brothers friends but you prayed that they would ignore you and walk by rather than try to joke around with you like they usually did. That hope was soon lost as he spoke up again. "Isn't that Greg's little sister?" They picked up their pace and, before you knew it, two abnormally tall boys and a brunette girl were standing at your feet. "What's her name?" Jess whispered but you could hear it clearly but you decided that maybe if you ignored them, they'd go away. "It's like y/n or some shit; I don't know. All I do know is that she has some nice tits." Jess hit the blond boy in the arm, James was his name from what you remember. "She's not deaf you idiot!" "Well, she might as well be. She always acts like a mute whenever we're around anyways. That's probably why she's never had a boyfriend before." "I'll bet she's never even been kissed before." The other boy, Tod or Tommy or something like that, spoke up, causing a blush to rush over your cheeks and your eyes start to water from embarrassment because what he said was completely true. "She's an outcast," James said. "Nobody ev-" "Excuse me!" The new voice in the conversation caused your head to snap up and you saw Zayn jogging towards you, anger clear on his face. "Would you mind repeating that, James?" James shamefully shook his head. No, he wasn't ashamed that hehad been saying such rude thing, he was ashamed that a teacher had overheard what he was saying to you. "Well," Zayn spoke again, his eyes connecting with yours quickly and you could almost see his apology in his eyes before they flicked back to the other three. "Since you don't seem to want to listen to my orders then I'm sure that you'll have fun staying after school for detention." Both his friends laughed at him which only seem to anger Zaynmore as you say his face turn a deeper shade of red. "And, I'm sure that he won't be lonely since he'll also have you two there with him." They all quieted and you shifted your gaze from Zayn and began to gather your things. "Y/n," He said when those assholes finally left, reaching down to help pull you off the ground. "I'm sorry 'bout them. What they said was awful." You shrugged. You didn't want to deal with them anymore because you'd much rather be home, in your room blasting music to distract you from the cruel people in this world who only want to break you." "It's okay." You mumbled, brushing some dust off your jeans. "I just want to go home." "Let me drive you." He said quickly because he was afriad that if he waited too long he'd change his mind and lose him confidence of asking you. "C'mon, you'll be waiting for the buses for almost an hour. Just let me bring you home and, that way, I'll be able to know that you're home safe." Nodding your head, you followed him out to the parking lot, hearing the final bell ringing just as you got in the passenger seat.

Harry: You were sitting in the back of your english class, writting the ending to a short story since you had some free time at the end of class before dismissal. A smile made it's way onto your face and you couldn't seem toconceal it as you wrote the ending to the story. One of the snobby girls next to you seemed to notice it and she soon quieted, directing her friends' attention towards you also. Amber, the girl sitting closest to you, snatched your notebook out of your grasp and tossed it to Natalie before you could take it back. "C'mon," Natalie said, opening the notebook to your previous page and, in fear of causing a scene and attracting unwanted attention, you stayed seated and silently watch as they tormented you. "Look at this! She doesn't talk much but she sure writes." What she did next left you in shock. She decided to read the story out loud for anyone who wanted to listen. "He grabs my hand as he helps me out of the large, over sized Range Rover. The bright blue of the ocean behind him only brought out the bright green shade of his eyes." Natalie spoke dramatically but she froze when she saw the next sentence. "Who's Harry!?" She exclaimed, proud that she had the attention of almost the entire class and, much to your dismay, Harry was also listening. A light blush was on his cheeks, telling you that he had heard the entire story and he's probably thinking how pathetic you are for having a crush on your teacher. This time, Amber spoke up, a wicked grin on her face. "Looks like little y/n has a crush on Harry." Thankfully, there was another boy in the class named Harry so that no one suspected your crush on Mr. Styles but that only furthered their teasing since they believed that you wrote about that Harry. "Don't you think it's pathetic that you have to write about romance? I mean, do you really not have a love life and you're forced to write about it. I am-" "That's enough, girls." Mr. Styles said, a scowl on his face as his voice thundered throughout the classroom. "Everyone has different interests and I will not allow you to mock y/n because she writes. Amber and Natalie this will be your first warning but if I hear anything like this ever again, you should expect a call to your parents. This is just unacceptable." He shook his head, causing his long curls to tumble out of his headband. "Y/n," The softness of his voice. compared to what it previously was, sent shivers down your spine. The final bell rang when he paused but he continued speaking to you as if it didn't "I'd like to speak to you before you catch the bus because apparently I have to apologize for some of the people in this class."

I've never bullied anyone. But yes I've been criticised for my writing, so yeah!
